Hello, everyone. I'm new to this site and have little to no experience with forum roleplaying with. I've been doing rp for about a year now mainly through Discord. If you wish to rp with me just send me a message and I hope to meet and get along with everyone on this site.

Forum RP isn't that different from Discord/Skype RP actually. Well, it may differ in how forum RPs are written out, but the whole gist is similar.

Hey there, Connor! While forum RP is definitely slower than discord/skype RP in my experience the gist is exactly the same.
When I first came to Starlight Academy I was new at forum RP too, so I can safely say this is a great place to begin and settle down. I really hope you enjoy your stay around here and that you hop on in the Cbox to say hi to everyone there!

To summarize what everyone else has already said: forum RP is really similar to discord/skype RP (oh god I almost typed 'and AIM' because I'm old) so I am sure you'll pick it up quickly. If you have any questions, you can always grab a staff member or feel free to ask in the cbox, too! The community here is really great and friendly so I'm sure there is someone who will be able to answer your question.
On the note of questions, I'm always curious how you got your username and if you're reading anything good at the moment.
