Personality Description:
Her name may be 'harmony', but her relationships hardly have any of that in them. She treats men as if they were toys who could so easily be broken and then replaced the next day. Towards her many siblings, she's cold and harsh, often criticizing them and making them feel bad about themselves. Towards other women, she is just the same. Harmony Chord would break your heart and laugh about it the next day, maybe even earlier. Most likely, she'll die sad and alone, but not before she makes your life a miserable mess. The only creature she truly gets along with is her pet turtle named Flute.
Powers:
Sound Magic. Just like her numerous siblings, Harmony has the ability to use her voice to influence others. She sings with a soft, soothing voice. However, while her most of her siblings may use theirs for helping others, she would use hers for the exact opposite. She'd sing about your failures and mistakes, making them seem worse than they actually are. She'd croon about your flaws and cracks, slowly destroying you from the inside because of guilt and shame. She'd do all this just to watch you break.
Siren Form. Whenever Harmony is submerged in water, she could change into her siren form. Her slender legs transform into a long tail with a forked caudal fin similar to that of a Banggai Cardinalfish. The coloring of her tail is also similar to that of the fish. She gains gills on her neck and her hands become webbed.

Harmony Chord grew up hating her siblings. If you asked her, they were all beneath her, especially her brother. He was a mute siren for crying out loud! But instead of abandoning him (it was a very common custom for very rare cases of mute sirens) like others would, her parents decided to take care of him, shelter him. He was their favorite. No matter what Harmony did, she never stood out. She couldn't. Not with ten other sisters, and certainly not with her dear deaf brother. So Harmony grew up lacking the love and attention she thought she deserved.
Once she considered herself ready, she went into the human world to find the destiny she deserved. She was only 16 at the time and completely naive. She was exposed to the many flaws of humankind. She was tricked, lied to, cheated and hurt, time and time again, yet still she didn't want to go back to the ocean, not yet, not when she still hasn't found the attention and love she deserved. One day, a man who had been allowing her to live with him for the past month tried to rape her. She fought back but he was far stronger. He put a knife to her mouth, the origin of her scar, and threatened to cut off her tongue if she tried to resist. Filled with hate and rage, Harmony had enough. With hot tears streaming down her face, she sang to the man. She sang to him of the hurt she endured, all the pain she felt, all the hate she had for humankind. The man was not immune to her powers, and grew insane because of all the guilt and remorse he felt and killed himself with the same knife he threatened her with.
Ever since that day, Harmony Chord became who she is now. Harsh, spiteful and full of nothing but hate. She never told anyone about the incident. Harmony used her powers to hurt and to break both woman and man, human and nonhuman. When she was 20 years old, she heard about a place called Manta Carlos Island, a place where all sorts of species with all sorts of powers gathered and lived together. She also heard that her dear brother and some of her sisters were there, so she decided to pack her bags and move on to newer hunting grounds.
