Gloria Eugenia Sandoval
Sensible requests, Gloria thought, nodding in understanding. She did have to wonder, however, how on Earth he expected to recruit any more members. Most people were, in their own way, sensible beings. However thankful she could be at this truth was mitigated by the fact that most also had the natural inability to understand what was really best for them and plan for the long-term.
She smiled politely at the compliment. "Of course, sir," Gloria said, "I could tell you now if you really wanted but I think it would be best to simply send it along some other way. Email, perhaps?" Speaking of technology, she hoped that he could find some sort of a technopath soon. A doctor, a voice of authority, a person good with numbers, a technologist, the wealthy. It seemed to her that those were the truly critical parts of any real organization.
"I would recommend not seeming too much like you have something to hide," the woman said. "Many people on the island tend to overreact when they have secrets. It is very telling and most of the staff know to suspect the worst. It would be in my opinion to choose some sort of lesser thing to let people be curious about. For example, social anxiety. Homeschooling. Oh, perhaps a vaguely tragic past. Not too over the top, however. Then people would start investigating. But enough to make people feel bad for doubting you."
