Gloria Eugenia Sandoval
There was nothing suspicious about an educator and a student having words, even if one was a daycare worker and the other was a high school student. Gloria had taken great cares to make sure that everything was very proper about their meeting place. The dusty desks were tidied up and shoved along the far wall, leaving only the teacher's desk as the sole island in the emptiness. A healthy pot of tea was brewing on a small burner, mainly for decoration, although Gloria would not mind a cup or two for herself. The honey was self made and also quite authentic. She could validate that there were absolutely no hypnotics at all within it.
When the water had sufficiently boiled, she poured two cups but refrained from drinking. The smell was something light and bitterly Chinese. It was incense, from a certain point of view, and the dead matter in her cup felt unusually energetic to her. Perhaps that was merely a reflection of her own energy. Changes were always so very invigorating.
Now, there was nothing to do but wait and see when their overlord would arrive. The time was ticking down and it would be a little disappointing to see a tardy.
