Adelene took the bag, curiously looking inside. Loch had already given her a surprise earlier today, she didn't expect he'd bring her more gifts. She was getting embarrassed again.

"Loch, I hope this isn't expensive," she said, but Lochlann already excused himself to go to Kranz.

Right.
.
Kranz's eyes were so sharp, they'd cut through Lochlann's head if they were real blades. Would make one thankful that they didn't celebrate in his shop. But he didn't do anything more than listening to him and giving an appropriate adult response, grabbing him by an arm.

"Stay, lad. Yer already here, if you leave too early, y'might take our birthday girl's high spirits with you. Ya know, when she arrived, first thing she did was complain how you didn't come 'ere with her."

He let him go after that, and let him do as he pleases.
.
Sky kept close to Allan, seeing that he wasn't very comfortable or sociable. He had even brought some snacks over for him from the counter.

"Was this about what happened last time?"

Sky turned his attention to Kranz and Lochlann before nodding. An amused grin was plastered on his face. "Addy and her friend went out for lunch one time. They fell asleep for three hours, that's why Adelene wasn't able to return to work. Kranz got angry. Only reason he's calm is that they actually gave him some booze when they showed up. Like what Lochlann is doing right now."
.
While Lochlann was occupied, Adelene decided to join Stefan behind the counter. She was curious about what drinks he was making, and actually wanted to try some out. "Stef, whatcha doing?" she asked, peeking over the counter top from the other side.

Allan stifled a laugh. He glanced at Kranz first before turning to Sky, "Didn't know we could bribe the old man with alcohol," he said in a hushed tone, a little jokingly. He wasn't into the bribing business but it wasn't something too harmful to know. It'll probably just be something for him to know; Allan wasn't the type to take advantage after all.

"Adelene's really close to those guys, isn't she?" Allan mused aloud looking towards Lochlann and the towards Leon. He then turned to Sky, "Do you... know anything about those two..?"

"Same as ever. Well, maybe a little more excited then normal, though I wonder why that could be."

A small joke, Leon was glad she was having a great time already. He saw the goggles and smiled bigger. As she looked at the sword Leon was proud of the work he and his father had put into it and that their work was worth the effort. An older looking man came up and looked at the sword himself. Leon assumed this was Kranz, more so after he complimented the sword itself.

"Thank you. Name's Leon Norama. You might have heard of my father's side business of making decorative swords for people, Jason Norama. A pleasure to meet you Mr. Kranz. I do admire your work as well from what I've seen."

As Adelene walked off to greet another one of her friends Leon started looking around at the others. One looked rather shy so Leon figured going up to him might be a good and bad idea. Didn't want to spook him on accident. Another was grabbing things from the bar which puzzled Leon for a moment.

It hadn't hit Leon, despite reading the invitation, that it was a pub with alcohol. He wasn't bothered for the most part. Just didn't want this turning into a drunk fest and him doing things he knew better about. Still he wasn't going to ruin everyone else's fun. This was Adelene's party and he was going to make sure her and her friends had a good time.

The one who just arrived made Leon feel a little one edge mostly because of how Kranz acted towards him. However the guy was Adelene's friend so he didn't do or say anything. Leon continued to watch and decided he should get to know some of Adelene's friends a bit. Which one was the bigger question though, as he didn't want to end up being rude on accident.

Leon watched as Adelene's friend went over and gave Kranz a gift and apologized for something. Whatever the reason Kranz was upset at the guy for, a gift and apologizing made him good in Leon's book. Meant a person knew when to suck it up and do the right thing. He also didn't want to hog Adelene to himself but for some reason he actually wanted to do that. He figured he would ask her some other time if she wanted him to cook for her again. This time he could do all the cooking and she could sit back. Another birthday present he thought.

Leon walked over to Adelene with his normal smile and look, standing next to her with his hands in his pockets. To be honest Leon felt a little awkward and out of place. He was used to being nice to people, to one person at a time. Not multiple people at once like how this was. That and giving his attention to said person. He saw that the person behind the bar was doing something. Oh well might as well join in the fun. Leon hopped behind the bar himself and started checking through some of the alcohol.

"Vodka and rum? Man you must be trying to either get yourself wasted quick or have a weird taste. Then again vodka is strong as hell on its own. Hmm....I wonder."

Leon had an idea, but wondered if people would like it. A shot for Adelene instead of a toast and people could drink whatever they wanted. Personally Leon would settle with a bottle of beer. He wasn't that big a drinker and preferred the simple stuff even if it tasted like ass. He'd still try different stuff since hey why not. He looked at Adelene for a moment.

"By the way I have another present for you later. Just couldn't exactly bring it with me. I'll show you another day so don't worry. Enjoy yourself!"

Leon jumped onto the bar counter and looked at all the guests that were there with a grin on his face. Yeah he was about to be weird but hey, it was part of his charm sometimes.

"Alright everyone! I think it's time for a toast shot for Adelene! If you're in come on down! We have a whole bar to work with so we can find you something! So let's get a drink going for the Birthday Girl!"

Leon pumped his fist into the air, comically purposely slipping off the counter top and back behind the bar, landing in a handstand before flipping back upright and laughing.

Adelene curiously leaned over, wondering what the two were coming up with. "Another present..? Geez, are you sure? I think you've given me waaay too much, Leon. See these goggles here? They're already perfect," she said.

But then Leon just... went on top of the counter and... oh god.

She was completely taken aback. If she were to say anything now, it would be her nth time of saying 'Leon, you're really weird,' but she figured he was doing it to liven things up. She actually appreciated it, and once the shock vanished, she found herself laughing and nodding and raising a fist with him. Although it wasn't as epic as Leon's.

"Guys, there's a reason we're in a pub! And you know, those food aren't for flies!" she used a light tone that was loud enough for everyone to hear. It wasn't like the pub was that spacious on the first floor, it was actually just enough for ten to fifteen people, since most seats were upstairs. She only had to fight with the loud music.

She joined Stefan and Leon and searched for some whiskey. She found a bottle that was still unopened, and this one was labelled to be 18 years old. She grinned and opened it, giving it a quick sniff before pouring some in a couple of shot glasses.

She turned her head to Lochlann's direction. The guy's surprise for her a few hours ago was epic, and as she'd thought then, and even days before today, she wanted him in the picture. She called for him, a loud, "Loch!" before waving the whiskey in the air.

Actually, she wanted to try the drinking competition with him now. She was going to shout it out, but she hesitated, not forgetting that Leon was just beside her. She figured he might not approve of it, whether or not he shows any reaction on the outside. Deciding that she could probably just bring it up later, she offered Lochlann instead, "We got whiskey! It's good, come here, don't be such a wallflower!"

Speaking of wallflower, she turned to Sky and Allan after that. Mostly for Allan, since she knew Sky knew how to have fun in the pub. Pretty ironic because he was a literal angel but... let's just say that Kranz happened. "You two, join in, let's have fun!" And then she turned to Kranz. "Same goes for you, old man!"

Apparently, their formality in work stays in the shop only.

She turned to Stefan ( @"Poptart" ) then. "Stef, is that good? I want some. Hey, why don't we all try it, it looks awesome." She'd been wondering about his mixture, seeing vodka and some other strong drinks. She had to wonder if they'd last if they decide to drink that. Although a shot would surely have no effect on her.

Everyone seemed to be mingling; meanwhile Allan felt like he was the very definition of a wallflower if Sky wasn't standing next to him. Part of him actually just wanted to take his leave and do something else but he knew Kranz would ask him to stay, and Adelene might end up looking for him. Might, but he wasn't taking chances. Allan wasn't a party person anyway and it didn't help out of this entire crowd, the only people he was familiar with were the Blades and Potions staff.

Allan just stood watching everyone, his glance darting towards Adelene half of the time. Looks like Stefan and Leon had plans in mind, he thought. It was too bad Allan was literally too self-conscious to be doing any of that sort of thing. He was really just going to stand around until Adelene turned to their direction, "You two, join in, let's have fun!"

Well, Allan wasn't one with a huge crowd but he was the person who couldn't really turn down an offer to go drink. He glanced at Sky and shrugged, almost like he was saying 'why not?'. Allan hesitantly walked to the counter near Adelene (seriously, he didn't know either of those two behind that counter; he was feeling a bit awkward).

He looked at the concoction Stefan was doing and just blurted out, "What does that even taste?" He didn't cover his mouth but his reaction spelled out him asking himself why he's said it out loud. Oh well, too late.

Once upon a time, Stefan made rum with coke which consisted of the two following ingrediants: Rum... and coke. That was it. He added some ice cubes and his friends told him it was bomb so obviously he knew what he was doing here.

He grinned mischievously at the people watching him. Oh man, he just thought about mudslide vodka and how he should totally turn that into an alcoholic milkshake.

The following food items were now in the blender: Ice cubes, vodka cups of malt, four spoonfuls of sugar, a shot of espresso, chocolate syrup, two cups of milk and cream. Stefan turned on the machine and watched the ingredients blend together until they were all a uniform light brown color. He poured his concoction in a glass and gave it a taste.

It's pretty good.

"I should be a bartender," he said with certainty in his voice and a glint in his eye as he handed Leon the blender.

It was so loud in here.

There was a prickling in his skin that gave him the feeling that he only had a little bit longer before he had to get home. There was no way he wanted to be caught out in the rain.

But Addy was calling him over to the bar where gods knew what was happening. There was something in the blender, someone on the counter someone off the counter and his head was swimming.

But he complied and stood next to Allan, though he didn't quite know the boys name, only that he seemed to be in a similar state of social anxiety as Lochlann.

"What does that even taste?

"I think the point is that you're not supposed to taste after you drink it," Lochlann mused. "I don't think anyone drinks whiskey for the flavor."

To the guy behind the bar, Lochlann said, "Could I try a shot of that?"

Adelene grinned when everybody finally gathered and decided to join in. She looked over at Kranz, but he signaled that he was going upstairs to smoke. She nodded at him, before turning to everyone else.

She was happy that Lochlann joined in. She was happy that Allan wasn't trying to leave. And she was happy everyone could have fun together, though she was still pretty shocked that most people here weren't previously acquainted with one another. They're all in the same school after all, except Sky.

She wanted to taste the mixture Stefan just made, but she had some whiskey on her shot glass. Oh well. She took the small glass and emptied it quickly, before putting it near Stefan, asking to have some of the mixture herself. "I want some too! Oh, and, here." She took some more glasses and slid them beside hers. They were for everyone else.

"Alright let's see what you got here."

Leon was confused by the mixture but decided nothing gained from just holding the glass. Within a few seconds the drink was gone as Leon chugged it down. Well....It was very weird to start. Was both sweet, but still had a hint of the vodka. He had to think about it for a moment before turning around and finding Jagermeister and pouring himself another shot just to wash down what he just drank.

"Alright not gunna lie it was weird. Not bad, just weird. Needed something else to wash it down though, too sweet for my tastes at least alcohol wise. Dunno how the rest of them would take it though. Think I'll just stick with...."

Setting the jagermeister down, Leon grabs a taller glass and pours in something simple for himself, rum and coke. He wasn't exactly a fancy drinker. Just something to drink, and something to give him that buzz. He figured he could drink a little more just to make Adelene feel better and not drag the party. Leon looked at Stefan and smirked

"Man we should just have everyone turn around and fill each shot with something different, make people guess. Start a party game of some sort. So," Leon at this point lens onto the counter still smirking, "Anyone game for that one?"

"Point taken." Allan rarely did mixes when his relatives dragged him out to drink but Lochlann was right. But it he was just really curious if that actually did anything to what alcoholic milkshakes would even do. He shrugged and decided to leave that slip up behind and just stick around the counter before he gets into anything he'd regret later after the party.

Allan picked up the glass Adelene had given out and it goes without saying that... it was surprisingly good. The smooth chocolate hinted with a kick of vodka was probably a new thing for him but he supposes that's what happens when he always went out to drink with older people. "Nah, I'm actually okay with this. My uncles usually just dragged me to drink 'em neat." Allan told Leon before turning back to the the counter, "Hey, could I get another shot?" Probably the only thing that can get Allan talking without all the awkward was over alcohol. And he didn't even need to get drunk.

Allan then turned to Leon who just decided to hatch up an idea, "Sign me up for that..!"
