Hobbies, yes he supposed he did, "cooking, I've been doing a lot of that lately," he'd say, giving a small slightly embarrassed smile, it certainly wasn't a hobby expected for someone raised to be a fighter. "And I've been reading a lot too."

"I did a lot of stupid things when I first came here," people had used and manipulated him, some still were. "This island seem so strange....so free," it'd overwhelmed him, the experiences, the ability to choose.

"Cooking? That's a great hobby!" Liron said brightly. "I cook a bit myself and it's just so satisfying to get something done and see the expression on somebody's face when they take a bite."

She listened to what Hadrian had to say, nodding a bit. "It's really quite strange being out in the world after everything at the outpost," she said, careful of the fact that she was partially talking about his parents. "Sometimes the freedom can seem suffocating. That's when you take a few steps back to rest and observe. It's no good rushing into anything."

"Yeah....I've been here a year now," it didn't feel like a year, it all seemed to have happened so fast. "Guess I did rush in to fast," running his hands through his hair he'd hum a little in thought.

"Lot of things here I just didn't...don't understand....so everything ends up being a conflict in my head," he often felt like he was being pulled in two directions. He had to deal with more than most his age, dealing with having grown up in what was essentially a cult and basic teenager stuff.

"You know, the island does have counselors for this reason," Liron said after a thought. "It might be helpful to see one of them. I think at least one specializes in, in trauma." She stumbled over the words a bit. The idea that the outpost was just gone still seemed completely unreal and acknowledging the idea felt strange. "They could help you around, too. Give you your career options."

"I will," he'd tilt his head, "sitting down and talking to some stranger about it seems so strange, buying can try it." He was open to trying any number of things, if there was a possibility of it helping he'd take a look.

He'd snort, "career options, there's something I never thought I'd hear." At the outpost he had one option, be warrior, with expectations he'd gain the rank of an archangel like his parents, here choices were far more numerous.

Their food arrived along with the check, he'd accept his sandwich and snatch up the check before she could. "Thank you for listening, I'm sorry about it all. I'm happy you found a family here though."

She reached out a little too late to claim the check, which miffed her a little but she wasn't about to start a fight over it. Liron made a mental note to get Hadrian back for it later. Maybe she could cook him a good lunch in return.

"There's nothing to be sorry about," she protested with warmth. "We all just have to do the best we can from now on. It'll turn out right eventually, in the end."

Her optimism was refreshing, it gave him a bit of positive energy to use, made him feel a bit more at ease. Hadrian knew that they all had a long ways to go to figure everything out, but he'd keep going and he'd help the others if he could.

"Ishvi...if I find him, do you want me to tell him you're here?" he wouldn't if she didn't want him too, it was decision and so he wouldn't force it either way.

He'd nod, he'd tell Ishvi if given the chance. Either way what would come next would be interesting. A fallen angel and one in the midst of falling seeking to help one another, and another who may not want help at all.
