The things she said, the things she offered, it was very much unexpected. "I.....thank you...," he'd take a breath, "but..shouldn't you hate me?" He remembered his sister, he remembered Ishvi, "who I am....who my parents were," the way they had non combative angels treated was horrible.

"There are a few others here....well no..just one other..," his sister was gone, she'd left him behind. "His name is Ishvi....he hates me...but we should help him," he hadn't seen Ishvi in a while, but he still deserved to be helped.

"You shouldn't hold people accountable for the actions of others," Liron said, quite sensibly in her opinion. "And I couldn't hate you for what your parents did - what they did was fully on them. You were just a child. Still are, in fact." She smiled a little, "I guess we both are to our elders, aren't we?"

Her smile faded the next moment later into panic. "Wait, Ishvi? My son? He's here?"

He smiled a tiny bit at her words, what she said made sense, he didn't want to bare the guilt for what his parents did. "Thank you," thus conversation was going better than he expected, for the first time in a long time he felt a little less lonely.

"Your son?" he asked, shocked at this, he honestly hadn't known Ishvi prior to coming to the island. "Yes he is....he didn't take the news well...I heard he even quit his job with the police. I haven't seen him in a while."

"Gods...that's...that's so awful," another horrible thing his parents had no doubt caused, "that shouldn't have happened, things like that never should happen." He'd fidget with his aura bracelet, he'd quickly slipped it on after meeting her.

He'd look at her, "he's....maybe we should talk to him though," he wasn't sure what to do for sure. "Even if you didn't grow to know each other....maybe we can still help him somehow," Ishvi didn't deserve to be alone.

"Maybe." What was there to even say to her son who'd she'd seen but never spoken a word to in her life? "Not now, though. I need to think. Just. I never thought I'd see him again," she mused. Liron had expected many things of her life - that she outlive her loved ones, that she wander the earth alone. That she be forsaken by God Himself. It seemed that the island was made to break some of those expectations.

She took a deep, shuddering sigh. "I'm fine, sorry," she said, mostly to reassure herself. "I was just surprised. Of course, we should help. It's what any decent person would do."

He'd nod, giving her a brave smile, he wanted to help her, help Ishvi too, they were possibly all that was left. "I'll see if I can find him later, I'm not sure what he's doing now," he was guessing he'd found a new job or rejoined the academy.

"Oh uh....," he'd scratch the back of his head, "something you should know." He'd glance down, he felt like he should tell her, if they were going to be helping each other. "I'm fallen...or falling I guess," his anxiety skyrocketed as he told her, it wasn't exactly something he shared often.

She hesitated a moment before speaking. Falling was a very serious and very private matter among angels. Liron was mostly over her issues that came with falling but that took several years, some of which overlapped with her falling process.

"Are you happy?" Liron asked tentatively. "I know we're supposed to be angels and all but He doesn't seem to care much what we do, does He? If you're happy the way you are, I can't see much fault with that. I would prefer to not be fallen but it's okay. It's fine. You can still live like this."

"Happy?" he thought a moment, happiness, true happiness was something he'd never had. "I don't know....on the outpost...I wasn't liked," his parents hadn't even liked him, they'd been ashamed that he wasn't a fighter, "but there was structure...I was given direction."

He'd sigh a bit, "here there's none of that....," he'd brush his hair back and out of his eyes. "Everything is open here...and..I don't know...I got to choose things...so I think I got lost," he didn't know what to do with himself anymore, he didn't know what he was or what he wanted to do.

"Well, it seems like you need to find some things you like to do," Liron said. "What about hobbies? What do you like to do? What do you think is neat and want to try out?" There were so many options spilling out in front of her, reminding her of that opportunities that she herself now had. "I know it seems like a lot and it is. But that doesn't mean you can't narrow your options down a bit."
