This Halloween was going to be different.

Mirella was bored of the usual antics and wanted to do something a little different. She wanted to have some fun scaring people. Why not make a haunted house? She had the resources to do so. Her mansion was ridiculously large; it would be simple to use at least part of it as a haunted attraction. She also had more than enough money to throw at special effects and fog machines. So she consulted some people and made some orders. Now all of the materials were here, but there was one issue: she needed people to run the haunted house. It would be no fun without actors, and there needed to be people manning the machines.

With some help, she was able to find some people. Now she was just waiting for them to show up. She floated in front of her large Italian-styled mansion wearing all black. Her long hair gently drifted in the wind. Her arms were crossed, and she was sitting like she was in a chair. However, she was in the air and there was no chair underneath her. Some aspects of the place were set up, so there were some gothic decorations and the machines were in their places inside. Her eyes were focused on her phone. She was checking through the list of items. This would be an interesting endeavor to say the least.

He had been a bit surprised when Proffessor Cadaverini invited him to help. He wasn't sure what he could do at first, but she had explained. His unique powers could provide some interesting props, skeletons and the like. That's why his bag of holding was full of the more horror oriented books in his collection. He arrived, and saw he wasn't the first, a pair of shorter people with green skin were also approaching. Other goblins? He had only met one before, that one being Cheeto. She was nice, and he assumed these two would be as well. He gave them a cheerful wave before greeting Mirella.

"Hello Ma'am."

Rum and Coke

Rum and Coke were walking alongside each other as they walked to Mirellas house. Neither of them were too familiar with the woman, but evidently they were requested by her. She must have gone through the theater department.

Well, Really Coke was the only one she asked for. Rum was just tagging along. The explosive obsessed goblin was busy chatting with her imaginary friend as they walked.

"...Well if you add in the nitroglycerin with that you get a bigger explosion, but less fire Cider. Duuuh."

Coke nodded to the tall boy as they approached, Rum waving to him without paying attention. He approached Mirella without a word, his arms crossed along his chest. He waited for instructions while Rum prattled on.

Iridian had not much to do this Halloween. So when a professor at the school was looking for actors and helpers for a haunted house, she'd thought, why not? Halloween was the time to celebrate the dead, after all. And dead was her speciality. "Hello," she approached the people (if you could call the goblins people). "Professor Cadaverini?" She hadn't met the professor, but she supposed the teacher would introduce themselves. And she was guessing the staff was the pale woman. The woman who was... floating. For a moment, she wondered if she was a ghost. 'Of course not...' she reminded herself, 'you'd be able to tell.'

"Why did I agree to this stupid shit..."

Yeagar had been there hours beforehand. A simple Halloween attraction was all he was told. Fat load that was. With everything he had checked over and made sure they were in working condition, or better after a few upgrades here and there, he was sure everything was ready to go.

All set to a master switchboard he set up in a room away from the main attraction. Cameras set up to record everything from each jump scare to outside security to prevent vandalism. Just because he could and had spare cameras laying around. Yeagar was currently checking all the breakers and making sure that the house and generator he brought would be able to run everything without that big of an issue.

"Oh right. Money. Where's that stupid thing."

Reaching for his pack of cigarettes one was quickly lit up and in between his lips before sitting back in the chair in the master room. He couldn't really trigger anything from there, just shut things down and keep watch on all the machines. Picking up the walkie talkie he puressed the transmit button.

"Hey Lady. Everything's wired up, set up, and ready to go. Just need your actors in place so I can make sure the machines don't effect them. And a few test dummies for some of the things rigged up."

A bored tone came over the walkie. Whether the lady who hired him had it on her or not was a different story entirely.
