Adelene wished Leon would lessen his gentleman moves, since she wanted to do stuff for him too, but she decided not to say anything about it yet and simply let him be. Somehow, she could look at it as Leon simply being a good friend, a kind big brother, and a really special warm-hearted guy all at the same time. Seeing it that way, she couldn't help but feel amused and happy.

She quickly went out after Leon, bags carefully gripped by her hands. Having one classroom all to themselves was great news, one that made her all giddy and even more excited. And so when Leon wrapped an arm around her shoulders, she unconsciously kept close instead of feeling awkward and trying to slip free. Everything felt strangely natural and light. As if their first meeting wasn't yesterday, but a long time ago. Leon's such a great guy, she thought.

"That's awesome, Leon! That means we can use anything we need! Ah, but that also means we have to make sure everything's sparkly clean before leaving," she chuckled. "Well that's fine. And don't worry, I do extreme training almost everyday so I kinda developed a huge appetite. Now where should we go? I haven't really been to the culinary classrooms."

Leading Adelene to the room he managed to book for them he quickly opens then shuts the door, going as far as to lock it. No one would be disturbing their cooking session. A small bother in the back of his mind was the looks he was getting as he escorted Adelene to the room. He knew those looks and paid them no mind most of the time. He hoped that it wouldn't cause any problems for Adelene later.

Setting his bags on the table Leon claps his hands together and turns towards Adelene with a grin on his face. This would be fun.

"Alright let's get started! First thing we need is a pot to boil water, a pan to start cooking the sauce, and the cutting board with the proper chopping knife. I'll find the pans if you can find the cutting board and a chef's knife. Well normally called the butcher's knife in a kitchen set, it's the biggest knife generally."

Leon started to shift through some of the cabinets, opening and closing them until he found the big pot he was looking for. Carrying it over to the sink he places it inside and turns on the faucet to let it fill while he searched for the sauce pan, along with the lids for them.

It took him a few minutes to find them by which the water was already at a good spot in the pot. Setting the lids and pan on the counter he picks up the pot, a little difficulty at first, and carries it over to the stove, adjusting the temperature. Till that was ready they had other things to work on.

Looking underneath the sink he finds both the draining bowl and a mixing bowl. Grabbing the sauce jar he quickly pops the lid off and pours the base into the mixing bowl, placing the draining bowl on the counter for the moment. An idea quickly hit his mind and he had almost forgotten about that.

"Oh right! Hey Adelene what size of shirt do you wear? There are some aprons for students and I figured it might be a good idea to wear them so our clothes don't get dirty.

Oh and for now just chop up the tomatoes, peppers, and the other ingredients into the mixing bowl. There should be....There it is!"

Going through a few of the cabinets Leon pulls out a small green thing with numerous slots on the edges, cut marks seen on it. Setting it down for Adelene he gives her another smile.

"Chop them into smaller bits then place them in this. It helps get them smaller so they can mix in better with the sauce base. I'm going to get started on preparing the meatballs while we wait for the water to boil.....Need another pot for that too."

Leon started to space off a bit as he spoke to himself at the end, thinking about what size of pot he needed as he began searching for it.

Adelene had actually noticed the stares on their way there. None of them looked very friendly, and although she didn't really mind, they made her feel shy and uneasy, because the people's eyes made it feel like something about her and Leon was wrong. Even though she knew there wasn't anything like that.

So getting to the classroom was a huge relief. It felt nice and calming that nobody would be interrupting them, and therefore there wouldn't be even a single eye to look at them that way. She sighed, and headed to a table to put down her items.

She briefly paused to listen to Leon's instructions before nodding with a single reply. "I'm on it." She seemed to know really well what she was doing. She searched near the sink and quickly found the chopping boards and knife, and brought them back to the table where they could do the other preparations. Since they were alone, Adelene felt at ease, and that was clearly visible on the gentle smile on her face. She searched some more cabinets, easily finding where the aprons were. They were cleanly folded in one cabinet at the back. She grabbed a small one for herself and immediately wore it. It was plain black, with the strap for the neck to the back crossed and the strap on the waist just long enough for tying. And then she grabbed another one, a bigger one with the same design, and went to Leon to hand it to him.

"Here, Leon. Wear this one too. Uh... What's that?" She was looking at the green thing he just set down for her. She hasn't really used something like that before. And it looked strange for some reason. "That's not really a bowl, is it..?"

She was eyeing it strangely, but eventually just decided to follow what Leon said, so she took the ingredients and washed them in the sink, before bringing them back to the table and starting to chop them into the smallest size she could manage.

A nod of thanks Leon quickly dawns the apron and continues with what he was doing. Checking temperatures, making sure the water wasn't overboiling, the oven was heating up to the right temperature. For the most part Leon was on auto-pilot. His face had the same smile but also a look of determination. He was going to make this meal one of the best Adelene ever had.

"Basically what you do is chop up the veggies into manageable sizes. Then you place the small cut up bits into the middle of it like so."

Picking up a few of the chopped up bits Leon placed them inside the green object and grabbed another knife from the rack. Leon started using the slits to chop the bits into smaller bits, dumping it into the pasta sauce before setting it back down next to Adelene.

"Like that. It makes the bits smaller and easier to mix into the sauce. Once it gets going I'll add in the extra spicy powder I bought. Add it too early and the taste gets lost. You're doing a good job by the way!"

Leon gave Adelene a thumbs up, turning back to the boiling water. A few bubbles were beginning to form which prompted Leon to dump all the noodles they bought into the pot. For now he could only let it sit till the noodles softened up. Turning his attention back to the oven he notices it's also ready to go. Sticking the garlic bread into the oven he sets the timer for twenty minutes. If he guessed right they'd be ready to eat by the time the bread was finished cooking. Snapping his fingers Leon turned towards Adelene.

"Hey I know! when you're finished with chopping those up mind getting the kimshi prepared? I haven't the slightest in how to do so to be honest. If things go according to the timer in my head we should be finished in twenty. Oh, and I would avoid drinking some of the wine till at least we have some food ready. Don't want to have that stuff going through on an empty stomach ya know."

He pretty much gave a hint to Adelene that "We bought it, might as well drink it ya know?" in a way that also said he didn't mind it. They weren't doing it just to break the rules or anything like that. Just to have a nice enjoyable meal with a fancy drink.

Adelene took note of how to do it in the green thing, but she decided to chop everything else first before using it to make the bits even smaller later on. While she was pretty focused on chopping, and was really fast and skilled with it, her eyes would frequently follow Leon, awe filling her eyes as she appreciated how fast he worked. She couldn't do kitchen stuff that well. Her best skill in kitchen would be chopping and slicing things, and second to that would be eating really spicy dishes.

"You look like a professional chef," she spoke suddenly. Her eyes were on Leon's then, even while her hands were still moving with the sharp blade, yet she didn't seem like she was being careless. "You're used to moving in the kitchen, aren't you? You're so smooth when moving around. I could just watch you for hours." She chuckled a few times before finally turning her eyes back to the knife.

She only gave the ingredients a few brief glances, before finishing them and starting with the green thing. And then, just as Leon did earlier, she dropped the finished ones into the pasta sauce. After that, she went to the sink to wash the stuff she used.

She went to the bags after drying her hand. She brought out the drinks and set them all down on the table, and then brought out a small jar with red sauce inside and some wombok (or Chinese cabbage) inside. She went to Leon to show it.

"I grabbed this from a chiller in the grocery shop," she said. "Kimchi is sold as it is, since you have to ferment the wombok with salt and Korean chili stuff before eating it if you prepare it by yourself. Buying a jar is much less of a hassle." She grinned and jokingly put the jar against Leon's cheek before dashing away to the cupboards. The jar was almost as cold as ice, although it did warm up a little on their way back to school, since kimchi is supposed to be stored in low temperature at all times.

Snickering, Adelene took some utensils out. She took some silverwares, plates, and bowls, stuff they would be using later on.

At the compliment Leon stopped what he was doing and looked at Adelene. A professional chef huh? This sparked another idea. Sadly he couldn't see any fluffy hat he could use to make another little scene. The idea made him laugh regardless as he continued his work.

"I learned from my mom. She runs a bakery so she cooks every morning before they open fresh baked goods. I learned with that first to help out then extended out to other stuff. That and I enjoy making my own meals over going out to some fast food joint. I know what's going in and its made just right. Cooking for others is its own reward and the look on their faces after the first bite it just.....Well it makes me feel great inside."

When the jar was pushed against his cheek Leon one upped Adelene and pinched her cheek softly. She wasn't the only one touching the other's face today! And it looked cute. Letting go he watched her go put it in a fridge nearby, his gaze never leaving her until she started to turn back around with plates and stuff for later.

"So excited to see how this comes out. Only a few more minutes now and then super lunch time! Man I can't remember the last time I felt this excited for a meal. Well not true. When Mom makes the 'Norama Special' then I get excited. I should of brought some goods with me for dessert! Oh well we can do that later."

(next post I'll start the "food is done" stuff. tired and started falling asleep doing this post xD)

Adelene set down the plates and rubbed her cheek. She didn't think Leon would pinch it. She didn't really realize until she's taken the plates, since it wasn't painful, but she was, in a way, taken aback.

She paused at some point, staring at the plates. As far as she knew, they wouldn't be able to eat outside if they use these. But she wanted to go to the towers and eat at a high place... Was it possible?

She went back to Leon's side and softly poked him on his upper arm. "Leon, are we going to eat here inside?" She asked. "I don't really mind, but I was just thinking, if you want to eat outside, I happen to have a picnic basket in my room. I could get it in a jiffy."

Outside? Leon hadn't really thought of that. It was also one word he loved and always enjoyed being. A smile and a nod was his response as Leon started looking at the food they cooked and took in a deep breath.

"That sounds like a great idea. Any place in particular you want to have a picnic at? I'm up for wherever long as it has a nice view and a good breeze. Tell you what, I'll do the finishing touches on the our meal while you run and grab your basket and such, sound cool? Might want to grab containers so we can carry this stuff out. Then again you already thought of that huh?"

Leon walked over and gave Adelene a pat on the shoulder. Adorable and thinking ahead. This was the type of person he loved hanging out with. They both had the same interests, would easily be able to think of things for the other, and was fun to be around in general.

"Let's get this lunch date ready. I'm getting really hungry from all these wonderful smells. How about you?"

Adelene smiled up at him. Her eyes suddenly shimmered with excitement, as her lips curved up even wider. First ever lunch with someone she liked, and they'd get to eat outside. "Thanks, Leon! You're so awesome!"

She sniffed the fumes coming from the food and chuckled a few times. She, too, was getting kinda hungry. She was thankful her stomach wasn't noisy yet, because if it suddenly roared, it would be really, really, embarrassing. "I'm hungry, too, let's make sure we'll fill our stomachs later on."

She patted Leon on the back, "Okay, I won't take long, I promise!" before running to the door and dashing out to the hallways. She didn't lock the door anymore since it would be too much of a hassle to her and Leon later.

The people that gave them cold glances moments ago wasn't really a problem to her. She headed to the dorm and to her room, grabbing the basket in only about five seconds before racing the clock back to the culinary classrooms. She was already sure that everything they'd need was inside.

"I'm back!" she announced the moment she reached the classroom door. She placed the weaved picnic basket down the table before moving closer to Leon. "So wassup? Oh, by the way, are the towers okay to you? I really want to eat there."

As Adelene left the room to get the basket Leon's mind couldn't stop thinking or focusing on the three words she said. "You're so awesome!"

He looked at the food and kept his eye on it, but wondered why he focused on those words. He'd heard it before from people he was nice to but for some reason they felt...Better. Like genuine and not just something being said. He felt a little fuzzy inside and liked the feeling. He just couldn't figure out why he had it.

A few dings, some movements from Leon, and the noodles were done. Leon drained the hot water out of the pot before putting the noodles back in, adding the sauce as he did. Stirring around Leon took a sniff of the spaghetti and smiled. He could smell the spices and man did it mix perfectly. He kept stirring it till Adelene came back into the room with her basket, asking if the towers were a good spot.

"Sounds great. Good thing I'm not afraid of heights. Alright now let me see..."

Leon placed his arm around Adelene's shoulders and gave her a little hug before carefully opening the picnic basket and looking inside. Containers, plates, bowls, silverware. Alright they were good to go. Leon took a few of the containers and put the garlic bread and kumshi into them and set them on the counter. He took the biggest containers and began to fill them with the spaghetti, making sure to get as much sauce as he could. Would be a waste otherwise. After a few minutes everything was neatly packed back into the picnic basket as Leon took his apron off and walked over to a nearby sink, filling it up with water. After the sink filled he started placing all their dishes into the sink to soak while they ate so they'd be easier to clean when they came back.

With the picnic basket in one hand Leon held out his left elbow for Adelene to put hers around if she wanted to. With a bow, Leon smiles at her and in a butler like tone he spoke to her.

"Shall we go My Lady? I do believe there is a spot with our name on it and a meal so wonderfully prepared for the two of us. Hope you're hungry because I may have made a lot more then intended."
