Tyler prefers to wear professional and dressy clothes and spends a lot of time on his appearance. His nails are tapered to a point at the end, though not very long in their normal state. When he has his wings out, they are large and scaled like a dragon’s, black in color.
Personality Description:
Tyler believes in fate. If something is meant to happen, it will happen, he believes. He will plan out his day to the very last detail, but if something happens to change it he can easily go with the flow. Tyler loves people and is very outgoing and friendly, but has his group of favorites that he prefers to spend more time with. He’s not going to stay quiet to spare somebody’s feelings, and always speaks what’s on his mind. Tyler can be quick to anger at times depending on the topic.

Energy Absorption –Tyler possess the ability to absorb the energy from others through touch. The more intimate the touch, the more energy he can steal at once. Tyler can control how much energy he takes, but there is a maximum amount for each type of touch and he can not take more than he requires to restore his own energy. Those affected by Tyler’s ability feel tired and will recover their energy with sleep. Most simple touches can only steal an amount of energy than can be recovered with one to two hours of sleep, while sexual contact can drain as much as a whole night's sleep worth of energy. Energy he takes is used to restore his own natural energy when he is tired or ill, though it does not heal him and merely makes him feel more well-rested.
Shapeshifting – Tyler has the ability to change his physical appearance. He is constrained by what is naturally possible for human beings. For instance, he cannot choose to make his hair purple or green, but can choose to make it brown or black. The only exception to this natural possibility rule is his “default” appearance that he was born in.

Tyler is one of a set of twins. He never knew his father, or much about him. All he knows is that the man was a demon who didn’t want to be a father, though he still supported them financially. His mother was very good about hiding any other information from them. They lived in a nice neighborhood and never wanted for anything, supported by random but large checks from their father.
Tyler was a beautiful baby, and easily loved by most. His powers didn’t start to manifest until he started puberty at 13, and he learned to control them quickly. Nobody knew anything about his powers because he was good at hiding them too.
Their childhood was otherwise uneventful.
After their high school graduation, there was an anonymous letter written to the twins that they believe to be from their father. In the letter, they were informed about Starlight Academy, and told if they chose to go, they would be welcomed there. When Tyler realized that he would be among others like him there, he decided to go so he could be himself and not have to hide anymore.
