Appearance Description: Riley is short for his age and thin. His brown hair is kept short and tame, just long enough to frame his pale face. His eyes are blue and appear to take up a larger than normal portion of his face. Riley wears casual clothes, but keeps as much of his skin covered as possible, which means he tends to wear long sleeves and pants even in the middle of the summer. Riley never goes anywhere without his locket, which is very old fashioned gold and bears a picture of his mother.
Personality Description: Riley finds interactions with others both taxing and exciting. He tends to only see the best in people, even if there is no good there to see. He is easy going and cares deeply for those he likes. He generally remains silent in a large group setting, however. Riley is intelligent and curious.
Powers:
Fire Manipulation and Creation—Riley can both create and manipulate fire that already exists. He can only create flames smaller than a baseball, but can manipulate up to an average campfire's worth of already existing flames. He can control the size of flames, making them either smaller or larger up to his maximum size for control. One thing Riley lacks is the ability to control the temperature of flames and he has no protection from his own flames.
Healing-— Riley’s body heals quickly from injury. In general, he heals at twice the speed of a normal human.
Biography: Riley was born to a relatively well-off family. When he was a very young child, younger than he can remember, his mother died in a car accident. While Riley was harmed in the accident, doctors were amazed at how quickly he healed. Shortly after that, his fire manipulation powers manifested. His father, fearing that people would discover his son’s abilities, and fearing the abilities himself, locked Riley in the house.
Riley has spent the majority of his life in that house. When he was 14, he was taken by CPS. When his abilities were discovered shortly after that, he was shipped off to Starlight.
