Namjilyn Nergüi

Nergüi was not one to engage in busy work. She was, at the moment, sitting at a table near the entrance of the bar, a small stack of papers before her, all of it entirely relevant to the upkeep of the business. It seemed like the city kept trying to find new regulations to pass, moving the goal posts so to speak. That was fine; Nergüi was careful if not anything else. If the authority was going to continue this nonsense under the guise of ethics, then she was going to match it full force.

It was sometime around mid morning, the time when the bar saw the least amount of business. It was the perfect hour, then, to interview some potential employees out of customers' eyes. After all, on Manta Carlos, who knew who would show up? Even with filled out applications, nobody could say that honesty was a well enough administered drug to know for certain.

She had put out an advertisement for blood "donors," too, but to be entirely honest, their stock was doing very well for the time. And then, the less of the rarer bloods they had, the more they could charge for it. Most people thought it was a hassle to go attacking divine or semi divine beings for a bite anyways. It was really a win-win situation as a whole.

With a head tilted slightly towards the door, the woman waited and listened for the sound of approaching footsteps.

Wesker casually entered the bar, wearing an appropriate outfit for the position he was applying for. He had on a red button-up shirt beneath a black vest and slacks, the color further accented by his gloves and a black bow tie. Everything was fitted into place perfects, no wrinkles other then what was necessary for movement.

He looked around the empty bar, tugging on his gloves a little bit. He'd expected more people to be here, at least for the interview. Though, in fairness it was a rather specific clientele they were serving.

He breathed in the scent of plasma lingering in the air and licked his lips slightly. If nothing else, he'd at least be able to sample the drinks here. After a moment, he approached the woman he presumed to be the owner. "Hello, I am looking for the proprietor of this establishment. I understand you are hiring tenders, yes?"

Neil entered the bar with a big stupid grin, he really needed to get anew job and he was confident that he would get this one. He wore his favorite red suit to the occasion, he thought it would be funny to wear red to a blood bar.

The idea of a bloodbar got him thinking about vampires, which got him thinking about one of favorite movies The Lost Boys from 1987, directed by Joel Joel Schumacher, and staring Corey Haim, and Keifer Sutherland in one of the roles that would put him into stardom.

As he walked toward the person he figured would be directing the interview he said one of his favorite lines from the film. "Okay, where's Nosferatu? The prince of darkness. El Vampiro." he got a bit closer to the woman and stuck out his hand "Neil Harmon im here for the interview, nice to meet you."

Namjilyn Nergüi

Nergüi felt the disturbance in the breeze long before either man had spoken. As the first one made his inquiry, she rose, turning to him with a stern but satisfied smile. "I am the owner, yes, and your information is correct. We have become quite a bit short handed these days. So nice to see people arriving in a timely manner." It was good, too, to see people who were handling this interview professionally. Nergüi would not let any common rat off the street work for her. What would that do to her reputation?

She was a little less pleased with the second potential hire. With that sort of attitude, people would get the wrong impression. It was a tempting thought to actually shake his hand but that would be equally bad manners in this case. Her touch did tend to cause discomforting sensations. Nergüi merely nodded her head at him, politely. He had, at least, introduced himself and worn a suit. "I would appreciate it if you would hold the jokes," the woman said dryly. "Some of our customers can be sensitive about this topic."

"In any case, if the two of you could please follow me upstairs, I have a room set aside for us to continue the rest of this interview." It was probably for the best, Nergüi thought, that she take this somewhere private, least the few customers that were there be disturbed by something distressing.

As they started to go up the stairs, Nergüi nodded briskly at the part-timer currently manning the bar. If there were any others who wanted a job, then he could redirect them.

Wesker gave a little bow to the woman. "Being timely is something of a specialty of mine, I imagine that is quite a handy trait in a tender of most sorts."

He then turned his attention to the man that had approached them. He made no remarks, and as Neil didn't specifically address him, he restricted his reaction to a simple look before turning back to Nergui.

"Yes, of course my lady." Wesker followed new employer upstairs. Make no mistake, he was going to be hired, it was just a matter of formality.

Neil had offended the vampires! Oh no! He shook his head in shame, and raised his hands. "My apologies, I was just quoting a film, I didnt mean to offend anyone, just wanted to see if we could bond through a shared love of film or something like that."

He followed her up the stairs into the next room, he stuck a hand in his pocket and thumbed his key, not his car key or his house key, but the key he used to activate his belt, maybe hed have to show off his abilities to this employer...

Namjilyn Nergüi

Once they had reached the second floor, Nergüi led the two men into one of the rooms closest to the staircase. It was identical to the others on the level, being standard issue. Going to the refrigerator first, she retrieved two cups of A+ plasma and two bottles of water, since she was sure at least that the man in the red suit most likely did not consume blood herself. As for the other, well. No point in making things awkward.

After setting down the tray, Nergüi assumed her place at the head of the table, folding her legs neatly under herself as was proper, and took one of the cups of plasma for herself. There was already a notepad and a pen there for her use.

She clicked her pen and said, "I'll need your full names, current housing addresses, the positions you are applying for, and your qualifications for said positions in addition to any other information you think is of importance. Medical, criminal, and familial are all wonderful subjects to cover in this category. If you try to hide anything, I will find out and I will press charges."

Looking at the younger man, she said. "Let's start with you, then. I don't believe I caught your name." Assuming that he had nothing to hide, Nergüi did think she would like to hire him. She also knew that he was probably counting on that. Let him try to impress her.

Wesker would the other glass of plasma and examine it much like a wine. A sip of the drink was followed by a small nod of appreciation before Wesker got into the details of the interview.

He rattled off his qualifications quickly and with practiced efficiancy. "Wesker Alchov Straundlin, Starlight Academy Dorm room X13, Blood Bartender as I have a taste for it myself." He raised a the glass a little to Nergui, as if toasting toasting her. "I believe that is all relevant information. I can assure you mixing drinks will be no difficult task for me, demonstrate if you like."

Neil sat down with the other two and started drinking from one of the bottles of water. He wrote out all the information required down, and slid the paper over to Nergüi. "Im applying for the security job, not too good at mixing drinks and all that." he chuckled when he spoke as if he was telling a joke.

Nergüi did a mental sigh at the brown-haired man's antics, letting him write down his own information. She glanced over it quickly, regrettably finding that she had no real reason to kick him out besides his general demeanor. Well, she supposed that if dumb muscle was all he was applying to be, she could work with that.

She allowed an eyebrow to raise at her other applicant's answer, however. "I see, so you're a student, then? I'm not typically the one to hire younger people if they still have their schooling to get through but please, if you would like to demonstrate, I have a tray of various bloods and plasmas you can work with in the fridge." The woman gestured, signalling that if he would like to retrieve it himself, he was free to.

Inside, Wesker would find a variety of unlabeled bottles. A+, B+, AB+, O+. All of them human. Two bottles of each type, one of plasma, one of blood. She did not expect him to use them all and indeed, if he did use them all, she would take that as a sign of incompetence and indecision. There were some empty cups on the tray as well, and a standard mixer. There was, however, an extra test hidden in the bottles. One of the bloods had been drawn from a mannish young lady with primal magic running through her veins. Magic was always a difficult factor to juggle in product. It would be interesting to see how that was managed, if he dared. Perhaps he would be able to sense it, if he tried.

Turning back to Neil, Nergüi returned to business, asking, "Please tell me why you have decided to apply for this job. It's uncommon to find regular humans looking into this line of work." There was, of course, always the worry that he was there solely to make trouble. She could already spot future issues with this one, too, and she would need much more convincing for this potential hire.
