Appearance Description: Donein appears to be a human male, about twenty years of age. His hair is a pitch black, and seems to absorb light. It is short, and never grows. His skin is pale.
His eyes are a solid color, ranging from violet to dark blue. They slowly gradient between those shades, as well as black. Each eye gradients at a slightly different rate, meaning they are rarely at the same color.
His general appearance is a very proper gentleman. Dress shirt with a dark purple tie, a black vest over that. He doesn't wear a suit jacket, preferring a tan trench-coat. The inside of the trench-coat is a pitch black, and seems to ripple, like water. He also appears to wear dress pants, as well as dress shoes.
His height tends to vary between days, ranging from six to nine feet.
All of his skin and clothing feels unnaturally smooth, and deathly cold.
His body seems to both exist and not, simultaneously. It constantly shifts out of reality, but it's never incredibly obvious. As a sheer example, he'll be walking and then seem to step with the same foot twice. Or he'll be raising his arm up, and for a split second it will be back down at his side again.
Occasionally, when he's imbibes too much power, his skin takes on on a dark purple, almost black tone, glistening softly, something underneath writhing slowly.
An interesting thing happens when others try to touch him, with the intent to do harm. His body will take the wound, before his entire body seems to shift in different directions, before instantly reforming with nary a scratch.
Personality Description:
Donein is strange. He lives life according to a secret agenda that a mortal man cannot possibly comprehend. He does whatever he wants, seemingly whenever he wants. He is polite, sometimes unnervingly so. Being around him, even just looking at him, puts a bad vibe into the pit of your stomach.
Powers:
Eldritch Immortality/Invulnerability
Donein can not be injured through normal means, and can not die. Injuries he sustains heal instantaneously. He can be subdued through psychic means, or powerful magic, though the psychic means would require intense concentration and power. Not recommended if you like being sane.
Patience
Donein, as an eldritch abomination, is a being beyond human comprehension. He has plans that will take decades, if not centuries, to come to fruition. He's a patient man, willing to wait.
Evil Beyond Comprehension
Donein, as an Eldritch Abomination, is a being beyond normal human comprehension. Although he rarely shows his true form, preferring to plot and deceive others in his human form, he gives off horrible vibes. Simply being around him will put a terrible feeling into the pit of ones stomach. Holy and Pure creatures especially will desperately try to avoid Donein subconsciously. His aura is that of evil, and those that are sensitive to auras can become seriously ill from simply being around him.
His aura grows stronger as he himself gets more powerful, and he is already quite strong.
Feeds upon Unease and Fear
This ability of Doneins is rather self-explanatory. He imbibes energy from others when they become uneasy, even more so when they experience fear. He has to be close to the people he's absorbing the energy from. This leads to Donein being around areas where bad things tend to happen.
Biography: Donein, believe it or not, was once a human. He was a paranormal investigator, researching several strange disappearances and happenings around his town, and the surrounding countryside. Strange symbols, glyphs, writings. Glimpses of things that he couldn't even begin to understand at the time. His mental state began to deteriorate as he went further and further down the rabbit hole. He began to practice some of the spells he discovered, furthering his madness. He carved glyphs and symbols into his skin, those that were designed to trap beings of great power.
Then he summoned it.
Performing a complex ritual that included a human sacrifice, Donein summoned a being from before humanity was even a glimmer in the distance of mammalian evolution, from beyond the veil of space. Then he fused himself with it. He fell unconscious as a result, of this, the magic seals working to combine him and the beast.
A few years later, Donein awoke again, though he wasn't truly the same. He caught a glimpse of his new form in a puddle of water on the ground, and grinned. He felt powerful, more powerful than he ever had. And the dreams. While he was unconscious, he dreamed. He saw beyond the illusion of time, and watched space unravel. He immediately began to plot, planning for many things. The destruction of the human race, the subjugation of it, even making them stronger to fight against those that would eventually arrive. Though, which plans he chose to act on in the future he would never know.
Donein left the cave system, the picked clean skeleton of his sacrifice and a dried circle of blood the only proof anything was ever there. He wandered for years, growing more powerful with every passing crisis. He particularly loved what the humans called 'World War 2'. Donein traveled around a lot during those years, growing stronger by the day.
One day he caught wind of a special island for people, those with special abilities. He heard rumors of those like himself residing on the island, and decided he would pay his kin a visit.
He walked into the ocean, quickly disappearing beneath the waves as he traveled by means of walking. Why wouldn't he? He had plenty of time, and he was a very patient man.
About a year later, he broke the shore of Manta Carlos, stepping out from the waves whilst adjusting his tie. He could feel the presence of several powerful beings on this island. He chuckled as he walked of the beach, heading into what appeared to be the city proper.
This island was going to be a very valuable asset to his plans. Whether the inhabitants wanted it to or not.
Additional Information: There is an organization that is aware of his existence, and has been tracking him ever since he arrived on Manta Carlos. Donein has shown no signs of knowing this, but those in contact with the organization have likely been warned about him.
