He'd lost.
Again.
That was... really annoying. And now, worse still, this. He wasn't hurt that badly, really; some bruises, probably, and likely a sprain, but nothing terrible, by any stretch of the term. Not even close to some of what he'd dealt with back home, that much was absolutely certain. Yet still, he was being dragged off to this 'infirmary' place to get 'checked up' all the same, and considering there had required more than one person to do the 'dragging', he didn't exactly have much of a choice, much as he hated it. Worse still when other people were seeing this and whispering, some of which his ears managed to catch. Annoying people...
Whatever was the case, it seemed they were ending up at their destination shortly enough. "Stay here," one of the men demanded, giving the fox boy himself a harsh shove into the room. Forced to try and catch his balance on the way, Kai unfortunately failed and wound up falling to the hard floor, smacking his chin right on it.
Now wasn't that a less than pleasant way to make any sort of entrance...
Grumbling to himself, the shadow fox quickly enough picked himself up off the floor, nursing his chin in one hand that was now sore along with various other parts of him. He was already here, he supposed, and from the scents he could pick up, there was probably only one other person around. At least that wasn't terrible... might as well just sit this through, then, and see how things might go. Who knew, perhaps it would even be worth something to come here.
"Hey! Whoever's here, those annoying people said I needed to get 'checked out' or somethin'," Kai demanded, shoving his free hand into a pocket and keeping his crimson eyes on where he was certain this other person around here was.
