Appearance Description:

Xia stands at a mere 5'2". She's a small cutie with porcelain skin. Her brown eyes are filled with light; her dark brown hair trails past her butt. She is a C cup, putting her in the average point when it comes to breast sizes. Her waist is small and attached to a round butt. She has long, thin legs. Her feet are rather small. She has more hip than waist, but there's more meat on her bottom than her hips. The hips just seem to support the plump booty. Her face is heart shaped, but it's hard to tell with the bangs that cover her forehead. They hide her widow's peak. Unfortunately, her skin is not flawless. Her body has scars on the torso and one scar on the inner thigh. These were from an incident which is discussed within the history. Clothes normally hide them, but they would be in clear view if she stripped down to her underwear.

Obviously the princess does not run around naked. She wears clothes that often have Asian inspired designs, but that isn't necessarily true for all of her outfits. She likes wearing a surprising amount of solids; she tends to downplay her royalty status with her choice of outfits. She hates drawing too much attention to herself. That said, she has nothing against small cheongsam dresses and actually adores them. She usually combines them with two inch heels. Yes, two inch. Her heels are definitely on the smaller end and tend to be blocks rather than stilettos. She's never worn sneakers in her life; it's not that she doesn't like them, but they just don't exist in her massive wardrobe. Xia has formal wear for the occasions that require it in both Chinese and Western styles. Her favorite accessory is earrings; her next favorite would probably be hair clips.

Her dragon form is fairly large; she's approximately the size of a smaller mansion. However, it's really only in length; she's scarily slender and lightweight for a western style dragon. Most grown dragons could carry her around with ease. She has white scales with a tinge of blue just like the ideal Akoya Pearl. She has spikes lining down her spine, but they're smooth and fairly harmless. Her entire body feels smooth; petting her is like rubbing a giant marble. She has claws and a long tail, but the tail is thin due to lack of training. In general, there is no a lot of meat on her at all. Her wings are much larger than her body it seems.

Personality Description: Xia is well-behaved and mild mannered. She's a great listener and exercises patience. She generally lets her conversation partner speak first before she interjects with her own commentary. She puts on a beautiful smile every day to make others happy. Her approach is gentle; insults and curse words are not within the princess' vocabulary. Even when offended, she always thinks of a nice way to put her thoughts into words. This unfortunately can make her seem like a pushover to some or be interpreted as her being too soft. However, there is a lining of steel underneath her plushy exterior, and it is enough to turn her passive aggressive when she is upset about something. Even when someone finds out about her true self, she never becomes wild or brash. Instead those that are allowed to see her true self are allowed to see her emotions. You see, Xia is the type to bottle up her real feelings and not let her facial expressions or gestures give them away. While she may state that she's unhappy, she will never show that she's unhappy. She struggles with venting her emotions because she's too afraid of being taken advantage of for them. Her powers make it so she's reluctant to even shed a single tear. She needs someone that can convince her that it's okay to crawl out of her shell sometimes and let her feelings show.

Powers: Xia is an Akoya Pearl dragon; this means she specializes in a particular kind of pearl found only in China and Japan. Along with other typical dragon traits like functional immortality (Though she can suffer illness), flight (I mean she does have wings), and enhanced strength (Except she struggles with minivans while many grown dragons could probably carry tow trucks. Yeah, she's definitely on the low end of strength for dragons.), she can generate pearls. She generates the most valuable kind of Akoya Pearls; the ones that are white, have a slight blue tint to them, high luster, and perfect roundness. The size varies based on how much energy she puts into creating the pearls. However, she's also weird in the sense that she can create the pearls effortlessly. As in she literally cries pearls. Her bodily fluids turn into Akoya pearls when they leak out. The color may vary (I.E. pearls formed from her blood would likely have a pink hue or reddish tint rather than pearls formed from her tears which would have a blue tint), but they're all pearls. This power is the source of a lot of trouble for her. Any pearls generated this way will always be small round drops.

Her other power is really just an enhanced version of akoya pearl generation. It's generating the pearls into various constructs. Unlike what was mentioned above, she has to actually take time and energy to create objects/items made out of pearls. She can't just cry out a sword; it doesn't work like that. She also has to envision the item she's trying to make as she generates it. However, at the moment this power is weak/underutilized, leaving her just able to summon small every day items like tea cups and flowers made of pearls.

Biography: Life is not simple when you can create gems effortlessly. This is the life Xia lives. Born with the ability to make Akoya Pearls just from mere body fluids, she quickly was considered one of the purest gems of the family. She seemingly had direct ties to the pearl dragon that started their clan. This made her incredibly powerful but also incredibly vulnerable. Being that she was the youngest princess at the time, the family had more concerns over her safety than trying to train her on equal footing with her siblings. They put the precious pearl within a bubble and taught her diplomacy. She was going to be a family diplomat and make good relations with others.

The girl's life was spent preparing herself to be a good hostess and bride. No time was dedicated to her combat skills; if anything, her powers training was focused on using them as a negotiation tool and a rich reserve in case the clan fell on hard times. Besides, they had plenty of fighters in the clan! She was considered too delicate to grace the battlefield, especially since she was somewhat sickly during her childhood. She lived in China and traveled to various locations in Asia to oversee business deals and perhaps attract a prince.

She's spent all of her life being a kidnapping target. Once some greedy folks found out about her and her powers, many trips fell into turmoil of varying lengths as people tried to steal the pearl princess away for their own purposes. The guards were skilled enough to thwart all of these attempts. All but one.

One attempt made right after her embassy trip to South Korea led her to be taken by a prominent treasure hunter who hired professional dragon slayers to snatch her away. It was only through the efforts of one of her older siblings that she escaped relatively unscathed. During the time they captured her, she was violated in various ways and beaten so that she would cry. When she stopped crying, they started draining her blood. It took the clan about a week to find her.

Shortly afterwards, news of trouble brewing on within the kingdom reached the rulers' ears. Some skilled slayers were trying to obtain the wealth of the dragons' for reasons unknown. They managed to infiltrate the castle and almost kidnapped Xia again. For both protection reasons and the education of those still going to school, the royal family was sent to Manta Carlos so that they could hide. The king and queen would still do their jobs of course, but they had to do it away from prying eyes. Meanwhile Xia saw this as a new opportunity; perhaps this would be the kind of freedom she needed to learn what she truly desired to know.
