I'm the programmer who helped migrate the old Starlight Academy site to the new one.
First of all, welcome to the new site. While it isn't on a free host anymore, we are free to update and maintain the software now, which is good for everyone.
There are some issues right now with things that haven't been updated yet. For instance, if you're having trouble logging in, you might want to check your email for your new password. Your old one won't work, sorry. Check your email before you bother Kyros about resetting your password, please.
If you're having some issues with certain links logging you out, it's because not everyone's DNS server knows where the new starlightacademy.net is, and it's taking you to the old site sometimes. This should resolve itself in the next few hours.
Some of the HTML pulled from the old board isn't processing now, because the doHTML plugin isn't installed. We want to make sure everything in the database is okay to process before we push that up. Once that's taken care of, old HTML posts should function appropriately.
In a few cases some strange accented characters have appeared in place of apostrophes, and similar replacements. This is because the way InvisionFree and myBB encode characters in their databases. It's mostly the same, but has a few small differences. This isn't something that we can necessarily automatically fix, but it shouldn't be too major.
If you notice any other issues with the new site, please drop them off at the Help Desk and we will see to them.
