Popping into the cbox is a good way for us to get to know you, and if you're new our guidebooks linked at the top should be helpful resources. We have a few notes on RP etiquette and such which contain the sorts of advice I found useful when I was getting started.

And don't be afraid to post on someone's plotter or PM them if you have an idea for a thread with their character. We only bite a little bit, and hardly ever steal your soul.

Welcome!!! Yes, as @Kyros said in the previous post, I started out here on SA! Before that my knowledge of how to roleplay was very limited, but the people on here are very welcoming and helpful. There may be times were you mess up, or are unsure of your rping skills, but like anything; it takes practice!
I've learned so much from others and tested my own boundaries!
I hope that SA will be a good first step in your roleplaying <3
