Name: Throne This part after appears to have been burnt off with lightning. All that remains is the following-el
Assumed Name: Lisianthus
Age: Several tens of thousands of years
Birthday: Irrelevant
Gender: Male
Species: Angel, Incomprehensible
Category: Citizen
Career: Unemployed
Appearance Description: Lisianthus stands at five feet and ten inches tall, taking the form of a young man with short white hair and deep blue eyes. He has a spiked, golden halo that hovers above his head and large, feathered wings that are tinted ivory. There are three piercings on his left ear. His style is mainly formal with flashes of color.
Lisianthus also has a true form which is incomprehensible to most beings. The best that anybody can comprehend it is that it looks vaguely like a wheel inside a wheel, flaming and covered with eyes. Looking at it for more than a moment causes the image to shift slightly, as if it were a hallucination. A few moments later, the image looks nothing like its initial form.
Personality Description: Lisianthus does not understand humans and does not care to understand humans. He is above both good and evil, serving only the Lord in the way he was made to - the purpose of which is unknown. As far as anybody can tell, he is meant to serve as a wild card in the supernatural community. He mostly keeps to himself and does as he pleases, only following the barest of human customs because it would otherwise hinder him. He is serene and graceful, which only serves to make him intimidating because one gets the idea from his demeanor that they will never live up to his expectations.
Active Abilities: Two Halves of the Same Coin - Having been both an angel and a demon at some time in his existence, Lisianthus is a master of both divine and demonic magic. He is able to cast spells at a moment's notice, powerful enough to set a football field ablaze with divine or demonic energy. Or both at once. It is essentially the same as setting the area on fire. Doing so, however, would drain all of his power and force him to rest for at least two hours. His usual repertoire of spells, includes simple smites and blasts of magic with a range of forty feet and a hundred feet respectively. His smites are similar to lightning bolts, appearing out of the thin blue above their targets and accompanied by the loud sound of cymbals. His blasts of magic are simply spheres of energy that burst upon contact. It is disturbingly easy to mix magics together and they can hurt people more or less if they are sensitive or resistant to holy or demonic magic.
Divine / Demonic Healing - With this power, Lisianthus is also able to heal - either divinely by using his own energy, or demonically using the energies of the beings around him. Both types will be rejected by their counterparts. His healing is good enough that after an hour's session, a cripple would be able to walk again normally. One day is all it takes to cure an incurable illness. The amount of time each healing session takes is tripled as his required resting time before another healing.
Telekinesis - Lisianthus is capable of moving objects or beings weighing up to two tons using telekinesis. This is actually how he manages to fly; his wings are purely decorative.
And I Must Scream - Those who look upon Lisianthus's true form are blinded, deafened, and rendered insane. Lisianthus can only slip into his true form at the command of another being. There is no change to his abilities in this form. This is simply what he really is. His only working eyes are two near the front while the rest is just for show. He can only interact with the world through telekinesis this way. A person could safely touch him since the fire is technically only an approximation of his real form but why would they? He can be injured normally, although it would seem to a person that he isn't injured at all even though he really is. Injuries carry over from form to form.
Passive Abilities: Divine Presence - As a divine being, Lisianthus has a certain physiology unmatched by humans. He is immune to all diseases and poisons. In addition, he is immortal and ages a thousand times as slowly as a normal human being. If he "dies," he will merely reappear in the same place the next sunrise and be able to return to earth. He does not require sleep or sustenance.
Angelic / Demonic Aura - As both an angel and a risen demon, Lisianthus exerts two auras - one that is warm and uplifting and one that is sinister and oily. They both occur at the exact same time. The first aura makes people feel in awe of his presence, although the degree of awe they feel depends on how much contact they have had with the divine. Those who frequently encounter the divine will be less impressed than those who do not. Similarly, his second aura makes others feel terrified of his presence. The degree of terror people feel is on the same scale as his divine aura but depends on their exposure to demonic forces.
Energy Lich - Being in both holy and unholy places, as well as places with high concentrations of those energies, grants Lisianthus a minor healing factor. It's not enough to regenerate limbs but it causes gashes and similar wounds to quickly heal up. It is less effective on broken bones as that would require an hour to fix. Being in these places also doubles the strength of his abilities.
Omniscience - Lisianthus knows all general knowledge in the world. He could have PhDs in every conceivable subject and that still wouldn't be enough to convey how much he actually knows. His knowledge, however, is limited to this universe, its past, and adjacent timelines and universes. He does not know specific facts about any one person unless they are public knowledge. The problem with his knowledge is that it comes with none of the practical applications. For example, despite knowing all types of magic on the earth, he cannot cast all types of magic because he has not had the appropriate practice to do so. Similarly, he cannot build high-tech objects because he has never expressed any interest in science and therefore has no experience with creating. In addition, he only has general college level knowledge of any given subject unless requested to provide deeper information.
Weaknesses: I Know Your True Name - Lisianthus's true name is at the tip of everybody's tongue, even if they don't know it. It's incomprehensible if one decides to ignore that weird feeling in their mouth when they encounter him but if concentrated on for more than a minute, it becomes understandable though those who understand it may not know what it is for. Those who do know his name and can produce it are able to call upon him at any time and place and he will be forced to answer their calls as soon as possible. Each month, a person may make three requests of him, all within his abilities. He can fulfill all of them if he desires but will be forced to at least fulfill one. It is only this way that he can slip into his true form. He cannot convey his name to anybody in any form. The following weaknesses also restrict what requests he can fulfill.
Turn The Other Cheek - When exposed to others, Lisianthus must greet and receive them politely. If he is attacked, he may retaliate at a tenth of his normal power or simply not retaliate at all. If he chooses not to fight back initially, after the second blow, he may fully access all of his powers. However, if he chooses to instantly retaliate, he will continue at a tenth of his normal power until sundown.
Do No Harm - Lisianthus cannot do harm to any being that does not outright attack him first. If he tries, his magic will simply fizzle out and his body will become still like stone. He is unable to hurt bystanders or people who refuse to be involved in combat. His powers will simply wash over them harmlessly.
Biography: Lisianthus was created as a minor angel of a specific sect who fell so spectacularly that rumors of it were told for generations on, though the story changes from person to person to the point where it's a mystery what the original story was. Once he fell, he became a wrath demon, preying on helpless humans around the world. It's not clear why but he eventually decided to repent and became an angel again, somehow working his way up the hierarchy enough to become a Throne. Most people in his cosmology know of him. None really know him. He is sort of a boogeyman to his sort of demons and angels alike, a reminder of what they could be if they were just a little. Bit. Off.
Eventually, Lisianthus took upon the name he currently uses and wandered to Manta Carlos. Whether out of boredom or curiosity, it might never be fully known.
Resources: Lisianthus has nothing, needs nothing.
