The lady Guinevere was the first to his desk and as he sat down he looked into her eyes and tried his best to not sound angry even though his tone had turned more gruff in his elder years in his human form. "You seem to be distracted little one. Normally you're much more alive during class. To be completely honest you're... " Trent cut off for a second as his gaze went from her to the desks behind her. With a small deep growl of annoyance with a flick of his fingers a piece of chalk wizzed by and smacked the head of one of the students not working.

"...a little, passive today. You've been my top student on more then one occasion. What seems to be the matter dear?" as he spoke he let his dragon and magical senses examining her for poisons or diseases in her body, even for the briefest blink his eyes turned reptilian before going back to their normal state. "you don't seem to have any known ailments afflictibg you..." he trailed off as he listened to her explain but he then remembered that Yuzuru was also standing there.

"Ah my boy, now the reason I called you up here was I have a few questions for you. First and formost I dont believe the Admissions Office placed down what you abilities are. I think that whatever is making you special seems to be inhibiting my teaching methods." he said lifting the note he had received from one of the clerks to expect a new student on this day. It barely even touched on anything other then Description and name...very odd of them.

Yuzuru thought carefully, trying to find a diplomatic way of saying that he thought that the problem was more with the class than himself. "I have some skill with archery," he volunteered, "although I rather doubt that would affect my abilities in the classroom. The admissions office did not give me any particulars about the classes I would be taking, except that they would choose my courses for me."

Certainly, if he had any choice, Yuzuru would not have chosen this class for himself. He had heard somebody mentioning the Ishikawa at some point, though, and while he knew that he should not be working off of information that he was not meant to hear, he could not help but come to a certain conclusion. "Forgive me for saying so, sir," Yuzuru ventured. "But, by any chance, did my family put you up to this?" It did seem like the sort of thing they would try.

Trent raised an eyebrow at Guinevere, he didn't really call out the bluff but he did pull out a couple of pages from his curriculum as he paused a second as he heard Yuzuru's tale. So...he really didn't know anything. That's something he's going to need to break through that...

"Lady Guinevere, If you do feel the need to at some point you can leave. But first if you wouldn't mind, could you please assist Mr Yuzuru start the assignment... I think he might... have a small impediment."

He did quite know WHY they assigned the poor boy to his class.. He was going to go get the poor young man a transfer to the other Biology class. He then looked up to the clock on the wall, class was going to be over soon... "It actually looks like class is over soon, If you two could start the assignment It's not due until next class. Mrs. Guinevere if you're not feeling to bad please assist Mr. Yuzuru."

"I really do not think that is necessary, sir," Yuzuru said, frowning quite a bit at the teacher's words. The way that the man had said impediment hit home harshly. He was all too familiar with that sort of talk from various family members and hearing it now made him want to scream that he was not some disabled child who needed to have his hand held for basic every day tasks.

"Perhaps, if this class and I are ill-suited for each other, I should simply leave?" He made the suggestion as calmly as possible, though he honestly wished that he could be freed from this place. "I would hate to trouble you, sir." And, judging by the look on the other student's face, he was troubling her simply by being there. That seemed very rude and intolerant of her, but perhaps she was as tired of dealing with this class as he was.
