THE ARGELION LORE

My character application is complete and accepted. Here it is! Oh and by the way, I mentioned War a couple of times throughout the app, and if it doesn't fit in with the stories of the other gods I can easily change it. So excited to start using Peace!

This might be a stupid question, but are the gods free to use now? Or are we waiting until their back stories are sorted before doing any kind of Rp-ing with them. Also, should we hold off on using them until more applications are complete so we can make a Pantheon thread?

And as for the afterlife, I like the idea of a Well of Souls. I think the gods would've all started human, as that's where the replacements come from and are made gods. Maybe their home planet(s) were falling to pieces and needed to be saved? Also it would make sense that the council were the first gods, explaining why they are more powerful. They might've been finding it hard to stay on top of every little thing in their planet/universe, so they needed other gods and goddesses to help them out. That might be a bit boring, but it's just a generalised idea of how I thought of the council coming together.

I saw some of you thinking about origins of demons in the plot chat and well I got lore for everything. One thing is about religion and origins. your demons could be my anti creations, basically a negative creation totally opposite of their first creation, (Take for instant humans, they live so anti is undead) It is very hard to explain in few words but that is the gist of it. It is basically based on the anti mater idea.

So, Im here to announce that the demonic realm itself will be known as "The Mirror"

How about a hierarchy of demons?

Where lesser demons are more aggressive and less intelligent, or to flip it around, the higher the demon is in the hierarchy the more intelligent and scheming they are.

Maybe the lesser demons look more and more like animals and and the higher demons take on the form of a human, now I am not saying that they will lock like humans, just their general shape.

Or scratch that, all of it besides the first line. The demons resides in a mirror image world right so then what about mirror image version of ourselves, something like they have taken the form of what it it we fear the most. then making species as that as a guideline?

As for my idea for demons, I propose that "demon" in this case refers to various "mythical" beasts created over time via the meddling machinations of various gods. The idea being that each species of demon is actually some unnatural creature created either accidentally or purposefully by gods, much like things like centaurs, chimera's and other such mythical creatures were in greek mythology.

They will be kept in an alternate reality that serves as a sort of reservation for these wayward creatures, but occasionally one may find it's way out and cause trouble. Sounds like a job for some brave heroes and demi-gods.....or maybe just a bored god or two. Given that these "demons" would be unnaturally created by gods, this leaves plenty of room to come up with whatever alien mythological creature you can think of.
