Name: Is most commonly known as Peace
Alias: Serena Davis, a name reserved only for times amongst humans with no knowledge of the gods
Age: A couple thousand years, but appears 24 in human form
Birthday: Who knows? She never celebrates it anyway
Gender: Female
Species: Goddess
Occupation: Goddess of Peace in Argelion Pantheon
Appearance: Peace has two forms; a spiritual/natural form and a human form:
Spiritual Form
Peace's spiritual form is invisible, instead existing as a feeling, or sensation. When she is in this form, those around her feel instantly more relaxed, even if they are unaware of her presence. This feeling of peace radiates from her in this form, meaning those closest to her spiritual centre, which measures around a few feet in diameter. are more calmed than those further away. There is no known way to detect Peace when she decides to take on her spiritual form, which she likes to do often as it calms her along with those around her. She prefers this form for some situations even though she can't speak, touch, be smelt or anything of the sort - in the form she remains a silent, unseen calming influence. Basically, when Peace is in Spiritual Form she cannot be seen, only emotionally felt, and therefore has no physical appearance.
Human Form
In other situations, which require Peace's physical presence or contribution, the goddess adopts a human form. This looks like a normal 5' 8", 24-year-old woman. She appears quite weak due to her reluctance to take part in combat or combat preparation, which would be pointless to her. In terms of build, she is one of the least muscular gods on the council. Though she is not fat, Peace has a curvy figure which also slightly hinders her ability to fight. Peace's hair is black and curly, usually tied into a single thick braid down her back. The colour contrasts with her face, which is relatively pale, showcasing big, round blue eyes and full lips. She takes good care of her human form, with full knowledge that her appearance would affect people's perceptions of her, and an untidy look could counteract her welcoming nature. This is why she hadn't allowed herself to grow fat, and her teeth are kept sparkling white.
She is able to switch forms with approximately one minute of concentrated meditation, though conditions vastly affect this rate. For example, in a cool, quiet environment Peace could change within twenty seconds while the opposite could delay it for up to three minutes.
Personality: Being the embodiment of peace itself, her personality is no surprise. She has a calm temperament and is very patient with others especially if they show effort. She is easy to get along with and is extremely quick to forgive. She is neither selfish nor selfless, believing in a happy medium for all creatures. She holds her value of peace over all else, and although she is a god, cares immensely for the little things. She has for centuries believed that mortals are brilliant flashes of life and deserve to live their days peaceful, happily and carefree. Any effect on a mortal life by a god or other immortal creature is criminal to her. Collateral damage is completely immoral. She is very strong-minded and while she will stay quiet and observant in most conversations, if someone attempts to disturb the peace she will intervene, somewhat persuasively but always honestly. This is especially true when it comes to fellow god War, who is her polar opposite in many ways. He is also just about the only person she has a consistently bad relationship with. To others, she can be a pain in times of war but is very useful in calm times or times of unnecessary conflict.
Peace is very easy to get along with, and someone who will support others if anything happens. However, it is very hard to have an exciting friendship or relationship with her due to her extremely peace-orientated life. Of course, gods can go corrupt, but Peace tries hard to uphold her values and morals so she can maintain her place. Some call her laid-back, others the opposite, and although she is very calming she pounces on every conflicting moment and attempts to compress it into nothingness. Even though arguments and violence aren't something Peace takes part in, she can be unsettling to be around sometimes when the topic of conflict arises.
Powers: Peace has two simple powers improving her ability to keep the conflict to a minimum.
Peace Radiation
Peace's overwhelming sense of peace radiates off of her like a magnetic field, and those around her are instantly calmed, the proximity affecting the scale of it. This happens mainly in her Spiritual Form, but still can be felt in her Human Form. When in her Spiritual Form, her epicentre (the invisible centre of her being, from which she sees, thinks, hears, smells and moves from) is the most intense calming feeling, which is powerful enough to make a warring human drop their weapon and start doing yoga. This has varying effects on other gifted creatures and gods, based on their individual powers. In her human form, her peace radiation is enough for a room of arguing humans to stop and hug it out. Again, gifted creatures are different. Regardless, Peace's radiation is useful when trying to calm people down in an area.
Spiritual Form
Peace's Spiritual Form is considered a power in itself as it comes with various benefits. The first of these is invisibility. While she can't feel, hold space or communicate in this form, she can do everything else and be invisible. Others cannot feel her presence aside from her peace-inducing sensation she spreads. As well as this, Peace can move anywhere, on Earth or in space, at unbelievable speed. Her epicentre is moved consciously with her mind, and can travel silently on land, through water and in air. She is able to reach the other side of the Earth within a minute in this form, though everything would seem to be a blur and passing through a divine weapon of her pantheon this way would permanently kill her. What's more, this form does not involve muscular contractions and so she doesn't tire. The only thing that could tire is her mind, and being a god, that is unlikely. She can stay in her Spiritual Form indefinitely and must return to it at least once a week through meditation to uphold the form, though she prefers to use it at least once a day.
Species Abilities: Being a god comes with its own abilities, too.
Increased speed/strength
Peace does not choose to work out half as much as other god(esse)s, nor does she make any attempt to retain her physical prowess. Despite this, her species allows her to become at least double the strength of the strongest human and triple the speed of the fastest in her Human Form. Of course, in her Spiritual Form she can lift nothing but has speed thousands of times that of the fastest human. This particular ability is not used often by Peace in her Human Form, but is convenient in dire situations.
Immortality
Peace cannot be permanently killed by anything but a divine object of her pantheon. In her Human Form she can be temporarily killed for a couple of centuries by any basic weapon/wound. In her Spiritual Form she is much safer. She cannot be killed or injured by anything but a divine weapon from the Argelion Pantheon which will kill her permanently if coming into contact with her epicentre, which is two or three feet in diameter. Of course, Peace is invisible and can only be detected by feeling her calming effect, by which time she could be on the other side of the Earth.
Healing
Like all gods and goddesses, Peace can heal at twice the rate of humans in her Human Form and wounds from anything but divine weapons of her pantheon are not inflicted upon her divine form.
History: Peace inherited the position as a goddess of the Argelion Pantheon after the previous goddess was killed with a divine weapon. This was due to her irritating the other gods whilst they were at war. Peace learnt the ways of the gods and quickly became accustomed to her new life. Although at first she wondered about the immorality of the situation, avoiding death, she replaced the thought with the knowledge she was doing good for the mortals. And that was how she spent her days as a god - ensuring that as many mortals lived long, happy lives conflict-free as possible.
When news of many gods travelling to a planet called Earth, Peace was instantly curious. As she heard who was going, she knew her presence was required. This was mostly due to War. She didn't know what he was capable of without a peacemaker. He could tear the world apart! So she tagged along, her goals to first of all keep her fellow gods in check and also to roam a new land. Maybe it would be a world of terror worth fixing, or a land of blissful, eternal harmony. She wouldn't know until she got there...
