Innocence
She used to be innocent, that part of her is still there, just deeply buried, though once resurfaced before Tatsuo inherited her and then lost even deeper once he showed his true colors. She had once been playful, though once more hidden in the depths of her soul. Should she ever be freed and should she remember who she was before the Taoist there is a slight chance of her to be playful once more.
Wrath
When the Taoist forced her servitude she got so angry she vowed to slay every last one of his blood once she has been set free. Her anger kept her sane for years, decades, centuries even, however the friendship with Tatsuo diminished her anger. She couldn't hurt him, though carrying the grudge for so long it wouldn't just subside. The anger still there, with no happy memories of Tatsuo she didn't know why her soul wouldn't let her want to harm him, this conflict within was what finally broke her.
Cold
With the loss of her admiration, empathy and faith of others she has become a much colder person, more decisive and objectively neutral and she no longer care if others are hurt. She has become as bad as she thought Tatsuo to be.

Her freedom was bound in the magic of her tail, bound into servitude until she has granted 9 wishes to the same person. for every wish a tail is grown. Should the person she is bound to die, she will be handed down to the nearest blood relative and the process starts over.

Biography:
For one hundred years she wandered as a fox wishing good luck on those she deemed worthy, on her hundreth year she finally was mature enough to gain her human form. One time she found a sick kid, not just randomly, she hid in the shadows listening in to conversations as this she had found out would give her enough information to find innocent and worthy people of her luck. The kid was the son of a nobleman, so he was locked up. The age they lived in they thought everything was demons fault so the noblemen didn't want it to spread as it would be a scandal, nor could he kill what he thought to be a demon wearing his son as skin. The nobleman did the only thing he thought was the right thing, he called for an exorcist. Kaori was by no means a physician but by finding things for the kid to play with and granting a little luck, surely a happy kid would recuperate quicker, yet she wouldn't reveal herself just yet.
It wasn't until a pesky Taoist came and put up protective barriers on every building, until she was exposed. Her curiosity took over her and lead her to the man, she needed to know why he was doing this when there where real demon threats elsewhere and all the boy would need where a proper physician. She already figured out that the nobleman had hired him, the both of them surely where delusional. He had connections and would be the first one people would turn to whenever something was amiss and he offered to let her know so that she could do her thing, it would be easier then to sculk around and she had no worries since taoists are honorable men, right? Wrong! In order for him to believe the words of a so called demon he needed to trust her and the only way he knew how was if he cut his hand and she cut hers, then shake on it. It was a ritual most often used between two parties who highly respects and trust each other, breaking such a thing was believed to incur the wrath of heaven.
In all of her many years she had never been fooled so hard before, the trust ritual was just a ruse to create a contract to bind him to his will and blood, this was when she lost her innocence. She vowed revenge, once she would be free she would kill every last blood relative of the Taoist. With a wish gone wrong, the Taoist died by his own hand. The following four owner either died by a corrupt wish or by old age, never wishing anything out of fear.
When Tatsuo was a kid she hatched a plan to befriend him so early most of his memories would be about her, so that when it was his time to own her he would wish nine things in succession and free her. The plan backfired and she actually developed a real friendship, or so she had been lead to believe. She has lost these precious memories and was thoroughly broken once he inherited her, it seemed he was just another jackass just out for himself and increasing his powers. The pet store was just insult to injury with a name like "Happy Tails".
Additional Information: She has a Tanto, it is sort of short sword formed like a Katana, a Japanese sword.
