Appearance: Theo is a cute little werewolf boy with two forms. He currently has no clue how to switch between them, so he's constantly stuck in a mixture between the two. He is short, but around the normal height for a preschooler, and of a healthy weight. That is, he has a round face with chubby cheeks with a chubby but not fat body. His smooth complexion is of an olive to light tan shade. His eyes are large, round and green underneath thin brown eyebrows, his nose is petite and his lips are a light pink colour and small. His cheeks are round and his face is unblemished. He has baby teeth in his mouth, but his semi-wolf form means he has longer (yet still developing), pointy incisor/fangs which typically rest outside of it. His ears also look like those of a wolf, as they are higher than a human's and perk up. His hair is a rich brown, thick mop which sticks up off of his head, resembling long fur, and is both thicker and taller than most of his male classmates. From his neck to his waist, he appears to be totally human. His legs, however, are covered in thick brown fur, like a shorter version of his hair. They take on the shape of a normal boy's legs, if not slightly thicker and more muscular, and end with relatively large paws with trimmed claws (larger than a dogs, but smaller than a human foot.) He usually wears colourful T-shirts or hoodies, loose fitting board shorts or tracksuit pants and no shoes. He can often be seen with a bucket hat or baseball cap on to deal with his thick hair, but otherwise wears no accessories.
Personality: What else can be said? Theo is an accident waiting to happen. He loves games, especially ones involving running, or jumping, or sliding, or any other physical activity (apart from swimming - he dislikes water.) He has way too much energy and is bouncing off the walls from the moment he wakes up until the moment he reluctantly goes to bed. He is not in any way shy, and other kids often find him approachable. After all, he's harmless - not. Theo has a severe urge to bite with his fangs which he must suppress around others, else he risks them turning part werewolf. He finds it very hard to come to terms with his powers and despite his parents helping him every step of the way, he has a lot to adjust to. Other than this, he is a playful preschooler who really does try his best, but sometimes it doesn't work. His loyalty is a characteristic that wins him friends- he will stick by others no matter what, especially if it means ganging up on enemies. His thoughts and feelings are quite simple and has developed a sense of basic judgement. He doesn't care for his classes and will play up when bored/when he dislikes a teacher. Nap time is also a problem for him, because he hates to sleep. However, he loves food, friends, playgrounds, everything messy and playtime.
Powers: Theo's powers are only just developing, and he lacks control over them.
Shapeshifting: Though he is currently stuck in a human-wolf hybrid form, Theo will eventually gain the ability to shift between his two forms. Pretty self explanatory, really. His parents predict that he will do this like most other werewolves - voluntarily by focusing hard, and involuntarily on each full moon. At the moment, he has never actually been in complete human or wolf form, not at birth and not on full moons.
Werewolf bite: A bite from Theo, if it does not receive immediate medical attention, (meaning within half an hour to an hour), can turn a human into a werewolf and any other species into a werewolf hybrid, though certain exceptions apply to some species/individuals. A bite from Theo may also severely injure particular vampires, but he is too weak to kill yet. To heal a werewolf bite, a skilled healer must find a way to remove the venom, either through magic, magical medicines or in extreme cases, amputation.
Species Abilities: Werewolves get some enhanced traits, such as:
Speed: A werewolf can run at around double the speed of a typical wolf, Theo doesn't use this often as he usually crashes.
Healing: Theo's body can recover from a broken bone in a day, and is immune to all human viruses and diseases.
Strength: Theo can lift around as much as an Olympic weightlifter. Not bad for a preschooler.
Senses: The boy can see in the dark, hear and smell as if he was a wolf, and feel, see in light and taste like a human due to his hybrid state. If/when he develops the ability to change at will his senses will change with him.
Limitations/ Weaknesses: Unfortunately, Theo has several limitations and weaknesses, hindering his abilities. They are:
Silver and wolfsbane: Both of these are like poison to him. If he consumes either he will be weakened and may pass out. If a weapon is made of silver or coated in wolfsbane a wound may be fatal.
Lack of control: At the moment, Theo has no control over his powers, though his species abilities function perfectly. He cannot shapeshift and cannot control who and when he bites others yet.
Vampires: A Vampire bite could be fatal to him, and kill him within the day. He also has a greater urge to bite Vampires.
History: Theo, being so young, has a limited history. Basically he was born a Werewolf to two werewolf parents who loved him. They moved to Starlight Academy when Theo was four from their small wolf pack when he started biting humans. As his parents were acquainted with the Academy Scouts, they asked if their son could attend school there. The scouts agreed that the islands would be best for the boy, and so they all moved in there. Now, Theo lives with his parents in a reasonably-sized house in the residential area of Manta Carlos. He attends preschool and is quite happy.
