All innocence is not lost, he thinks that he is doing a good deed by killing the people in his visions, that it is for the best for everyone and everything. This way he can return to his own self and do teen stuff, like doing sports for his new school.

This is something that may or may not because of his past as a pet. He can be caught licking his wounds, purr, rubb his head on someone if he likes them, scratching the back of his ear with his feet and so on. He likes to eat fish, doesn't like dogs or water.

Biography:
His name tells him and everyone else that he is Scottish, however he was born and taken care of by his owner in Chicago, Illinois. He knew what he was and was often seen in his regular form, his human cat form. It was just that he grew up as a pet and a happy one at that, though his master must have been an odd one to get a Neko for a pet, Loki didn't know any better. As he grew he became more and more curious about everything, he wanted to know everything and to try everything at least once. One of the things he wanted was to learn how to read and write, it took its time to learn all the letters and all of the words.
He would go up into the attic as he had done several times before to look at the illustrated pictures in a book he liked just for the interesting pictures of gore and death. This time however he knew how to read and read it with a passion, growing tired he found a blanket he could sleep on in his cat form and he had a vision. A dream really but he interpreted it as a vision, the dream showed him the contents of the book as if he had been there with the first reaper and then it showed him his owner. Loki believed the words in the book and believed he was destined to become the next reaper so the following morning he without hesitation killed the man he had called his owner, with no remorse and a big grin on his face.
This begun his life as a serial killer, or an assassin or reaper as he would like to be called, but he couldn't stay in one place for to long and needed to become better at killing cleanly. In his travels he eventually found his way to Manta Carlos. There like any other place he pretended to be a cat in the hopes that someone would take him in for the day, sometimes he stayed for more then a day. After some time he would stop having dreams and refused to kill people because then he would just be a common serial killer. He enrolled in the local school in hopes to find a next target, though he had to follow the rules, no vision means no killing.

The First Reaper
The God of Balance once enjoying keeping everything about Earth perfectly balanced, hence the name. The God of Balance was so involved with his work that he found intricate and elaborated schemes to avoid having to kill the creators pets, the laws of the Gods dictate that no god may bring harm or kill the inhabitants of earth. Eventually he grew tired of stepping on toes around them just to do what he loved and broke the law.
The moment the Human died was the moment he lost his position as a God and lost the power to manipulate Earth, lost the power to keep Earth balanced. Immortal still, he was thrown to Earth to mingle with the lower creatures, to atone for his crimes. He didn't see it like that, he was maybe not innocent but loosing most of his powers was wrong, so very wrong. He knew he needed vengeance and roamed Earth, learning its ways because with that knowledge he might find a way, and he did.
He still craved perfection of Earth, its balance had been his everything since its creation. The only way he knew how to shift the balance into a better, more perfect state was to alter the course of its inhabitant by killing the creators pets who hold imaginary powers and as an inhabitant of Earth he was now protected by the laws of gods. But it didn't last, the other gods where furious, not only could they not do anything against the former God of Balance but they also had to watch him do it. The other gods did however eventually hatch a plan, they would leak information to the mortals, informations that would end the former God of Balances plans. They where ready for punishment as it would be a lighter one then what the God of Balance had gotten, because it only served to further the creators intentions.
Humans learned how to seal away the former God of Balance, or the Reaper as he was called by the mortals. This meant that he would only be able to do as the creator had intended in the first place, to observe the mortals forever, until he truly regretted his decision. He never did change, however he would eventually grow strong enough to have a, in his perspective, a minor influence on the mortals and could continue his work through them.
