Appearance + + +
- Terrance stands at a height of about 5'7" with a lean build, and olive complexion. His cheeks do have a little more meat than how his body looks, giving him a slightly rounded face shape. It's no surprise Persephone tends to dote on him with his baby face and those pinchable cheeks.
On his head rests his short dark auburn hair, parted from the right with the left side of his fringe often clipped with barrettes. The expression in his eyes often make him look bored and uninterested, especially with his eyebrows hanging a little low. His irises are which were originally brown before he was chosen, is now golden in color but it turns silver when he accesses his Holy Item's power. He doesn't always have to wear his glasses but his astigmatism is bad enough for him to want to keep wearing it. His nose is particularly sharp.
He dresses pretty casually; on most days he'd wear comfortable clothes if he chooses. He wears uniforms as recommended by the dress code. Terrance carries himself with an air of dignity and confidence that only his Virtue siblings could break.

Personality + + +
- Terrance often appears calm and collected. His actions often mark him to be composed, well-behaved, and a little bit restrained. He sometimes sounds a little bossy and controlling but that's because he is. Often times, he thinks he's right about things. He tends to be the one to bark out the orders and keep people in line (but he fails at doing so.) He has an intense self-control that sometimes, people would think he's really just an uptight kid.
Patience is literally not his virtue: Terrance has a pretty short temper but his own virtue controls him from acting on it whether it's frustration, or anger. What he does is literally diverting his attention and simply walking away. Which is mostly what he does when things start getting out of hand with Persephone and Jaya.
In truth, Terrance had always had everyone's well-being in mind. He might be a little too controlling but he only wanted what was the best for people. Of course, that makes him pretty self-righteous and probably a little prideful to think he knows what's right but, let's be real, Humility isn't his virtue either. But he knows when he starts getting too far. He knows when it's enough and when it's time for him to back off.
Sure, he would be the kind of person who would stop you from buying that overly expensive pair of shoes you probably won't even get to use, or stop you from getting an extra meal, but he's also the kind who would stop you from getting into fights and try to calm you down before things get ugly, even if he ends up taking the punch. Terrance can get really attached to people to a point he could lose himself either from being possessive or being selfless.
Growing up from a rich family, Terrance seems to take some things for granted but when he recognizes something important, he takes it to heart. His current family is a mess, but he knows he doesn't even have anywhere else to go and maybe two years was enough for him to get attached to his weird Virtue-siblings. Terrance doesn't look like he has a hobby but if seeing him knit everyday counts then that's probably it. He seems to do a lot of other things so it's hard to mark down which are his actual hobbies. He seems to have a knack for dancing as well.

Powers + + +
- Gift of Virtue (Main) — As the embodiment of the virtue, Terrance possesses the Binds of Temperance given to him by an Angel. The item takes the form of an astral pendant hidden in his body around the stomach area. The holy item allows him to use the Power of Restraint.
a) Holy Binds : Terrance is able to project bindings from his own body. At the moment, the strongest material he can project is a strong weave of blessed fabric in the form of ribbons. Projecting the bindings is greatly dependent on his stamina and mana supply. Terrance is unable to produce any form of binds if he is too weak from exhaustion, hunger, or disorientation. The grip the bindings have is dependent on his strength and focus, similar to using and ordinary rope. His young age makes him weak, making it easy for a number of people to break free from his binds.
b) Latticework Barrier : Terrance can project a barrier made of pure energy using the binds as the barrier's frame in a crisscross pattern like lattice. It can be used to encase anyone like a prison, and he can also use it as a shield for defense. His barrier carries the same conditions as his bindings that it is based on his stamina, his mana, and strength. The barrier's solidity is mostly dependent on his focus and stamina while its size and strength is based on his own mental strength. Currently, he can only create one that's about the size of a coffin. If the barrier is broken, Terrance takes the brunt of the force and can potentially injure him depending on the force of the impact. Compared to the bindings, the barrier drains his mana more which is why he avoids using it unless in dire situations.
Mana Well (Latent) : Terrance's holy item grants him a supply of mana to be able to use it. It's limited based on his skill and because of his young age, Terrance can easily drain out his mana unless he learns to economize its use.

Biography + + +
- Terrance Nightingale was born the second child of a wealthy family in Italy. For most of his life, he lived life in the lap of luxury but no one can really say he had a good life. His mother was a workaholic and poured all her time for work. He rarely ever so her home and when she was, she always looked so tired and too distracted with work. His father was well balanced in that sense but he had a drinking problem. His older brother on the other hand was the kind who doesn't manage his time and ends up in front of whatever game console was available. He was always holed up in his room. He had a younger sister, whom he never spoke of, who had an eating problem.
It was the definition of dysfunctional and living the life of excess. Terrance often felt like he never belonged and opted to be with himself and disassociated with them. He never joined them at dinner when the table was overflowing with unhealthy food. He always decided to stay home during vacation unless it was an important holiday (like Christmas and New Year). He did all his school work with a rhythmic pace that matched perfectly with personal habits, he only played when he needed, and ate just right for a balanced diet. The young Terrance vowed he would live his life in a healthier, more balanced way.
He was fourteen when a dream came to him: an Angel spoke to him and told him to seek the Virtues and find a new home with them. The Angel gave her a pendant saying it was a token of his Virtue. Terrance was of course a little more than confused. He woke up from the dream with a pendant next to him; he realized he was given a quest.
To say he'd gone on that quest with his parents' permission would be an understatement. Terrance literally ran away from home leaving a note to not look for him (which may have also sounded like a suicide note). He was smart enough not to leave empty-handed. Terrance managed to survive with wit, sheer willpower, and self-control. Still, a fourteen-year-old wouldn't be able to survive that long with only a pendant to guide his way.
Terrance, used to his life of comfort didn't know the first thing about the streets of the city. Even though he'd taken with him some good amount of money to spend, some food to eat and warm clothes to get him through the night, Terrance--for the first time in his life--felt alone. Still, he refused to recognize this loneliness and decided to move forward, in search of the family the Angel promised. At one point, other urchin kids stole from him but because he wasn't used to this lifestyle, he couldn't fight back.
Nights in the streets grew colder, crueler as the days moved on. He had spent a good two months without a home, already wandering aimlessly when the angels of Humility and Diligence found him.
By the time he had turned fifteen, he was renamed Terrance Virtue.
