He brightens up the c-box and spends a lot of time in the icc. He's also very helpful, friendly, and good at getting involved in plots, especially with new members.

Spotlight Character: Lilian Blight

Why you think they deserve the spotlight:
Ashes has managed to write a character with no powers who is both interesting and relatable. I'm curious to see how Joseph's mother adapts to the island.

Spotlight Plot: Minx's kidnapping

Explain the plot in a paragraph for those who aren't familiar: Minx is going to be kidnapped by an incompetent eldritch being. Somehow.

Why you think it deserves the spotlight:
We've just started, but Strange's writing is hilarious. It really amuses me. I actually have no idea how Khlu is going to manage to kidnap Minx, but I'm having loads of fun trying to figure that out. This thread really cheers me up.

Spotlight Character: Kentaroth (Kit)

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Kit is a newcomer to Manta Carlos. He brings with him his younger brother, Ozzy, who he takes care of. By coming to Manta Carlos, they escape their tragic past in The End.
Kit’s app is full of details that help you imagine and understand the character. His journal adds an extra spice of characterization, and this thread drives home the emotion behind his story. @Penguin has designed a character who feels incredibly real, and I look forward to reading what comes next for this woeful demon.

Spotlight Plot: Klef and James

Explain the plot in a paragraph for those who aren't familiar: After meeting on the school rooftop, Klef and James gravitate towards each other and cultivate a heartwarming friendship. They share a similar love of adventure that draws them together. As the characters experience hardship and struggles (James making peace with the Shadow that lives in his body, and currently Klef coming to terms with her loss of sight), they find comfort in each other. Some romantic moments might even hint at something more for these friends.

Why you think it deserves the spotlight: Separately, both Klef and James are very interesting characters. When they come together, they create cute dialogue and wonderful angst. @Ballerina and @Saberteck write threads that are fluffy, sad, and uplifting. 10/10 would recommend.

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Nameless is back with a vengeance! It isn't often we see members who left returning with such vigor, but Nameless is doing a great job of it. They've got a cast of interesting characters, plenty of threads, and they're active in the chatbox as well!

Spotlight Character: Leucos "Luke' Brandwin

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: A new character, but it's always super refreshing to see a new member joining in with a character who is interesting and balanced. Luke is blessed with suck in that he can sense emotions... all emotions. Everyone's emotions. So while he's great in one on one, he effectively can't function in large groups, and he's emotionally exhausted from dealing with people.

The spotlight plot I was going to nominate was already nominated so I'm leaving it out just this once.

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Honestly, looking at Tory's cast, I love every character. They're fun and three-dimensional but what I admire most is how in character she remains in places like the ICC while still managing to be friendly and inviting to everyone. Good job Tory!

Spotlight Character: Cordelia Rosales

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: I really admire how Tory made Cordelia and jumped in the middle of all the Rosales+ plotting. I know how difficult it must have been and how overwhelming it must have been, but she stuck with it and now I couldn't imagine the family without her.

Spotlight Plot: Maybe TBA?
