Desmond onced looked human…

After being trapped in a cocoon, Desmond appearance made a very drastic change. Instead of the tired looking homeless guy we now have a somewhat pretty looking spooky and very mothy person.
His skin is now a grayish purple, his hair and current fluffy parts that are as soft as cotton and is lavender color. He has two purple antennas that are four inches long and he has very spooky eyes. He also now has clawed feet and hands apparently yay. Desmond also has a very pretty set of wings with a very unique spotted design which the pattern can look like very spooky eyes

He used to hate dressing up and being professional, he finds it a bit intimidating to his patients. He wants to be seen as the average guy who you will bump into at the local convenience store. He has matured and actually don't really care as long as at the end of the day he is comfortable.
He wears shorts, pajamas, loose fitted hoodies and basically anything a person would wear to sleep. Just basically the most casual comfortable looking clothing ever.

The warm, trusting, empathic, and caring individual.
He is very much a gentleman and gives people respect even to those that don’t really deserve it. Of course to those rude individuals he hides his dislikeness of them behind a smile and little snark comments. He has good people skills and a way with words, he speaks in a calm soft tone no matter the circumstances.
Then there is him actually not being so caring and nice. Secretly he judges people those who do things that seem bizarre and wild, people who just really don’t care and even the ones who just seem way too nice and innocent. He is actual garbage himself. He knows it. His….”old friends” knows it and so does a few dead individuals. Also lowkey a big asshole.
Quirks? Habits? Well yes he have some! He smokes. Like full on smokes weed. No joke here. He says weed is when he’s at his best and thus is actually a pretty damn good therapist when he is high. Yes he wants you to judge him! Another thing he does is eat a bunch of cup noodles. He stacks up on that unhealthy food. It is literally his lifeline. Of course he is an expert microwave cooker and known for making the best cup noodles. He add his own things to them!
Junk rat of sorts. He hoards spooky looking things from a jar of eyeballs to a glowing ruby skeleton! Also...pennies….he collects jars of em. He also loves his creepypasta.

HypnosisHe can hypnotize people! All they got to do is look into his glowing red eyes and thus they are under his control for at most an hour! The longer the exposure/ the more they are hypnotized by him, the longer it lasts. This allows him to make suggestions to their mind and even control their actions for the time being.
He has keywords and goes by the cliche hypnorizing process of “Once I say three you are now ____! Or Once I snap my fingers you will now forget about ____!” Super cheesy but extremely effective. He can actually permanently mind wipe someone or even bring back memories that are forgotten. To do so after initial hypnosis he needs to keep physical contact on the persons head to actually begin the process. This tends to last to an hour or to as he haves whoever forget from present day and work backwards and he has to keep that contact during the entire process. If there is something specific he wants them to forget/remember he can just place his hand on their head and simply tell them to forget the day or event.
For basic hypnosis commands, Des can give one command per individual at a time. At max he can only hypnotize five people at a time.​

Mothman Physiology:

He is a moth can do moth things like fly and see in the dark he is very much nocturnal. Also as the Mothman, he can easily communicate with moths and pretty much call on them.

Oh yeah he also can't die of age or illness. So he got that going for him too.

Actual living Mystery Incorporated. No joke! Got the van and animal mascot too, WHICH WAS A BEAR!! Anyway Desmond was and forever will be a nerd and extremely curious. Long before he came to the island at the start of 7th grade he and his fellow like minded friends started their very own mystery incorporation! Mostly they investigated all the creepy things in their small town. A lot of spooky things happened there and just stuff people couldn't explain. Like...people vanishing into thin air, Weird patterns showing up around town, and Strange sightings.
But just like Scooby-doo and his friends, their investigations ended up false/ not really supernatural related at all….until freshman year of highschool. That's when shit got real.
Desmond and gang ran into a serial killer, captured. A evil cult, busted, and a actual monster! Of course these things couldn't be told to anyone else without being laughed at or causing mass panic so the group did all they could to stop it. Their small town became a hub of supernatural events. Desmond led his group of friends ultimately to their deaths on that fateful summer….
He was possessed in a sense by the spirit of the Mothman and therefore became it. They discovered some secrets of supernatural and almost actually got closed to learning of Monta Carlos….then It, not him killed his friends...ate his girlfriend all of that. Actually he was being manipulated to doing this believing he was "saving them" the summer was a blur to him. What he did remember was, Friends died. His sister was super dead. Oh and the town he lived in completely disappeared off the face of the earth. Freak accidents and Possibly magic island.
He gave up on investigating. Isolated himself from the world as the memories and realisation of what he did to his friends and super dead sister and how he was complete monster.
Passing year he was found and brought to Monta Carlos where he finished high school (after dealing with drug problems) and actually dual majored in college in Psychology and Business Management. Desmond then became Psychotherapist and started his own business from out his van to help those who need it.

Though after a few incidents Desmond era of homelessness ended and he now works at the school as a Guidance Counselor
