School let out a couple hours ago, giving Klef the rest of the day to... Wait, what am I going to do? In a city bustling with magic, it never occurred to her that boredom would still exist. While her boredom may or may not have had a thing to do with the fact that she had yet to sign up for any extracurriculars, the lack of friends from transferring mid semester sure didn't help either.
The sky was a painted gray by the clouds. It looked like it could rain any second. Because she didn't feel like having to do her own laundry if she were to get rained on, she decided against spending the rest of her day exploring the woods like she usually did. Instead, she stayed on campus, surely there was something
Bored, she went up to the roof of one of the main buildings. She heard that the view from up there was spectacular.. The roof itself was slightly slanted, but not to the extent that one wrong step could lead to to her demise. Solar panels riddled the roof, on a dreary day like this one, they were nothing but mirrors. Klef took a brief second to look at the reflection, but her eyes glared harshly against the regular surface as usual. All she could see was the silhouette of her hoodie and two blazing eyes staring back at her.
Once she found a nice spot that was shaded by a solar panel, she sat close to the edge. They were right, whoever they were, she could see just about everything from up here. Her eyes glowed increasingly blue as her powers started to kick into high gear. To her, there was no better way to waste away a Friday than detecting auras. As boring as it sounded, Klef enjoyed people watching, it allowed her to pick up auras of all sorts of people and places. While the forest was more fun thanks to all the wildlife, seeing the students and faculty go about life wasn't too bad either. Up this high, she could see the entire school, even the city further away and the forest within the horizon. Everyone down below seemed to have it all figured out, they had cliques set up and things to do. Klef, on the other hand, had nothing better to do than just watch. It felt like an intrusion of privacy, like being an outsider looking in.
