Appearance Description: Elias is a tall, lanky teen. At 5’7”, he’s still growing, and weighs around 120 pounds. He’s a bit of a klutz, still getting used to his growing body. Luckily, he’s managed to evade the infamous threat of pimples and acne. His skin is as clear as can be, without any freckles, moles, or other blemishes. It’s also as pale as can be, no doubt because of days spent inside poring over books and online MMORPGs. His jet black hair is a stark contrast. It grows down to his shoulders, and it’s generally unkempt. Much to his chagrin, he typically gets mistaken for a female due to his long hair and thin build.
As for his sense of fashion, it’s generally lackluster. His closet consists of graphic tees and endless pairs of jeans. During colder times of the year, he’ll sport a grey jacket, probably the most diverse clothing item he owns. To complete the look, he owns one pair of beat-up sneakers.
Personality Description: Elias is a hard-working, straight A student. He spends a lot of his time studying alone. Because of this, he comes across as cold or snobbish to those who don’t know him well, giving him a fairly bad reputation. He would try to squash these rumors if not for the fact that he’s horribly shy and socially inadequate. Coupling these two detriments, it doesn’t make it easy for Elias to make friends. Those that do manage to get close to him will find that he’s actually quite carefree and easygoing. One strategy for making him come out of his quiet shell is mentioning anything nerdy. He’s willing to discuss Star Wars theories for days.
Powers: Elias possesses powers of Telekinesis, the ability to move objects through the air without touching them. He can move any object that is in his range of sight, but the object must be smaller than a standard notebook. In order to activate his abilities, Elias must utter a Latin incantation. After that, he draws upon his mental strength to use his powers. Certain variables that may hinder his abilities are hunger, tiredness, or stress. When his mental conditions are better, he can control larger objects for longer amounts of time.
Unfortunately for Elias, he isn’t very good at using his powers. Multiple times, he’s tried to levitate an object towards him and it has ended up smacking him on the head. He typically carries around a leather bound spell book since he frequently forgets the incantation needed to activate his powers.
Biography: Elias was born on July 28th on Manta Carlos Island. He was the second child born to Silas and Ofelia Galdre. His parents both came from long lines of great wizards. Growing up, he was regaled with stories about his ancestors and the magical feats they accomplished. It was these stories that inspired both him and his older sister to strengthen their magical abilities once they manifested themselves. The siblings anxiously awaited the day when they would find out what magic they had.
By the time Elias got his powers of telekinesis, his sister was already leagues ahead of him in skill level. Luckily, the years that his older sister spent practicing her magic, Elias spent studying it. He had absorbed himself in the study of spell casting. However, Elias quickly found out that he couldn’t surpass his sister by simply reading about magic. She was naturally gifted; He wasn’t. His parents tried to hide their disappointment, but it was obvious that they had expected him to be of a greater caliber. Regardless, Elias persevered. He, too, wanted to achieve great things and make his parents proud.
