''No'', Sebastian said, raising his hand into the air with the palm turned towards Adam as if he was asking him to stop before pointing his index finger towards him, his eyes shinning with amusement. ''That part was dumb'', he said, though his tone was light, obviously teasing Adam rather than criticising his actions. ''That part was, in fact, very dumb. Your story as a whole however'' , Sebastian said, waving his hand in Adam's direction as he did so, ''not dumb at all. No dumber than mind, at least'', he finished, shrugging his shoulders as he did so.

As Adam admitted he was interested in how man saw him, even in joke, Sebastian's eyes shone with even more amusement, as well as with some other emotion; something not quite predatory, but still similar and very intense. Had he not mate Hari and fallen in love, he thought to himself quietly, this would have been the point where he seduced the poor man in front of him into kissing him, dragging him out of his 'I am completely straight' shell way too soon, probably freaking him out enough for him never to actually come out of it and loosing a friend in the process. For he first time in forever, Sebastian felt guilty about how he had acted in high school.

He had , however, met Hari and was so in love with him it was gross. Thus, he simply snorted at Adam's words and grinned even wider. ''Only that close, huh?'', he said, looking at the distance between Adam's forefinger and his thumb. ''I must not be trying hard enough then'', he teased, taking time to actually look at Adam one more time.

''You are quite handsome though'', he said, making sure to include both Adam's height and build into his judgement, as well as his hair and eyes. The scar he didn't even have to think about-it did, as he said, give the man in front of him a certain edge. ''That coming from someone who is completely taken, however. You'll have to find somebody single to give you more thought out compliments'', Sebastian finished, leaning back into the couch. ''As far as my expertise goes, you may come to me and any time of day and night, though it is probably for the best you knock and wait for a few moments first. Just to avoid any awkward situations'', he said, barely holding th laughter back from his tone.

''Adam'', Sebastian said then as the man mentioned some turning into a dragon, ''even I know that there is a teacher on the staff who is a dragon, and I have barely stepped three feet outside my room'', he said, waiting to see what kind of reaction that would bring as much as his previous teasing words.

"If you say so," Adam said with another shrug. He grinned though as Sebastian agreed with that. Afterwards, he saw Sebastian's gaze on him and actually felt a little awkward. Not a lot of people have given him that sort of stare. Actually, only two people so far have done that and Adam had more or less forgotten their names already. He looked away awkwardly, only glancing back when the other teased back.

The awkwardness doubled and his blush returned when Sebastian complimented him. It's not the first time that he's received any, but it is with his face looking like a chainsaw almost ripped through it. And so Sebastian's compliment would more likely stick to mind. Adam felt the corners of his lips tug upwards. Even though Sebastian wasn't particularly showing interest in him romantically and vice versa, and they were more likely aiming to be just friends than anything else, it was good to hear that Adam could still be considered handsome.

He swallowed when the other implied that things might be happening in his room during the times Adam may be coming by. Or he was supposed to swallow. Adam just did it wrong and the stuff got caught in his throat so he ended up coughing, a fist against his lips as he turned away. If Sebastian didn't stop teasing, Adam didn't know if he'd melt into a puddle from all the heat in his cheeks or if he'll end up coughing like this every few minutes. He guessed he'd better get used to Sebastian's teasing soon if he didn't want either of that happening by the end of the day.

Adam froze when he heard about the dragon teacher. In a second, he turned to Sebastian with wide eyes and a hanging jaw. "Shut. Up," he said with disbelief and almost childish zeal. "You're kidding.... You're not." He said after seeing Sebastian's reaction, and he felt like he was soaring. In a moment, he burst with excitement. "That is so cool! Do you know how cool that is?! This is like... Xavier's Academy only a whole helluva lot better!"

And then he started ranting about Xavier and his X-men and about how he's not much of a Marvel fan but was now probably going to start looking into its comics. He paused before he looked at Sebastian again. "Is there an ice dude here? A fire dude? Oh! Is there anybody who can like control the weather and stuff?!"

Sebastian almost burst out laughing yet again when he saw that Adam had actually choked on air simply because of that little bit of teasing. ''Breath, my friend'', Sebastian said, reaching out to pat Adam on the back as he coughed. ''The thought of two guys having sex can't be so repulsive to you that you would actually want to die just so you could avoid it, right?'', he teased even more, for it was somehow endearing, really, all the little and not so little ways in which Adam reacted to things which to Sebastian at this point were as natural as breathing.

Breathing which Adam himself wasn't doing very naturally right now, he thought, actually bursting out in laughter this time, no amount of lip biting and tongue holding being able to hold the onslaught in.

''Sorry for laughing'', he said after he was left breathless by the attack but had actually stopped laughing. ''It's just... The ways in which you react... They are quite endearing'', he said, hoping that Adam wouldn't actually mind his words and gestures. He had seen a beginning of the smile somewhere there, before the swallowed air had gone into the wrong pipe, so he didn't think too much of it.

And then suddenly Adam wasn't a coughing mess any more, looking instead at him with wide eyes and taking a mile a minute about things Sebastian wouldn't even begin to comprehend. ''I actually have no idea what you have just said'', Sebastian looked at Adam, his eyebrows raised in amusement because of his enthusiasm. He could guess though that it was something from the comic books Adam was asking about earlier. Sebastian himself has never read comic books, or kept up with the popular threads all that much, really. When he read, he read books, some serious, some not, some for school, but rarely, but books all the same. Comics were something he knew about vaguely but had never interested him enough to try found out more. Adam though, seemed to live and breathe the stuff. Quite literally now that he was hear at the Academy apparently.

''But I am not joking, there really is a dragon teacher on the staff. He mostly teaches younger kids though from what I understand'', it had been an overheard conversation that lead him to that information, from one of those times Hari would drag him down to the student kitchen to eat the meal he cooked. ''And if you look far and long enough I am sure you can find just about any type of power here. With all this weird gathered on the Island the probability of everything you have ever dreamed of existing is quite high actually.'' Sebastian was never much interested in match, though he could do it quite well once he applied himself, but even he knew that much without thinking.

By the end of his coughing fit, Adam felt Sebastian's hand on his back and heard even more teases. "Shut up, you're making it worse," he said through another coughing fit, though this time it was all pretense. He hid his smile behind his fist before he sighed and gave the other a look when his reactions were called endearing.

He shook his head. "Now you're just making fun of me," he said through an intentional pout, complete with resting his chin on his hand and tipping his head away from Sebastian's direction. He acted all sulky, but he was simply teasing Sebastian as Sebastian was teasing him. "I figured you were mean from the first time I saw you... Didn't expect you to be this mean," he muttered.

And after he was told that he could find everyone with probably every available power on this island, he was absolutely ecstatic. The man was practically vibrating with glee. "I wanna meet all of them," he said, more to himself. His schedule was mostly free. He still had to go to Mr. Trinidad's lessons despite the teacher's strict way of teaching as well as his straightforwardness, but that couldn't be helped. Suddenly he had a thought.

"Hey, what's Hari's powers?" he asked. What if Sebastian's boyfriend was the Iceman of this place? Or the Rogue? Maybe the Cyclops? Or... well, he didn't know many characters in Marvel except for the ones they've shown in the movies and the more mainstream ones out of the comics. Or what if Hari had Loki abilities? Maybe Thor, without Mjolnir? Adam was excited to know just about everybody else's abilities now. Some of those he'd met didn't quite fit the characters' abilities in the comics, but he never expected anybody to. That was made up, this was real, and nobody could have thought that somebody's power would be so different from what they imagined.

Like Sebastian here for example. Poison Ivy and Catwoman were imagined to be master sexual inducers, but they had kinky sides to their powers like being able to grow plants or extreme acrobatic skills and leather. Sebastian was just like any normal dude who had the seduction thing going on with him and he was gay. Now, that's something nobody could have seen coming.

''Am I?'', Sebastian asked innocently, his bright blue eyes growing wide in apparent surprise. The giant amused smile gave him away however almost instantly despite his face looking almost like an angels when he did so. ''Come on, come on, deep breaths'', he said, still tapping his hand slowly against Adam's back even though at this point it was quite obvious that the cough have grown fake.

''I am always making fun of people'', Sebastian said, as Adam put a very fake pout on his face. ''It's just who I am'', he continued, almost laughing again. A man that big, with a scar on his face, should just not pout. ''And sorry to disappoint you but I am probably a lot meaner than you think'', he said openly, almost as if he were proud of it, and usually he would be. He was starting to get some second thoughts about his selfish behaviour though.

''Hold your horses, tiger'', he said then, huffing softly as Adam all but started to vibrate with excited energy at the thought of meeting people. ''You'll probably get to know more people than you want in your time here, so take it easy. You probably haven't even started classes yet'', he just assumed so, though, but Adam had the feeling of someone newly arrived, though Sebastian didn't know how exactly he recognised that feeling, and the classes had been let off early in the summer.

At the question of Hari's powers Sebastian suddenly found himself at loss, not sure how to explain what his boyfriend could do without it sounding too strange to handle even for someone apparently accepting of strange. ''Hari is complicated'', he said in the end, dragging his fingers through his hair and looking away from Adam for a moment. ''None of that you have just mentioned though, so you can deflate the Excited Balloon. You can ask him more in person when you meet him.'' That was the safest bet he guessed. There was no way Adam could have anything against Hari simply based on his powers after actually meeting him in person.

Adam finally let off his fake coughing and sat up. He chuckled as he also released the pout. His little trick didn't work on Sebastian for two probable reasons: Either Sebastian was as mean as he claimed to be so pouts and sulking just didn't work on him, or Adam was already a grown man with that big scar on his face and it didn't suit him at all. Or both. Adam was having such a good time that he felt like everything was as it was before the incident when he had gotten his powers and gotten burned. Everything had simply been simpler then and brighter. After the incident, a lot of things had changed and his friends had simply been more distant and too sympathetic.

Sebastian had erased all that and Adam was pulled into a momentary illusion that everything's as it had been. No burns, no scars, no powers. The realization make him miss his old life and his old friends. Adam pushed the thoughts away however and decided that it was best not to dwell too much on it. Past is past. Present is present. They're different.

"Well, I did just move here so I guess I wouldn't know that many people yet, and like I said, I'm just starting freshman year," Adam said with another shrug. "I did get to meet a few guys already and they seem like nice people so far. Nicer than you anyway." He was only teasing, of course.

He was intrigued about Hari's powers now. The way Sebastian put it, it was put in a mysterious light. "You're leaving me hanging," he said with another pout. He was aware of his scar now, and he knew it probably looked ridiculous on him, but he didn't care anymore. Nothing Sebastian hasn't seen before now anyway. "But okay. Guess I'll have to wait."

''You'll meet them. Give it time'', Sebastian said, giving Adam a small smile, his attitude still somewhat subdued and not as energetic as before as thinking about Hari's powers made him thing about how exactly he had found out that his boyfriend's powers have grown and that was a very raw memory still.

''Well that's no surprise'', he said then as Adam accused him of being meaner than some other guy's he'd met. ''Ninety percent of the people is nicer than me'', he huffed, as if he were proud of the fact. ''The question is thus...'', he said, raising his hand dramatically from where it was yet again picking at his wrist, ''Were they more handsome than me? Because that's hard to find, you know. Almost impossible one might say.'' If that one was him, mostly, but other people called him beautiful plenty.

''I have to keep the mystery going somehow, boy!'', he laughed, his laughed though not as loud and light as it was before. ''Besides, you'll find out soon'', he said, turning towards the TV to check the time. Hari should be coming back any minute now, right? It has been a few hours at least since he last looked at the clock?

Wrong. The news sadly announced that it had only been somewhere around 45 minutes since he had started talking to Adam. Hari still had hours to go before returning back from his club. Shift. Whatever it was that he was doing.

''Well, soon-ish'', he said, suddenly in the state of utter despair. ''I think he is supposed to be back around 9? Maybe? I'm not sure. Why can't time pass faster?'', Sebastian complained, no different than a small child getting bored in class and praying for the clock to suddenly move faster just because of that. ''I'm going to die from neglect'', he muttered into the cough pillow where his face had landed after he had allowed his body to simply fall forward from despair.

Sorry, my tired brain is mushy, and than can probably be seen in the last two or three posts

Adam laughed upon hearing Sebastian's dramatic question. "So it's all down to nice but plain-looking to mean but handsome, huh?" he replied once he reined in his laughter. He shook his head a bit at that. "Do we have anything in between? Can I be that person in between?" He'll admit not a lot of people found his scarred face beautiful or particularly plain-looking, but he wasn't too nice or too mean either. Or so he likes to think. He actually belongs at the nicest guy end of the spectrum, without counting looks, of course.

At the mention of the time, Adam looked at the clock in the lounge. They'd be waiting for a few more hours before Hari returns. He wondered how long Sebastian has been here if he was already this bored. Adam was amused by Sebastian's childish whining and chuckled at his overly dramatic words. "Don't you have anything to do while you're waiting?" he asked. "Like maybe chores?"

He couldn't say requirements. School hasn't started for them yet. Or maybe that was just Adam since he just got here. He's pretty sure classes were offered all year round though. "Or how about we take a walk? Sitting here all day can't possibly be good for your health," he offered. "I'll treat you something and by the end of our walk, you can treat me something back. Hows that? Better than sitting here doing nothing." Also, they could get some air that way and they could talk about whatever they saw outside.

In here, they had limited things to talk about if it came down to what could be seen in the lounge. Granted, there was a television set in the other side of the room, but they'll still be just sitting down doing nothing for the most part. "It'll be good to stretch your legs," he added.

That is okay. I actually didn't notice a thing at all xD Take your time getting your head unmushified... or something like that = u =

''No'', Sebastian said, his voice still muffled as his mouth was still full of couch, which tasted gross and has had so many people sit on it was definitely unsanitary to eat it. Or put your mouth anywhere near it, really, he realised, prompting himself on his hands again, hair falling over his eyes as he looked at Adam and said. ''This is the world of extremes!''

Having said that, Sebastian prompted himself completely up yet again, frowning at his hair as he did so. He didn't mind it being messy but this was taking it too much, he thought as he combed it with is fingers, untying the knots and making it look presentable once more.

''Also, no yet again'', he said as he did so, his eyes and hands focused on his hair for now as he spoke. ''I've got exactly nothing to do.'' And for once, this was true. His classes having been let out and with no summer homework like he had in high school he was free from the burdens of school. Chores around the room got done by themselves (or more likely by Hari) and the room was clear right now anyway. So no, he didn't have anything to do besides sit around and mope.

''Also also, I'm not a dog, you don't need to take me on walks and offer me treats to keep me from self destructing'', he said, huffing one his hair was once again perfectly in place. He didn't want to go for a walk, not really, but the idea of food (or at least the assumed that was what Adam meant by treating him something, which, yeah, he wasn't thinking about), did sound good. Better, indeed than sitting here doing nothing.

''We can, however, go out to eat something'', he said, jumping on his feet. ''Though it will take us ages to get to the city on foot.''

Another chuckled was prompted from Adam's lips again at Sebastian's dramatics. And it's either Sebastian's really diligent to get everything he has to do done already, or he's really lazy that he doesn't even plan on doing them. Adam watched the other as he rejected his offer and only came to repeat it in his own words. "Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night," Adam said, muttering the second bit mostly to himself.

''Though it will take us ages to get to the city on foot.''

He got up from the couch and stretched a little before he led the way to the door. "Well, I don't exactly have a car and I'm guessing you don't either," he replied. He thought for a moment how else they could get there and had an idea. He turned back to looked at Sebastian eagerly with a huge grin splitting his face. "Hey, I know. How about I superspeed us to town?"

It wouldn't be hard since he has super strength and he wanted to see how fast he'll go with a 'passenger'. And even if he didn't have super strength, Sebastian looked fairly easy to carry for a guy Adam's size. And it'll be fun. He's always wanted to share with someone the wonders of his powers.

"It's going to be really cool, I swear," Adam promised excitedly. "You probably won't realize we're there already, but it's going to be awesome."
