APPEARANCE
In his human form, Kain sports spiky, black hair with braided tail protruding from the nape area and reaching his lower back. He also has maroon eyes. His hair changes color during the times he experiences extremely strong emotions, as do his eyes though their color change is of a less obvious hue. He has sharp features all over: a high, sharp nose, angular chin, prominent jaw and thin but angled brows. He stands at 6 feet tall and has a well-formed musculature. His closet is full of leather jackets, leather pants, rough old denim jeans and biker's boots. And then tight shirts and wife beaters. He can dress up nicely if he wants and if the situation calls for it (dances or dates).
In his daemon form, Kain's skin becomes a darker shade, almost a pale coffee brown. His hair grows longer, the short spikes growing well past his collarbone. The base of the braided tail will disappear, though its end will not and it will transform from hair into muscle, bone and a thin layer of dark fur, a tail. It has an arrowhead-like shape at the end, covered with a thicker layer of hair. He is able to grow wings if he chooses. And when they do grow, they will emerge as a layer of skin separating from his back and will then thicken just enough to enable him flight. They'll greatly resemble that of a bat's wings. Curved horns will grow from behind his ears, curve towards the front and then backwards. His sclera will turn to a yellowish shade and his teeth and nails will become remarkably sharper and longer. Otherwise, the rest of his body will remain the same. If he chooses, he could transform only partially--only his nails and teeth might grow or only his skin or eyes might change color.
PERSONALITY
Kain may seem like a cool dude to hang with at first, but he's a liar and he likes playing with anyone's head. It doesn't help that he'll do just about anything to get what he wants, Anything and Everything. He's called a Greed Daemon for exactly that reason.
Kain can be selfish and possessive about the people around him. He'll keep a watchful eye on them and he'll be visiting the dreams of anyone and everyone who he deems a threat. Not that there are a lot of people to be looking out for.
During his worse days, Kain is often sadistic and won't care about who he is playing with, so long as he is satisfied or kept entertained. Of course, he knows who not to mess with. No matter how fun some things may seem, there are just people who aren't worth the trouble.
Underneath all the natural tendencies to do evil, Kain's just another brokenhearted man looking for the one he once and would always love. And even though he may not be aware of it, he's afraid that when he does find that soul, history will just do a repeat performance and their hearts will just break into even tinier pieces all over again.
POWERS
*Illusion Manipulation
Kain has the power create illusions to deceive his targets via their senses. Being a daemon for so long, he is adept at seeing what people want and making them think he has what they want. The limit to his illusions may last a lifetime for one mere mortal, or may work on a stadium full of people for a few hours. The power he consumes depends also on how realistic his illusions are. If, for example, he is to duplicate a person and have him walk around town and tell some interesting stories, then it's no trouble. However if Kain wants to make a 100-foot-tall titan appear right outside the city gates, complete with a (literally) steaming hot body and an irresistible grin, that might take some effort.
*Emotion/Empathic Manipulation/Pathokinesis
Although it isn't as easy as it looks, Kain has the ability to decrease or increase the intensity of a person's emotion so long as there is stimuli to provoke or weaken it. He is also able to channel the emotion/mood of a source into a receiver. He cannot channel weak emotions, however. He must first increase their intensity. Very strong emotions are easily channeled.
It must be noted that said emotions he is able to affect are only negative emotions or those that are rooted from wrongdoings (whether they be intentional or otherwise). For example, a man who only watches a man trip and embarrass himself in front of a crowd and feels slightly gleeful can become a target. His glee may be increased and channeled to other passers by.
*Empathy (Passive)
The reason why daemons and angels are tasked to guide mortals (to the good path or to the bad) is because they have the power to fully interpret and replicate the emotions, moods, and temperaments of others. The only difference is that daemons are less inclined to help and are more inclined to use those emotions against the mortals and angels, and to obtain what they want.

BIOGRAPHY
After the first Angels were thrown out of Heaven and named Daemons/Demons, Lucifer, First Daemon and the Daemon Prince of Lust, converted and created many, many more like him. Skip to a few decades later and Mammon, Daemon Prince of Greed, spawned many more in his own name so that he may claim all those other things his brothers have not. Gier was one of them, though he prefers to be called Kain most of the time.
Kain's past had been a roller coaster to hell and back and back and back. He'd been a pretty safe player for the first few millennia of his life, doing what he's made to do as a daemon. He stole, lied, murdered, raped, and have caused millions more to do the same, both fellow daemons and mortals.
After more than a boring thousand years, he met a lonely human meant to die an early life. He decided then, "Eh, why not let him taste sin before he's delivered to Death?" Needless to say, Kain's plan backfired and he fell in love with the mortal. In the time they've been together, they were happy. And they made a promise: That his mortal lover should die in his arms. But because of his selfish daemon brother, Kain never got to keep his promise.
Centuries later, he met his lover again. The catch was that his lover was now turned into an angel and has lost all the memories of their love. It didn't matter at the time because Kain chose to forget about it, too. It had been too painful for him. During that era, war was constantly being waged between mortals as well as between daemons and angels. One of the battles the daemons won was when Kain successfully assassinated a king who would have made the land peaceful with his wisdom. Not long after, Kain found the angel who he knew was tasked to protect that king. What he didn't know is that the angel was the same person he'd fallen in love with.
History did a second take on them. Kain, the demon who took the angel for entertainment, quickly fell in love again, as did his angel. Together, they remembered. Unbeknownst to them, Fate had cruelly planned for them to part once more once the Great War took place.
After he lost his beloved mortal-turned-angel lover twice, Kain grew angry and resentful. What was once a fairly tame daemon became a vicious beast, tempting the mortals with greed enough to destroy the beautiful earth. Once his rage had calmed, he mourned. After he mourned, he made a vow.
Never again was he to fall in love with a mortal, much less with an angel.
Time blurred and he found himself one day looking over a mortal's shoulder to read a curious letter. He was bored and he thought then, "Manta Carlos... looks like the perfect place for some entertainment."
ADDITIONAL INFO
- Some daemons refer to his as Mammon because he's a Greed Daemon. In truth, he is one of those that the real Mammon, Daemon Prince of Greed, have spawned together with Asmodeus, Daemon Prince of Lust. You could say they're his dads. Not that it matters when you're a Daemon.
- He is horny as hell. Also, he is kinky as hell.
- He swings
