Save me from myself, don't let me drown

Name: Raja Brauchart
Age: 17
Birthday: April 2nd
Gender: Female
Category: Vilain (unintentional), Student
Class: High School
Grade: senior

Appearance Description:

What doesn't kill you, makes you wish you were dead

Raja's beauty's came from her mother, if someone were to put a picture of her and her mother sided by side they wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Her hair hands straight down to the middle of her back a dark brown with light brown streaks that are only visible sun. There are small little freckles dotting her nose though they are to see. It’s possible that it comes from her dad’s side but it’s really known to her if it does (it does). She stands at an impressive five foot six, and she never slouches or makes herself seem small. Her clothes are form fitting, and attract attention to her, even if she doesn’t acknowledge the attention. Her lips are full, pouty and have the tendency to curl up into the most vicious smirk when she talks. Her eyes are the most deceiving part of body. They look like brown globes of warmth, like a light in the distances on a cold winter’s night but they are liars. Her smile never quite reaches her eyes, but that’s okay because her eyes are so warm it’s not easily noticeable.

Raja has lithe build, very flexible and athletic. From years of track, parkour, boxing, and various martial arts she’s built up the right amount of muscles but in the right places. She somehow manages to still come off as dainty and weak. She could very well pass a some hot chick who goes to the gym three twice a week and not someone how has fight training. Her nails are perfectly straightened and sharpened at the end to the point where they could scratch easily. As an added bonus she adds nail hardener to hr nail to make them less likely to break if she were to scratch some face up. Raja has no distinguishing marks on her body, no tattoos, piercings, or birthmarks.

Personality Description:

Who will fix me now, dive in when I'm down

Raja is like a double edge sword, she’s the type of person that will tear you to pieces and then lick your wounds. She never learned to love and she doesn’t understand emotions. A couple therapist have said that she suffers from Alexithymia other’s say she’s a Sociopath and Raja...well she really just doesn’t know. All she knows is that she doesn’t feel the way she should, she doesn’t feel disappointment, fear, shock, pain, love, care...she just drifts through life wishing she could be way different than she. If there was a definite description of Raja’s personality it would be...beautifully..twisted.

Beautifully,

She wants to be a good person, she wants the two story house with the picket fence, and two point five children. She wants the American dream so many crooks and criminals sought after. She wanted to be the type of person who gives all their money to charity and doesn’t care when their car gets repossessed they’re still in church the next day and giving money to the poor fools on the corner. She wants to know where she come froms, she wants to know why she has the powers she does and why she’s always alone. As much as she smiles and pretends that everything is okay...she really wants things to be okay. SHe’s sick of pretending to be okay, that things will get better in the morning because she really wants them to get better.

What doesn't destroy you, leaves you broken instead

Twisted,

Raja knows it will never happen, as much as tries to care she knows it’s all faked. She knows that she’s going through the motions of faking the indicators, the posture and the behaviors she observed over the years. She doesn’t remember being held, or rocked to sleep during the nights her nightmares became too much. She doesn’t remember the feel of her mother’s hand in hers as they crossed the street together so how is she supposed to recognize the loving touch of someone else? She was never taught how to say sorry and mean it, she was never taught how to say I love you and mean so how is she supposed to know how to actually mean the words she said? All she knew was that he mom was dad and her father wouldn't be too bothered to stick around. Hell if the people who brought her into the world didn’t stick around how can a stranger? How can she? If she’s a product of them...isn’t just destined to leave like they did? What’s the point in caring if you know that all you’ll ever be is what your parents were before you.

What doesn't destroy you, leaves you broken instead

Beautifully Twisted,

Raja tries to care, she smiles broken smiles and tries to help people she sees in trouble. SHe does all her homework, she doesn’t steal from children. She helps old ladies cross the street and she volunteers at homeless shelters and soup kitchens. She has a job and she does it well, always picking up the slack from the employees who really don’t have to work and are just doing it to impress their parents. Then days, weeks, pass and she somehow ends looking at the someone else in the mirror, wondering who it was that she had unknowingly touched. She walks down the street trying to turn back into herself and then, the person she touched looks at her with distrust...with disgust and a fight happens. Raja always wins fights, she feels horrible afterwards but she can’t help. It always happens, good, change, fight, spiral, drinking and hangovers. Then she tries again, tries to stay on the straight path but she always falls off in the fame way, over and over again no matter how many different turns she takes. Maybe if she had someone that cared, it would teach her how to care. For now all her problems are solved with the barrel of bottle.

Powers:

Hold my breath and let it bury me

Shapeshifting and vocal mimicry - Raja is able to change into any person as long as she's come into contact with them some how. She needs a living Dna sample and then she able to completely turn into them at will. She has to remain in contact long to absorb the Dna, sometime changing in front of the person's very eyes and sometimes just standing there trying to get them to talk. She has to hear someone's voice to copy it. For example if someone was able to bring her a freshly killed person and an audio recording of their voice she could impersonate them for long periods of time for as long ash wanted, however a person that's been dead for over twenty-four hours she'd be unable to shift into them, she could however copy their voice. Right now at her level of power, she can only stay in another form for up two three hours, and she has problems shifting back into her own form. Even then sometimes things like hair color or eye color stay with her, the same for voices, sometimes she messes up the voice mimicry if she's been using the same voice for more than an hour without stopping.

And I can't take

Power stealing through killing- She has the ability take someone's power by killing them. Raja's ability became Active when she was five and she unknowingly stole her mother's power killing her. Her power manifested as a life force draining thus giving her the ability to take her mother's power through murder, however it was only a one time thing. She is able to steal One active power and one passive power. If she were to kill again unless the power is passive she would lose her mother's power and it would replaced with whatever powers she's stolen from the new person. She can kill without taking a power but it would take practice, though it has happened unintentionally. Raja must learn how to use each power by herself as the knowledge doesn't pass.

Biography:

One more moment of this silence, the loneliness is haunting me

Raja was born in France, her mother was named Clarissa Brauchart and she loved foreign names. However Clarissa was involved in a crime ring, she stole, killed, cheated and did just about anything she could chasing after the “American Dream” along the way she met leo and had a kid named her Raja. She had gotten out of the life a couple of years prior to Raja’s conceptions. She tracked down Leo and told him, and they attempted to live a normal life but Leo wasn’t the type of person that could just escape so he left Clarissa alone, with her child with a strange name. Raja doesn’t remember anything of her father, his sent, the sound of his voice...nothing. The same could be said about her mother but that’s because she’s repressed the memories. All the memories of her mother are locked away because of what she had did. Five days after her fifth birthday she had came into her father’s family legacy.

Clarissa didn’t know what to expect, and all Raja could see was the life slowly fading away from her mother as her life force was sucked into Raja. She didn’t know what was happening but she felt this weird tingly feeling for a few days and her mom was growing weaker. She knew something was wrong so she called the authorities, eventually things were filled out, she was bounced around and she was left at the island. She had no idea what to, she had nightmares...the scene of her mother's lifeless body surrounded by blood. She truly believed that someone had murdered her mother. Her mind had fabricated a story to protect her from the truth and what a horrible truth it was.

Got a hole in my soul growing deeper and deeper

Raja pretty much grew up alone, she realized that she was a shapeshifter when she was eight. Not because it was dormant but because she was shied away from human contact, she didn’t want to be touched. She didn’t understand why people hugged...it was weird..the little girl who sat across from her held her hand because they were partnering up for a field trip somewhere on the island. Five minutes later she was staring at the girl like she was looking into a mirror. Of course the girl thought she was making fun of her. Raja had gotten a time out and she vowed not to touch another person. However things didn’t exactly turn out that way so Raja started wearing gloves hoping that no one would notice. By the time she was twelve she had learned that her gift while fun for her wasn’t fun for other people. She got into a lot of fights because sometimes she couldn’t control it, and she had the nasty habit of just acting like she did it on purpose.

She amused herself by changing into other people, after all she wanted to be anyone but herself. She got good grades in all her classes and tried to figure out who she was and where she came from. Then when she was fifteen she was given a debit card connected to an account and told that someone was sending money for ten years. It really pissed her off enough to send her off the deep end. She was just angry...tired of not knowing where she came from, or who her parents were. Who the hell were they to just decided that all she needed was money...it taught her that nothing was more important than money...nothing.

She went to a party got hammered, started hanging with the wrong crowd got into fights and learned how to drive. She felt horrible, she didn’t want to be a trouble kid, she wanted to be someone that her parents could be proud as if that would somehow make them come back. She managed to get a job, nothing too spectacular just being a waitress at a little coffee shop. She was trying to be a good person, a person that someone might want to stick around for. Unfortunately that didn’t happen, she still managed to have moments where she decided that fighting was just better than trying to be good.
