Eyeing the cold December ground before him suspiciously, Monday used his umbrella to prod the sidewalk, pavement, and ground before him, sweeping the snow before him to scatter it, not allowing any piles to stand in the path as he walked quickly up the lane that lead to the Academy, using little hops, skips and jumps as he moved.

Finally, making it inside the main doors, he looked around cautiously for any water puddled on the floor, starting from his feet, slowly outwards around him in equal distance. Paranoid, and with any good reason, of any water left sitting to puddle on the floor from some student coming in from the snow.

Seeing it was clear and safe to cross the foyer, Monday unbuttoned his suit jacket, and looked to the right, trying to remember in which direction was Sunday's classroom. 'Left or right?' he thought, purposefully looking in both directions as he fidgeted and ran a hand throw his tawny coloured hair.

"Left is best," Monday murmured with a hint of a smile as he turned right, stopped, realised his mistake, and then spun on his heal and turned to the left, making his way quickly down the hall, suddenly remembering where her classroom was and making a beeline for it.

Sunday

There were few people who actually made it past the first few weeks of Sunday's classes, not because the coursework was hard but because it was so boring. The first week was purely practicals of how to draw perfect circles and lines so straight they could be used as rulers. The second week was when she took the class outside -rain or shine- and forced them to identify every part of the world they saw. And didn't see. Everything that existed, in fact, including the smell of garbage on the breeze or the robin's morning song. This would go on for all four hours of Sunday's class, three times a week. Most people dropped out halfway through the second week.

As a result, there actually wasn't much in the way of paperwork that Sunday had left to do. Grading a few homework assignments here, a project or a practical there -but to be honest, her entire class was a practical- and her work was done.

Just as she was preparing to leave, a familiar face popped in through her door, framed by the candlelight she kept lining the room and desks. "Is something the matter, Monday?"

Glancing around first to see if the classroom was empty or if he was interrupting, Monday then stepped into the dimly lighted room, smiling when she addressed him.

"No, not unless you call cold, bothersome slushie piles of half-melted snow everywhere a matter, no, not really." he started, then stopped, fidgetting with his pocket watch.

"Actually," here he grinned sheepishly. It was rather obvious that something was up since Monday would not normally have braved the off-chance of stepping in a puddle somewhere if it had not been, at least, somewhat important. Normally he'd have just sent an errand boy with a message.

"I was wondering if you might be able to enchant something for me?" he asked as he stroked his beard.

Sunday

Honestly, it was a bit of a surprise to see Monday around. He was normally so wary of the outside world that this was only the second time Sunday had seen him in person. The first time had been when the seven of them had gathered together for their ill-advised summoning session.

"That depends largely on what you would like enchanted and how so," Sunday said. She eyed the pocket watch he was fiddling with. "It might take some time if you want one of the more powerful enchantments."

"Right," he said with a nod, "Well, I was hoping you might be able to enchant my pocket watch," he explained. The pocket watch had been his father's. His mother had given it to him shortly before she died. Told him his father would have wanted him to have it when he came of age.

"I was hoping you might be able to make it repel any water around me?" he added, a hopeful note in his tone.

Sunday

She looked at the pocket watch for a few moments before looking at Monday. "I believe I could do so with adequate time given," she said. "I would need some matter from you specifically if you want it to be keyed to you, however." The other ingredients, she suspected, might include things such as breath of an air elemental, several magical oils, and perhaps some dragon scales.

Monday frowned slightly at this first, and then nodded slowly, "Okay.. What type of matter are we talking about though?" he asked as he looked at Sunday. "Hair? Blood? or something else?"

"Blood," Monday piped up without any hesitation, "I want the enchantment to take hold as strongly and best as possible," he told her. "If blood is better than hair, you can have as much as you need." Monday stated as he ran a hand through his hair anxiously.

"I am tired of being cooped up, Sunday. I want to go outside. I want to go for a walk without worrying all the time if there's a pool of water under a newspaper or a small puddle under a pile of leaves," he told the other witch, a hint of desperation in his voice. He was going stir crazy. He needed and wanted to get out and do normal stuff like others around him.
