The three of them stood in the snow in front of a set of duplexes, and several of the walkways clearly had not been cleared as often as needed to allow people to enter or exit easily. "Alright, since the entrances to these duplexes are right by each other I think we can get through a few of them rather quickly," Aria explained to both of them before trudging though the snow towards the front steps.
She knocked on the door with her gloved hands and put on a friendly smile for the rather old woman who answered the door. Aria glanced at her notes and then gestured for one of the two to come up with a care package. "Ms. Davis, we're volunteers from the city with a care package for you. Blankets and other supplies to help you out," she began as she stepped to the side to let the others join her up by the door. With the friendliness and Aria's uniform it appeared they didn't have to worry about her being scared of random strangers at her door.
"Is there anything else we could do to help you today Ms. Davis?" Aria asked after ensuring the care package was going to be handed over. Sometimes people thought of things after they were done on the emergency hotline.
"Oh...," the older woman began, "well... I don't want to be a bother but... my poor little Puddles slipped out the door. If you see him, he's a little white ball of fluff, could you bring him back to me? I'm worried."
