Appearance Description : -el stands at five feet and eleven inches tall and looks like a typical modern Western angel, with no clear indications of sex. It looks vaguely between the ages of twenty to forty. It has long wavy hair that falls to chest level. The hair appears to be copper colored but always illuminates a distinctive light that gives it a soft rainbow sheen. Its facial features are delicate and its eyes are grey when it decides to put some effort into hiding its angelic nature. When not hiding, its eyes are two bright but not blinding spheres of light. It often appears to be wide eyed.
-el has white feathered wings on its back that it can hide at will and a golden halo of light over its head which it can not hide. It can, however, wear the halo in other ways, normally as either a bracelet or a ring. It has an androgynous voice when speaking to mortals but its normal voice sounds like a chorus. -el wears simple white robes that seem to remain that way all the time.

-el is a creature of habit that enjoys learning but not often from personal experiences. Instead, it favors listening to others recount their own experiences. It is a kind being but does not always empathize properly with others, a fact that it struggles with. That's probably a result of its young age. Perhaps as an angel, it should be diplomatic but sometimes the words that come out of its mouth is quite strange. Its head is often swimming with thoughts and is not always focused on a particular subject.

Inhuman Nature : Angelic Grace - As an angel, -el has some divine abilities limited to blessings, exorcisms, telekinesis, and general knowledge of this particular world and all beings that normally dwell in it. It is, however, an angel of the lowest rank and is not likely to be promoted upwards for another thousand years. Therefore with the exception of its knowledge, its powers are not likely to increase any time soon. -el's assigned function from Heaven is primarily that of an observer of mortal interactions. A type of sociologist, basically, and therefore does not have any healing or combat abilities.
-el itself is also actually neither immortal nor undying as long as it is out of Heaven because it has an allotted amount of energy put into a physical form that is more suited to dwelling among mortals. This form will not appear to age but it will gradually lose energy over time. Once all of that energy is lost, either by time or by -el using it all up performing feats, then its soul will return to Heaven and possibly be returned with a different form. Due to backup, however, it is highly likely that once -el returns to Heaven, it will not be able to descend again for at least a decade.
Every piece of active magic that -el performs except for telekinesis exhausts part of its energy allotment. Since its function on earth is not as a particularly active angel, -el is careful about expending energy and does not go seeking out instances to take part in.
Blessings
-el is able to bless objects and people by imbuing them with divine energy, making them repellent to evil and malicious magic. It does not, however, give protection against luck based events. While this divine energy can be also manipulated as wards, they can be broken by beings of angelic or demonic ranks higher than -el is. In the case of both, such beings must either have greater skill in wards than -el does -which admittedly is only moderate at best- or be so powerful that the ward simply does not hold up. Normal mortals, even those with powers, cannot easily cross these wards or harm those who -el blesses unless they are empowered by another greater entity or manage to get around with loopholes. Or if they simply overpower it. Holy water, however, will always be holy water in any instance.
Exorcisms
-el can perform exorcisms on evil spirits and demons but is capable only of about the same level of power as it has in its blessings. It also does not specialize in this ability and any being that it is able to exorcise will be able to return within a day.
Knowledge
-el's real specialization lies in knowledge keeping and gathering, particularly about cultural affairs. It is especially fascinated by expressions of creativity throughout the ages. It is not so interested in politics but enjoys researching how people perceive each other and how societies form and function. It naturally is capable of understanding any language but still prefers to shut out that ability unless it really needs to rely on it. -el has perfect memory, as befitting an angel of this function. This knowledge is limited only to this particular world, in this particular reality, and only to this particular point in time. Other worlds and the future are unknown to it.
Telekinesis
-el is capable of moving objects or beings weighing up to a thousand pounds using telekinesis. This is actually how -el manages to fly; its wings are purely decorative, created solely to fulfill human expectations, and often causes -el to feel puzzled about why humans imagine angels to have them.

Biography : -el was created from the energy of a different angel who wished to remember the old innocence it had when it was newly formed in the beginning of time. In the process of creating -el, however, the other angel gave up all of its memory, power, and personality to be recycled into this new being. For the first decades of its life, -el stayed in Heaven to review all of the events that had happened in the world up until that point in time. After finishing up that history, it was given an assignment on Earth.
