Age: 22
Birthday: September 10
Gender: Female
Career: Cafe owner / Trainer
[BCOLOR=#000000]Appearance Description: [/BCOLOR]
From head to toe, Kaya stands at 5'9 feet. She's relatively taller than most girls, and because of her tanned skin and blonde hair, she stands out often in a crowd. In addition to that, she prefers to wear casual tight clothes that show off her beautiful curves. Her long and smooth legs are also one of her great assets. At first glance, it is undeniable not to immediately notice her long lashes, semi-thick eyebrows, and red-orange eyes, followed by her beauty mark located below her left eye. Kaya's lips are moderately thick, and are rarely seen coated with lipstick.
She always wears finger-less gloves which is paired with her Ga.ntlets, a pair of bracers with four protruding spikes on all four directions. Kaya is always seen wearing them inside her gym, which she uses as a training device. Whenever she's in a session, her medium-length hair is always tied to a bun, but she always leaves room for her bangs to slightly cover the right portion of her face. She has this special gauze that covers her left arm that acts as a camouflage for her mechanism.
[BCOLOR=#000000]Personality Description: [/BCOLOR]
Kaya is a very strict trainer. She will always push her clients to their limits and will often refuse payments if they don't achieve the set goal. She loves seeing people improve and change for the better, which is why she always hangs around her gym rather than her cafe.
She loves coffee more than any kind of drink. For some reason whatsoever, she never experiences palpitation no matter how much coffee she drinks. Whenever she relaxes inside her cafe, she always seeks for people who sit alone in her cafe and will often strike a conversation with them if they don't look too busy. She's an extrovert who finds joy in listening to people's stories, especially if they're strangers.
Kaya can read moods almost instantly, therefore if she thinks that a customer or a client is getting uncomfortable or is acting a bit down, she tries her best to adapt to the situation and will either approach them or give them a small incentive.
Her hobbies include collecting shoes, which she displays and also sell inside her cafe. At present, she has collected over 380 pairs of shoes which are comprised mostly of sneakers, basketball shoes, and training shoes. Her other hobby is experimenting on drinks, which transform into the new products that her cafe will sell. Most of her concoctions turned out to be huge hits, but sometimes she goes a bit too enthusiastic and experiments too much so it ends up into a disaster of a drink.
She has a pet peeve of trouble makers. Because of Kaya's experience with boxing and other forms of martial arts, she emits a very intimidating aura that only comes out whenever someone is causing other people trouble. She often gets into fist-fights because of her short temper and sometimes injures herself in the process. She may be kind and caring, but if ever provoked, either run, or brace yourself.
[BCOLOR=#000000]Powers: [/BCOLOR]
If anything, Kaya looks utterly human, but beneath her gauze lies a very special mechanism that is connected all throughout her body. This mechanism, called Neo-Tech is something that was installed inside her body by her deceased father. It enables her to use her father's gift which are the Ga.ntlets.
The Ga.ntlets
Located on both of her wrists are bracers which allows Kaya to increase her physical abilities, as well as summon electricity. Kaya is a very experienced fighter to start with but with the use of these attachments, she is able to pursue enemies far stronger than her. Whenever she needs the help of her Ga.ntlets, she activates it by putting her fists together and with the help of her Neo-tech mechanism, the Ga.ntlets revolve quickly which enables their buff. Her left arm glows simultaneously (which is covered by the special gauze) which emits energy, enough to burn cloth.

[BCOLOR=#000000]Attachments[/BCOLOR]
Along with her father's gift are three modifications which determine the kind of buff she receives. The spikes that are stationed on the bracers are replaceable, and also consumable in terms of energy consumption. In normal fights, they usually last up to 20-30 minutes.
I M P A C T A M P L I F I E R - Whenever used, Kaya is able to increase her punching power by 2.5x.
The maximum amplification can enable her to destroy a pillar that supports an elevated highway, this consumes all the energy inside the attachment converting it to punching power. This gives her one very powerful punch per hand.
J o l t D r i l l - Adds the electrical element to her punches and also adds an electric barrier aro und her body making her harder to hit in hand-to-hand combat or with melee w eapons.
The drills may be activated to spin which causes her punches to emit bolt of electricity which in turn sacrifices her barrier. It also leads to faster energy consumption.
Weight Shift - This attachment resembles that of a flower's bud. Activating this attachment makes Kaya's weight lighter removing half, making her move faster and jump higher than a normal person.
Using all energy makes the bud bloom, enabling her to move extremely fast for a very short time. Perfect for escapes, this allows her to run up to 100kph for 30 seconds.
Whenever an attachment is out of juice, she is able to replace them very easily by ejecting them from the bracer. Without the help of these attachments, her Ga.ntlets are practically an accessory. She removes them by removing the spikes either one by one or with a push of a button on the surface of the bracers.
Losing power (or losing it totally) on one of the spikes on one bracer will render it useless. Meaning that one brace might still work as long as 4 spikes of the same kind (and still filled with energy) are attached to the bracer. She cannot mix different spikes of the different buff. For the instance that only one brace is doing the work, the consequences will be reduction of punching power for the Impact Amplifier, reduced barrier power on the Jolt Drill, and less weight reduction on the Weight Shift attachment. Although it seems that if this does happen to the Ga.ntlets, she won't be able to activate their special abilities. This is not the case. For the I.A. she may consume the remaining power on one brace and have one less powerful punch, for the J.D. she would have very limited shots of lightning with lower power, and for W.S. she will only be able to run at max, 70kph for 15 seconds.
She can also use 2 attachments (for example, I.A. on the left bracer and J.D. on the right) at the same time, but as stated earlier, they will have weaker buffs.
[BCOLOR=#000000]Biography:[/BCOLOR]
Kaya was born in Australia, from what most people believe is home to a very harsh environment. In Kaya's case this was partially true, not in a manner of wild violent animals, but more of a neighborhood locals kind of harsh. She lived in a town where people loved to fight, and I mean literally brawl over every little thing. Amidst all this, they were generally nice people, and they helped each other in their times of need. She befriended some of those people which she treated as family. When Kaya was young, her parents were divorced because of complications due to work. Her father was always gone because of research, and her mother saddened by this rose to become an alcoholic. She wasn't violent in anyway but it always left Kaya all alone most of the time. She learned to take care of herself--and her mother--at a young age which in turn made her feelings drift away from her.
In High-school, while walking home she came across an old man who was begging on the streets, at first she ignored him, but as time passed she grew more and more curious about this man. One day she decided to take a longer route going home and she found herself wandering inside a vacant lot--it was huge, she wasn't even sure if this place really existed because if it did, she would've probably noticed it a long time ago. She walked for a while, and at the end of it, she noticed a small shack not bigger than a classroom rested beside an abandoned barn. Suddenly, the old man came out and he noticed her. Scared, she ran away quickly towards the exit, but the old man ran after her and shortly after, he caught up to her.
"Wait! Stay with me for a while, I'll show you something!" The old man shouted.
Within seconds, he was already in front of her and she was already out of breathe. She told herself, Someone help me, I'm going to get molested by this old man! He looks quite cute actually when you look closer, BUT NO. NO. NO. GOD HELP ME. The old man walked closer and reached his hand towards her, she closed her eyes, and when she tried to peek, the old man's hands were in front of him, offering her a pair of gloves.
So many questions to ask, but she decided to just go with him, she plans to run away the moment he leaves his sights on her but this man was persistent. They got to his old shack and what took sight amazed Kaya, from the walls, to the floors, were instruments for fighting. After a while, the old man told Kaya if she wanted to become his apprentice. Kaya was always interested in fighting, and deep inside, she had always wanted something like this to happen.
The suddenly there's this weird person I meet, but he/she is actually a master of fighting, and that person sees potential inside me so he/she offers me apprenticeship kind-of-thing.
She accepted, and the first few weeks were entirely hell for her. The Master--she never got his name--was extremely strict in teaching and always gave her punishments for every inch she does wrong. With this, her years of high-school turned into a very fruitful one, she met a lot of friends because of her acquired skills and used it to help people in need.
One day, she returned to the shack, and she found no trace of her master. She felt sad remembering how her mother left her without uttering a word after the divorce. She was walking around and found herself inside the barn, it was empty, but she wandered inside it anyway. When she came out, she found a letter, it read, To dear Kaya. It was a farewell letter from his master and she read it on the way home. When night fell, she read it again, and she cried softly until she fell asleep.
Years pass, and the day before graduation, her father came home from his research. He came home once every 2 months to check up on Kaya, making sure everything is fine and to prevent her daughter to fleet away from him. He loves Kaya very much, and he wouldn't be able to control himself if she had left him too. But his research was also important, so important that he spent a long time to convince Kaya that he just had to finish it. Kaya was fine with it though, she understood it from the start, sure she felt alone, but she had her master--until he packed up and went away--to make up for it.
They both had dinner at home and talked about the future, while unknowingly Kaya's father brought home a dangerous substance to their home. At evening, she decided to clean the house while his father went out to buy groceries, and she entered her father's room. On one desk, there was a container that seemed futuristic. Must be his research, looks great! she thought. She moved it to clean the desk but she tripped and the container fell down, cracking something inside. Moments later, it was emitting a strange glow, which grew stronger.
It exploded.
The explosion was not entirely powerful to destroy the whole house, but it created a beam of light that her father saw on the way home. After a while, it faded.
Her father rushed inside to find her, and there she was,
her body burned all over, arms and limbs torn, half her body was destroyed.
She was on the brink of death.
It was because of this incident that his father threw away everything and put his focus on Kaya. He grabbed her and was moaning from the terrible events that occured to his daughter. After moments of grieving, he stopped, I need to do something, he thought. His research might be able to save Kaya. Without hesitation, he opened up a hidden room underground, just beneath the living room and inside is a kind of facility used for developing some kind of organism. Everything there was dusty but all of them worked. He never knew he would use this room again, as he experimented with all kinds of animals here when he was young, but that day, his specimen was his daughter.
He operated for 17 straight hours to reconstruct every part and heal every torn limb the explosion caused. He had a spare unit, the same with the container that exploded, My colleagues will execute me if I violate the agreement. But this is my daughter, and I will do anything for her, he thought. He extracted the element inside it, Neo-magic they called it, and installed it inside Kaya's nervous system.
Weeks passed and as Kaya recovered, he thought of a way to conceal her daughter's existence. He met one professor while he was on the field and offered him a chance to escape this madness if it broke out, and as of now, he really needed it. He negotiated with him and told him to take her daughter away discreetly. He found out that there were a group of islands called Manta Carlos, it was perfect for Kaya, it was hidden, and she would feel at home there if ever. The professor asked if he wanted to join, but he turned him down,
"I need to finish something first." he told the professor.
After the paperwork was done, Kaya was immediately sent to the islands, and she was in coma for a whole year. All his father's assets were also given to her along with a small aluminum box that seemed like a present for Kaya. She received the best medical care as possible and hid her for a while to avoid any attention.
When Kaya regained consciousness, she entered therapy for her to get used to the constructed muscles she had attained. Time passed, and she had just wondered where she was, and where his father is. It was at this moment that the professor sent the aluminum box to her. It contained a bracer and some spikes--and a letter.
"Hey there Kaya, I know everything seems to be a mess, but I need you to compose yourself my child, you are safe here, I made sure of that. You're strong, and I know you'll be able to live a better life here, trust me. I made a friend there that will get you back up to your feet, just promise me, don't hesitate. And I know that, you might soon wonder where I am, and I ask you, please be strong. Kaya, by the moment you've started reading this, no, the moment you woke up, I'm probably dead by then. I used the last drop of my research to save you, and that broke the agreement, and death is the punishment. I don't want you to think that it's your fault because it isn't, it was mine. I didn't-, no I couldn't protect you. I'm sorry child, but as I've asked earlier, be strong. Be strong, not just for yourself, but also for me."
Tears rolled down from her eyes, but she was expressionless. It was in the afternoon when she read the letter, and it was an immaculate scene. She looked out her window, wondering how she should start. The sun shone on her orange eyes, which resembled that of smooth stained glass.
She did as his father told her to do. She consulted the friend her father was pertaining to and started off from scratch. Within 2 years, she had bought a building in the calmer parts of the city and turned the first floor into a cafe and the second floor into a gym. There, her mind and soul were reborn, matching her body which which waited for this day to come.
