Kalyca is a lithe cervitaur with short blonde hair and brown green eyes. Her ears are like those of a deer, sitting on either side of her head and capable of a wide range of expressive movements.

Her deer half has a pale Chestnut coat with white spots along her flanks and markings similar to but not quite analogous to a white-tail deer.

Kalyca wears her school uniform most of the time, but tries to be as fashionable as she can most of the time. She loves bracelets and wears them on her legs whenever possible, though many of them have to be modified to fit correctly. She can also often be seen in her tracksuit, as part of the track and field club.

Due to her mother's influence, Kalyca has a heavy accent similar to what one might call a Southern Belle, but there is an odd hint of something else underneath it that mostly can't quite place.

Kalyca is a girl with her head in the clouds, if only because she has big dreams and wants to see them come true. She wants to be a dancer, a writer, a florist, and so much more. She honestly doesn't know what she wants to do or be, but she definitely knows she wants to do something great.

She's a not so secret romantic and lover of fashion. She is a huge fan of Pokemon and plays Go a ton (Team Instinct, yo). She's a member of the track and field club and particularly interested in archery and racing in that area.

She can have a bit of a temper and lash out if upset. But if truly angry she tends to break down more and cry. She can be pretty timid and easily manipulated if one knows what buttons to push.

Active
Rosethorn Bow
A bow crafted from the woven branches of the rose bush she was born from, Kalyca's Rosethorn Bow will never break. Likewise if stolen or lost, it will always find its way back to her.

Greenwatch Rites
Magical rites of the forest, these rituals allow for those who know them to call on favors from the natural world and the gods that represent them. Kalyca only has one right now.

Homeward Bound

The ritual maker takes a handful of vines and ties them around a tree. When completed, an animal, possessed by a spirit of the forest, will help them find their way home if they are lost. No harm will befall the one who tied the knot so long as the spirit remains with them. The spirit collects a day of lifespan as payment before departing.

Passive
Cervitaur Physiology
Kalyca can comfortably carry about 200 pounds on her back. She can also drag up to 400 pounds behind her. While unburdened, she can make either a fifteen foot vertical jump or a ten foot horizontal leap, but not both at the same time. She can run at just under forty miles per hour for less than a minute before needing to rest. She is graceful and agile, easily keeping her footing on narrow or otherwise perilous surfaces.

Cervitaur Senses
Kalyca's senses of hearing and smell are incredibly keen, and her ability to move her ears means she can hone in accurately on sounds. She can also detect minute amounts of toxic materials in what she eats, enough to spit it out if need be.

Blessed of Artemis
Kalyca is blessed by the goddess Artemis, and as such is a master archer. Given a clear path within the normal range of an arrow, Kalyca cannot miss a stationary target. For moving targets, her accuracy is still incredible to the point of inhuman, able to hit a bird as it flies. She cannot make a non-magical arrow curve, however. She will lose this blessing if she ever loses Artemis’ favor.

Obligate Herbivore
Kalyca cannot eat meat, but can supplement her vegetarian diet with dairy products. Her sense of taste is also sensitive, meaning that eating overly seasoned food will make her nauseous.

Common Magical Items
Nullification Bracelet
This nullification bracelet naturally disables all of a characters active abilities, and any outwardly projecting passive abilities (such as auras). This bracelet can be taken on and off at will.

Kalyca was born on Manta Carlos after her mother, a Centaur named Charlotte, begged the goddess Artemis for a daughter. So Kalyca was born from a rose bush on the edge of the farm where Charlotte lived.

Her life has this far been fairly uneventful. She briefly fell in with a poor crowd, led by the Fae Argenta. The group tormented the bully Dalia as retribution for her past mistakes. When all was said and done however, she made amends with the Tor girl and hasn't seen Argenta since.

She is on the track team and practices archery, but given her supernatural blessing she isn't really allowed to compete without a power nullification bracelet on.

Lives with her mother on the Markey Farm within a community of farmer's outside of the city. Gets an allowance for doing chores.
