"Well, I don't really know what to do," Anh Sang admitted. "The last time I ran in the elections, I didn't do too well because I had school and everything was just so arggh!" She wasn't really that upset about it but you couldn't just say arggh with a straight face and a flat tone.

"So, how do you make it work? With school and everything going on." She waved her finger around in a circle to emphasize the everything.

Marina nodded, appreciating her enthusiasm. Their cakes arrived, but not their drinks.

"Well, you keep a tight schedule! I know, it's hell, you wake up early and school ends at three, but you need to allot all of your free time into winning. It's a whole active process, girlie. Being perfect takes dedication. Do you have that dedication?"

"Ambitious and considerate! I'm getting good vibes from you, kid. You might just win this election." Marina paused, chuckling. That wouldn't really be possible, right? Starlight Academy wouldn't vote for a preteen to be president?

She paused.

Yeah, they totally would. This kid was competition. But Marina was going to be nice. Being dirty at a kid felt weird. "I can totally help. How are you planning on advertising your campaign?"

"I think I'm going to do some fliers and posters," Anh Sang said, remembering last semester. "Me and big sis Morgan were going to do those pre-vi-ous-ly but then I ran out of time and stuffs. I don't know, though. That seems pretty simple."

For a few moments, she simply looked around the cafe, trying to see if anything in particular stood out to her. Sometimes people liked to put things up in places like this, right? But all she saw were, of course, posters and fliers. "Do you have any other ideas for things? I don't want to do just normal things only."

Marina nodded. As she nodded, she pulled out her panda notebook and fuzzy pink pen and began writing down Anh Sang's campaign. Under advertisements and 'Anne Sang', fliers and posters. "Those are pretty standard. I recommend making buttons, ribbons, shirts, and other stuff you can throw at a crowd. You also have to try other stuff. Me and Morgan are doing radio advertisements, and I'm doing a cheer at the Courtyard tomorrow. I use my cheerleading skills to come up with catchy jingles and dance performances. What kind of skills do you have? I'll give you a few suggestions."

Marina was just so cool and adult. She was prepared for anything, wasn't she? When she grew up, Anh Sang had already decided that she wanted to be exactly like the older girl. She didn't know how she felt about cheerleading, though, so maybe not exactly the same.

As she internally fawned over the blonde, Anh Sang swung her feet and answered, "Well, I can do art things! And I can make butterflies like, this?"

As the waiters went around to serve their drinks, Marina wrote down "art things" and "butterflies."

"I saw the butterflies. They're very adorable! And from my perspective, a real crowd pleaser." She winked. "So, art things and butterflies, I recommend, with the art things, that you make big banners and post it at wide, spacious places. You know, umm. The parking lot. The cafeteria. The sports bulletin board. Make sure people really see. And for the butterflies..."

Marina shifted in her seat, obviously hype, and made a booming gesture with her arms. "Right in the Courtyard! Maybe bring out a stereo and play some music! Announce your candidacy in megaphone! When you get their attention, bam, you lure them in to vote for you." She punched her palm and grinned smugly. Yes, of course. This was the perfect plan. Absolutely flawless.

Marina liked her butterflies. Anh Sang rethought this sentence several times happily. Because of that, she had already made the decision to make more. A hundred! No, thousand! Ten million! And then she needed to make some different colored ones but so far all she was managing was. Red and purple? Yeah, something like that! She had tried all year long to get more colors like yellow but it just never turned out right.

"Okay, I can totally do that!" She said to the rest of Marina's suggestion, doing a fist pump. "I don't know where to get a stereo, though. And I'm not really good with music stuff too much." Although, she did think she had some relatives who were good with that sort of thing.

"Oh, don't worry about the stereo, dear! Hold on." Marina scribbled down her phone number at the edge of the paper, ripped it out, and handed it to Anh Sang. "Knows some boys in the AV club. They can hook your music up in the school speakers, no biggie. Just text me when you need them." She winked.

"So, advertisements are done. What about your slogan? Surely, you should have one prepared. People need slogans to associate you with. Like..." Marina made a rainbow gesture with her hands. "Bellamy 2016. Why settle for anything less than a Queen? What about yours?"
