The cafe was a place that Aurora had been wanting to try ever since it opened, but being somewhat far from the school, the mage had never actually made the trek to the downtown area. Weekends on the other hand were, while busy, manageable, and Aurora had finally made the trip to what was supposed to be something of a couples' cafe. Of course she didn't have anyone to take in particular, but that didn't mean the coffee wouldn't be any less enjoyable.
In fact, as Aurora sat down with coffee in hand, and a folder full of scores, she realized the mug in her hand contained one of the better cups of coffee she had tasted in recent times, having an almost rustic feel to it, and an actual caffeinated kick, unlike the instant stuff that had propagated the world in the last 50 years or so. But so was life.
Making marks on an empty score, Aurora went about the transcription of several other pieces for a new composition...and simultaneously waiting for someone. She wasn't sure who, but someone who had started creating problems, or would start creating problems sometime in the near future.
