Namjilyn Nergüi

It should have been assumed that Nergüi took the welfare of her business seriously to the point of paranoia. That said, of all the things which could happen, preparing for a natural disaster was rather low on her list of priorities. Manta Carlos was an island run by the magical, the supernatural, the strange. Such things should have at least meant safety from wide-scale misfortune. Unfortunately, Nergüi could sometimes be partially wrong. There was a disaster, yes. But it was also not natural, a fact that failed to reassure her sensibilities.

"All available employees report to work now," she had written in both emails and texts. Several had not responded at all and a few had given weak excuses for why they should not come in. Nergüi would remember that. To her displeasure, Wesker had been one of the few who had not said replied back. He was a student, however. Perhaps that was simply a sign that the Academy had very stable evacuation procedures in place. Nonetheless, they would have words later, when the entire mess was done and dealt with. For now, she had an establishment to secure.

An investor and good friend of hers had called in two trucks to help with the moving. Though Julian was not in town to experience the situation, Nergüi appreciated his consideration. He, of course, also had some finances at stake here.

"Be careful with those jars!" Nergüi ordered, as stacks of blood were stowed into the refrigerated vehicles. If the tsunami turned out bad, she knew exactly what would happen. First, there would be causalities, then there would be an even greater pressure for people to donate blood -actually donate blood. The hospitals would be overflowing. Her own business would become parched, dead entirely if she did not save most of what she had. Depending on the severity of the flooding, she might lose all of the refrigerators in the bar -a major loss. They were immovable now, as they had been welded into the ground, and she could not waste time tearing them up.

She calculated every factor she could see. The blood was half-packed now, more or less. The first truck had been sent to safer grounds with the most expensive bloods and most valuable objects stored safely in it. The business could survive with that, if they were lucky enough to find enough wealthy drinkers, but they could have more. Needed more, even. Though she cared little about more modest folk themselves, she did care of what violence they might resort to as a result of desperation. It was a shameful thing.

Other employees were sealing every possible crack with duct tape, both outside and inside the building. Plastic bags were wrapped around everything of value that could not be taken away or put upstairs. Every emptied refrigerator was double wrapped and taped for good measure.

"Three to four hours" was not a lot of time at all.

Neil arrived on the scene almost as soon as he received the text message, and he was sure to bring that. The plan was to assist the police forcein evacutating people, then help out in saving anyone unable to evacuate using that, but before he could do that he needed to help his boss. He ran through the city streets and slid to a halt right infront of the blood bar where he worked.

Neil Harmon dug into the coat of his suit and pulled out a large shiny black belt buckle... he slammed it down on his waist and a silver belt burst out of it and wrapped around his waist. He dug through his pants pocket and took out an intricate red key, Neil raised it teeth up and uttered out a phrase...

"HENSHIN!!!"

He slammed the teeth of the key into a slot on the belt buckle and twisted it, causing the device strapped to his waist to glow. The belts speakers played a tone and played the message

"B-B-B-B-BLADE FORM!!!"

Neils body was covered by a bright red glow, when it faded the man was suited in a bright red, samurai beetle like suit, a single white scarf blowing in the wind behind him. He raised a clenched fist infront of his face.

"The earth cries out... the viewers roar... all calling on me... I am the warrior of justice, THE HELMED RIDER ATLUS"

'Now, what ever is he doing?' Nergüi watched as one of her security guards dashed onto the scene in the midst of the other frantically working employees. For a moment, she entertained a vision of something going terribly wrong -him suddenly crashing into the side of the bar and taking out the entire wall, bumping into a person carrying tens of thousands of dollars worth of precious product, or maybe even distracting them long enough for the tsunami to crash down on them all. To be fair, nothing tragic had happen yet with Neil present but the personality differences between the two of them made Nergüi suspicious.

Nonetheless, she raised her eyebrows by a substantial after seeing his spontaneous transformation. Was that his power? That he was suddenly wearing a strange suit? Well, she supposed she had seen stranger. And at least he had actually shown up!

"Neil," she said, calling his attention in a tone that was relatively mild. "You showed up." She really considered making a comment about his wardrobe but that would have been a waste of time. "Please help the other employees move the blood into the truck. Gently, please. We unfortunately have to leave the refrigerators behind."

Helmed Rider Atlus quickly made his way over to the fridges theyd supposedly have to leave behind. He turned his head over to his boss and spoke.

"I think ill be able to take them off the floor!"

His voice came out of two speakers on the side of his helmet, and seemed to be amplified a little. Atlus drew his red blade from the sheath on his waist and crouched down, and cut at the metal welding them to the ground, it was a weird angle, but he managed to break them free. He went ahead and did the same toa few of the fridges.

"They should be free to move now! Weve just got to get them into the trucks."

He cracked his knuckles and tried to grip the large fridges, he managed to get a good grasp on them but he just couldnt lift them up. Looked as if blade form wouldnt work for this, Atlus pulled out a similar yellow key out of seemingly nowhere, he pulled out the red key he had inserted and replaced it with the yellow one.

"H-H-H-H-HAMMER FORM!!!"

The belt played out a different tone as Atlus shifted over to a bulkier yellow form, his scarf was much shorter, and he had a large hammer strapped to his back. He attempted to grapple the fridges again, and this time managed to pick one of them up. Helmed Rider Atlus carried the heavy fridge over to the moving van and stored it in nice and safely.

Quite worried over the fate of her remaining product, Nergüi quickly followed after Neil as he entered the bar. When he shouted that he would be able to move the fridges, Nergüi's first instinct was to run over to his side and remove whatever ridiculous tool that he was going to use to do it. It was, somewhat impractically, a sword. The man actually brought a sword to help pack up for a tsunami. That was ludicrous, utterly insane. And, as he sliced through the welded bottoms of the refrigeration, she amended the thought to include things like Useful and Convenient. And Excellent, somebody is finally earning their keep.

Briefly, she considered giving the man a bonus or even a raise. But those were such things for performing beyond the bounds of his contract. Had he done something particularly surprising? Yes, of course but it was his job to assure the welfare of the bar. Nergüi did not make it a habit of rewarding people for merely doing exactly whatever it was they were hired to do. She did, however, deliberate over it.

That could wait until after the flood, in any case. Mentally, the woman made a note to also remind future applicants to write down a full description of their powers, abilities, high-tech weapons, what-have-you.

As Neil began moving a fridge to the truck which remained, she ordered other employees to untape the now-freed ones that the man had left behind. It would be better to simply put all of the remaining blood back into there, and she made certain to gather a group to move blood into the fridge that Neil had taken as well.

Nergüi checked the time. There were new public warnings which had been issued, one of which dealt with the Academy. Mysteriously appearing dead bodies? Killers on the loose? Well, it was so good to know that all of that was congregating far away from her.

Neil stowed the last of the fridges that would fit into the van, he hopped out and headed back to Nergüi to report his progress.

"Thats all the fridges, im guessing were bringing these somewhere safe now?"

He tensed up a little, the storm was approaching fast. He hadnt known Nergüi for very long, but he cared about her, and wanted to be sure she was safe from the storm.

"And where are you headed after this? Going to the shelters or something?"

Miracle of miracles, there was somebody useful around for a change. Nergüi checked and double checked the bar just to be certain that nothing had been forgotten in the hurry. Her fears were alleviated with the quick survey -everything of value had been taken up now, to upstairs or to the trucks, even the refrigerators. The amount of money she would be saving through this was staggering.

For a moment, she was perfectly overjoyed. Maybe she really would give Neil that bonus after all. They would have to see what the damage to the city would be. If it was really bad and she wound up feeling very generous, then maybe.

"My employees are free to leave for the shelters if they would like," Nergüi said with a wave of the hand. "I will stay here with the Ganerdene, on the second floor. Even if the product is all gone, I will not invite looters with my absence. Should the waters reach even to that level, I will remind you that my wings are not simply for show."

She looked over the man with a careful, scrutinizing eye. He was oddly caring for somebody under her employ. That was rather novel. "I do not suppose that you will merely go to the shelters, will you?"

Nergüi knew what she was doing, she could protect the business from looters, and escape if the water got to high, great! Atlus removed the key from his belt and powered down, now appearing in his dirtied suit. "Good to know, but im going to be helping people get to the shelters, I figure my belt will keep me pretty safe for awhile."

The plan was to get as many people to safety as possible, then get to a shelter himself. "Is there anything else I can do for you here?"

Was there anything else he could do for her? Well, that certainly was an idealistic tune. Nergüi supposed that him staying out to play hero would make sense, then, though it certainly did not reflect well on his self-preservation instincts. With what she had seen, however, perhaps he would be fine.

"Do be careful out there," she said instead, avoiding the question as she retreated back to her business. "It seems that the Academy is suffering from a bout of mysterious, opportunistic murders. If such a thing is this well broadcast, then there is certainly something wrong. In all of the years I have been on this island, I have never heard of such a thing."

"Mysterious killer... ill keep my eyes out for anyone suspicious, but ill probably be alright, I might just meet up with the police."

He removed his belt off of his waist and
