Eve prepared the snacks and tea as fast and careful as she could. She brought out an oval-shaped wooden tray, one that was carved with intricate designs in the handles and was varnished smoothly. She placed a stainless platter there before getting a whole French Bread and slicing it carefully. She prepared toppings for it, too, after boiling some tea. She placed stuff like cheese and tomato sauce and other toppings similar to pizza. She wasn't sure if that was okay, but that was the best type of toaster snack she could think of. When it came to food, she wasn't really very creative.

She came back a few minutes later, wooden tray in hand. Beside the platter of uncooked toast was the teapot and two cups, a container for sugar and milk, and a bowl of fresh apples.

"I'm back," she announced, setting the tray down the table, before taking a seat opposite of Miya. "I'm not really sure my combination is good. I only had green tea in the shelves. I hope that's okay?"

Miya was still so taken in of the room when Eve returned that she hadn't noticed her right away. Jealousy had formed in her mind at the things she wasn't able to do because of how her room was made and the size. When she finally noticed Eve, Miya was amazed at how the tray looked and became even more jealous. This woman had some awesome looking stuff.

Miya's mouth began to water at the sight of the stuff on the try. It looked rather weird with the different toppings but Miya didn't care. One thing she loved about cooking was making and trying new things.

"Green tea is alright. And this stuff isn't as random as you think. I love to cook so I'm experimenting with different things. Though I guess that's one benefit about my heat. Don't need a working oven since I pretty much am one. Stove's a different story."

Miya picked up one of the pieces of toast and spread some of the tomato sauce on it before sprinkling some of the cheese on it. Miya held the toast for a few moments before the cheese started to melt and the sauce boil. Without even hesitating Miya took a bite and let out a joyful moan. Was still pretty good. Not she wanted to order pizza when she got home.

Picking up the tea pot Miya poured herself some of the tea and added a little bit of the sugar to it. Stuffing the rest of the pizzatoast into her mouth she used the tea to help wash everything down before picking up an apple and taking a delightful bite into it.

"Not gunna lie. Feels like I'm sitting in some cafe and this is nice. But my god for you to have this much awesome looking stuff you must be quite talented with your paintings. Though I guess showcasing and selling paintings is a lot easier then my music. Sent off some of my stuff but haven't really gotten any responses. Kind of sad but I'm not losing hope. I have another publisher I can send stuff to and they enjoy music created by young minds. Speaking of which, what got you into painting? My music is rather simple. The foster parents I had before coming here had a piano and I hit a key. Then another. Soon after I was playing random keys and made music. At first they thought I was playing, like messing with it, until they saw me enjoying myself. After that I took lessons, started writing my own pieces, and even had a few recitals. Might see if I can get one here to showcase my music for people to enjoy."

Miya took another sip of the tea, unknowingly making it boil a bit which she had no problem drinking. She didn't exactly feel anything from hot water, though luckily flavors still remained for her to taste.

Eve listened to Miya's story with interest and curiosity, as she also put some tomato sauce and cheese on a slice of bread. She did not mind not having it toasted, she actually liked it that way.

Then she also poured some tea in her cup, and added some sugar and milk. She loved milk tea, although coffee and chocolate still came before that.

She was laughing, in a sense that she enjoyed hearing how passionate Miya was about her music. And, being complimented about her place, she felt flattered.

"Ah, actually, I'm also making cover arts for books in a publishing company outside of Manta Carlos. I have to communicate through the internet since there's no easy way for me to go out of here. The commission is pretty high. And I have one client who always orders some paintings. Apparently he has money to burn. He even treats me to cafés sometimes," she explained, before taking a bite of her bread, and a sip from her milk tea.

"You know, that effort will surely pay off soon. That's pretty much how I became like this. Visual art was simply my hobby since childhood, and I just kept on showing my skills off to people until someone finally noticed. Internet helped a lot, since many people ask for digital commissions too. Maybe you can get some wonderful audience if you show off online."

"That's so awesome!"

Miya almost jumped out of her seat upon hearing how Eve was as well off as she was. One could almost see stars in her eyes as she looked at Eve. It was inspiring to see someone able to pursue their passions so much and make a living off of it. That was Miya's dream to do as well. Let her music take her across the world and let millions enjoy it.

"Well...Digital is difficult for music. Sure I can send off my music sheets and stuff like that but....To me Music needs to be heard in person. It doesn't have the same tone or sound when it's played through a program. I mean...I can maybe try that."

Miya did seem a little bit upset. She did know it would get her music out there, but it just didn't have the same feeling. Miya just wanted to play for people and see their reactions, not read them online. That was just her though. She may try it in the end.

Eve chuckled. As their conversation progressed and became more and more enjoyable, she's also took many mental notes about Miya's features. She was beautiful, Eve though, especially as this painter tried to imagine the young lady playing the grand piano. A wide smile crept across her lips.

"Cheer up, dear. Maybe it would be better if you play the piano and record a video so you can upload it. That's just for exposure of course. You'll get the big fish only once you're noticed by a large crowd."

Giving advice was fun, she thought. She's never really done it before, but she was sure sharing some experience to a younger artist would somehow help. And it cheered her up, especially since she couldn't do so much with her own artworks. After all, she did just ruin her three masterpieces.

That led her into a deep thought. She needed to make up for those lost art. She needed something as beautiful as them...

"It'll be nice if I could paint you with a piano..."

Aaand, there went her thoughts, slipping past her lips, even though she had no intention of saying that out loud. Realizing this, she clasped her right hand over her mouth, and gave Miya an apologetic look.

"I... I didn't mean to say that out loud," she tried to explain. She didn't know what Miya would think of her and her thoughts but she was not going to deny it, she found her really beautiful. And more so if she was surrounded with things that brought out her talent and passion.

Miya started to take another sip of her tea when Eve mentioned making a video of her playing the piano and showcasing it online. That was a pretty brilliant idea actually. It wouldn't ruin the quality and she could do it herself with little to not effort. It could actually work too!

"Well I feel dumb for not thinking of that. That's a pretty smart idea to be honest. Would be a good started and then my pieces could end up, as you said, catching bigger fish."

Miya started to drink from her tea when she heard Eve mention painting her on the piano then quickly backpedaling. Miya set the tea cup down and thought for a moment. Eve had mentioned she did cover art for things and, well, Miya started to blush a bit at the thought.

"Oh! Don't feel bad! I mean, well, it is strange to ask but.. Well. It...might actually be a good thing for us both. I mean I have never had such a request but it sounds fun. Helping a fellow artist and at the same time it also gives me an idea for an inspirational piece. Though I still have five others I need to finish before I think about composing another one."

Miya wasn't in the least bit bothered. In fact she was more excited by the fact that someone wanted to paint a picture of her doing her favorite thing in the entire world! Miya's eyes at this point would have stars bulging from them as she thought about the idea.

"I just have to make sure to have wards on me depending on what you want me to dress up in. Would rather not accidentally set the canvas on fire or dry up your paint. That'd just suck."

Eve made a sheepish laugh and nodded it off. "Sorry, sorry, I thought it would bother you," she said, before laughing a bit more. She was actually really relieved that Miya was okay with the idea. And was amused seeing the young lady blush. She found it to be quite adorable.

"Okay, so..." A quick sip from her cup. Her throat felt the need for it. "...you're saying you'll let me paint you, right? Oh, that's amazing!" She grinned, and clasped her hands together, "Thank you! I should give you a present or something in return... Oh, and don't worry about setting things on fire, uh... I don't need you to wear anything else. You looking like that is already perfect. And I don't really like realism so I'll always alter the painting in some ways, make it more majestic and such."

She giggled, feeling her happiness bubble up to her chest. She needed another sip, and she needed to take something in to swallow, so she grabbed another bread and filled it with toppings and munched it down.

She was really happy, as if she's already forgotten how she messed up downstairs just a few moments ago.

"If you grabbed the fire extinguisher and sprayed me I would be bothered. I mean hearing that someone wants to paint me doing what I love. Well....It sounds kind of..."

Before she let that thought train continue any further Miya flicks herself in the side of the head. She's been reading too many romance novels so ideas tend to flutter in and out making her flick herself to keep those thoughts away. Not exactly something that should be thought of at the moment.

"How about just a copy when you're finished. Don't have to paint two of them, maybe just take a photo and make it digital for me. Give me something to hang on my wall that isn't, well, shirtless hunks or sexy babes."

There was a hint of sarcasm when Miya mentioned the hunks and babes. Well she had maybe one or two but not an entire wall covered in them. What teenage girl didn't have at least one kind of poster like that? Pouring herself another glass of tea, Miya decided it was pretty much set. She just had to look and be herself on the piano and that was all there was to it.

"Man if you're hungry we could go grab a bite to eat or cook something. Maybe a real pizza would be kinda nice. Though these are one of the best random snacks I've seen before. Pizza toast... Great another weird small piece in my head."

Eve tilted her head. She didn't get what Miya said about her being painted with a piano and such, but she assumed Miya was just probably really happy at the idea. And hearing Miya talk about posters on her wall, she simply chuckled and nodded. Honestly, she didn't understand. When she was a teen ager, her walls were void of such posters, and were filled with frames of paintings instead.

She was probably not normal though. She was technically obsessed with her paintings. "Okay, I'll give you a copy then. You deserve it, after all."

She was already done with her share of snacks. She watched Miya a bit more and eyed the tray a bit." Oh, I can treat us to a pizza house if you want. I haven't really explored those kinds of establishments yet so checking them out would be a good experience for me," she said. "What about the apples?"

"Then it's settled! So you just me to be as natural as possible when I'm doing it right? Cause I tend to make myself a little dolled up even if I'm just performing for myself. Sometimes I like to think I'm playing for an audience and, well, it keeps me....You know.."

Miya blushed a bit. So she believed she was playing for an audience and felt like a superstar or a great musician, a famous person with millions of fans all over the world loving her music. Girl has to dream before getting anywhere big.

"That would be awesome! Oh and the apples? Well here's the thing. Ever meet someone with a big appetite who seems to shovel down everything put in front of them without any problem? I'm one of those people though most of it comes from my body heat burning through whatever I eat pretty quick. One of the reasons I can eat whatever I want and never get fat. So I guess it's a bonus there."

With that Miya picked up an apple and held it over her tea cup and took what could almost be called an inhuman bite. Well, she wasn't kidding that she was hungry and she really loved apples. It didn't take long for Miya to turn the apple into just the core before grabbing another one and taking a few bites out of it. All the while a grumble emitted from Miya's stomach.

"Or if you don't want them to waste we can turn it into fresh apple juice. And there goes the cooking part of my brain thinking of ways to turn apples into a drink, side dish, or a topping for something. Apple slices on pizza....."

Miya grabbed another apple and pocketed it into her longcoat. This was an idea she was going to try. One thing she loved about cooking was testing new things despite how strange they sounded.
