Not putting down her copy of the menu, Eve moved her eyes to Miya and watched, with her right eye brow slightly raised, curiously, cluelessly, what she was doing. And then started to laugh as Miya explained herself. "Right, right..! I almost forgot about that! I don't really feel any danger no matter how close you get," she said. "I hope you don't take it the wrong way, just that... heheh... I'm fine being comfortable around you, and for some reason I forgot that you could literally turn the heat up without those wards--"
Now that was an idea. Eve jolted as her eyes widened, as if she was just hit by something amazing. And she was. Suddenly, she could already imagine what to do for her painting of Miya, and how to add the majestic fantasy-like element she puts in all of her works. She set the menu down, revealing the grin she had on her face. If only they didn't just arrive, she would've asked for them to already go back, that's how excited she looked like.
"Miya, Miya!" She was calling her and tapping her hand in a way that would irritate most people, but she couldn't help it. "I just had a great idea for our painting! I can't tell you what it is exactly though 'cuz that's a surprise. Oh, I wonder, where do you want to do it? Do you know any abandoned or old buildings here? Because it would be awesome if I could find a basis for the painting. I'm telling ya I could already tell it'll be great!"
Just as quick as her bursting, she realized that they had to order and decided to shove the matter aside first. With a gasp that shows she forgot about the waitress, she quickly grabbed the menu again and briefly scanned it one last time. "S-Sorry 'bout that... Anyway, I'll have an iced lemon tea... And as for pizza... Anything's okay, right?" Eve glanced at Miya, asking confirmation. "How about the one with lots of beef and green pepper and mushroom? How about Hawaiian? Know what, let's just take one of each." She turned to the waitress who was already jotting things down. "Yep, one order of beef and one more Hawaiian. Sixteen inches for both. And don't forget the ice and iced tea."
With a nod, the waitress took their order to the kitchen. Eve thought they could just order again later, if ever Miya would still want more. She smiled at her, and started tapping her fingers on the table as she waited for their food to arrive.
