fizgig has a posse

Hello and welcome to the community! I'm Prometheus, Bringer of Fire. Pretty new myself, but I can already guarantee that there are no demands for perfection here. Everyone is very relaxed and accepts people of all levels, which is really quite the breath of fresh air considering what some other places are like.

Great to have such an experienced roleplayer here though! I'm sure you'll fit right in, everyone here is really welcoming.

*Blasts party cannon and sings random "Welcome" song*. Hello! I'm Fireruby, and I don't really bring anything but myself I guess, but that's more than enough xD. You'll totally fit in around here, and find a nice role play, with no high demands or expectations. Every writer does things their own level, and unique way. That's why I love it here, and others do too! I hope you have a good time here, and yay for the baby! =)

Before I officially welcome you to the site, let me start with a little story that goes like this:

"I signed onto SA and saw a new post by fizgig and then promptly screamed, summoning my 58lbs dog who thought I was in danger and proceeded to comfort me by viciously licking my face, because Fizgig is my favorite Dark crystal character."

True story.
(My mate got me a Fizgig plushie for Yule last year!)

Anyway! Welcome to SA! I'm ReD and I held off rejoining forum RPs for many of the same reasons you did after a long hiatus. I was put off by the pettiness, but after about a week on SA all my doubts were completely squashed.

I brag about this community a lot because we're made up of various levels and styles of RPing, but everyone comes together to make plots, events, and fun friends. I'm sure you'll fit right in!

Finding this place: I had the same problem. The other role playing sites I have been to are to straight forward, to many rules, not very welcoming, and other things. when I found this site it was for me too, a breath of fresh air. It was rich, fun and well, everything I wanted a role playing site to be pretty much. ^-^

Welcome! Hello :D I am ClaireGirl, but I prefer Claire. I have not been around that long (November 11th) and I am one of the youngest people on here (14). Welcome to Starlight Academy and I hope that your time here is great! The people here are super nice and fun to talk to, not to mention role playing with. ^-^ I am very happy that you have joined this loving and fun community! I love new people and I hope that you enjoy that we have to offer.

@ReD: fizgig is the best okay. I'm just glad someone FINALLY understands. It's so rare I run into people who even know what The Dark Crystal is, when I'm sitting over here clinging to my box set of that and the Labyrinth with my Fizgig shirt on and crying cause 4ever alone in fandom.

I got to meet the Frouds a few years ago and we got to talk about what it was like to make/work with the Skepsies (which I can't remember how to spell right now) and Fizgig. It was awesome. @____@

But yes, I feel your pain about being alone in that fandom D= Everyone picks up my stuffed Fizgig and think he's a hairball. They don't get the levels of epic!
