Current Major Concern: He has good luck. Too much of it.
Appearance Description: Felix is blessed with extraordinarily good looks. His Scandinavian blond hair, blue eyes, and light, unblemished skin makes for a fantastic combination. He keeps his hair rather long, letting bangs fall around his eyes in a sort of rugged way. He has a bit of a feminine face shape but some would say that only adds to his appeal. He has a lean, toned body figure as well.
His clothing style is that of your average teenage elitist, all collared, ironed shirts and sweaters/blazers with long khaki pants and some expensive shoes. On his off days at home (which is almost never), he lounges around in a tank top and a pair of sweatpants.
His left ear is pierced twice and his right four times, but he somehow manages to pull it off without looking like a punk.
Personality Description: Felix is basically a grumpy-pants rich boy. Not because he's spoiled, but rather because he hates the lifestyle he has now (so yeah, spoiled). His good luck has always made him the center of attention, willingly or not, so he's gotten used to acting the smiling playboy. On the inside, he is boiling with hatred and resentment- not at people, but really at the Fates for making him the way he is.
He's smart, but not overwhelmingly so. He's good at sports, but not to the point that he'd get recruited. Musical talent? He can carry a tune and stick to the rhythm, but he's no virtuoso. And in case you were wondering, yes, he can sketch an apple, but his portrait skills are painstakingly average.
But how? Why? What was the universe thinking, giving such an average boy such a fantastic gift? Who knows. Felix spends a lot of time wondering what his life would be like, if he didn't have all this good luck. Would his family still be wealthy? Would his friends still be his friends? Would he be where he is today, who he is today?
As a result of all this contemplation, Felix has become a rather negative person, constantly searching for ulterior motives in people, even if they don't know about his luck. He treats them politely, with a smile, but never lets anyone gets in too close.
Powers: Not so much a power as a blessing (or a curse, depending on who you ask), Ave Fortuna gives Felix good luck. Nothing big; his favorite football team won't necessarily win the World Cup, but things that personally relate to him or are near him will be granted good fortune as well.
Examples? Felix is astonishingly attractive, has never broken a bone in his life, and has an almost unnatural charisma about him. He makes "friends" easily, studies the exact topic that the pop quiz is on the night before, and always has the right amount of change in his pocket. Hard bargains driven by hagglers near him will end with everyone happy. If he drives, or someone is driving him, there will always be a good parking spot available. In sports, his opponent will barely miss making the play.
By all accounts Felix has practically had the perfect life. In his opinion? Ha. What a joke.
Felix has the ability to grant people good luck as well, if he likes them (which is rare). He has to maintain skin-on-skin contact for a minute or so, depending on how their luck is that day. He can't tell what their luck is exactly, but his body will shut off his "luck transfer" by itself automatically, as if to prevent all his luck from draining away. The luck he transfers is normally in miniscule amounts.
If Felix does not transfer any good luck to anyone, it will build up and eventually simply give him a small aura of sorts, so that anyone who comes near him will have a slightly better day. They'll find a dollar bill on the ground, their cat will come home, they'll bump into their crush that day. It varies from person to person really.
As a side effect, people tend to unknowingly gravitate towards him, as if his good luck is drawing them in. He hates this.

Biography: Felix Detolf. First son of the Detolf family, following three older sisters. From the very beginning his good luck was evident; his mother had little to no complications giving birth, and his father was around at the right time to come in and hold his son, a couple minutes after he arrived.
His father, Alexander Detolf, was a wealthy businessman with multiple unknown connections to the underworld of crime. With the classic belief of male superiority, he valued sons over daughters, and as such, shunted his three older daughters to the side in favor of Felix. His mother, Amelia Detolf, despite this obvious display of discrimination, found herself drawn to her newest child as well, but on a smaller scale; she did have three daughters with whom she could bond with as well.
From a young age, Felix was incredibly lucky; he never had any serious injuries, never had trouble making friends, was always his parents' favorite child. This earned him the constant simmering resentment of his sisters. Despite all their anger, they were unable to get back at him. If they tried to physically harm him, he would remain unhurt. If they teased him, their parents would immediately find out and put an end to it. So they finally, simply decided to… ignore him.
An elementary-school age Felix didn't understand why his sisters hated him so much. They were siblings, weren't they? Lonely after his friends had to go home, he began spending more and more time hiding out in his father's office, pretending that he was hiding in a cave, or something, while crouched under his father's desk.
One day, while he was pretending to be a dinosaur, Alexander entered, bringing a few other "businessmen" with him (or Felix assumed they were businessmen, he couldn't see them from beneath the heavy wooden desk). Felix remained absolutely silent, trembling with fear that his father was going to catch him. Negotiating went on, and finally culminated in Alexander's triumphant grin as the other men exited. Alexander came around his desk and promptly came upon a shaking Felix, still crouching under his desk.
Felix can't remember anything after that but a few words from his father's mouth.
"Ha, little Felix must be my good luck charm!"
After that, Felix spent most of his time with his father, learning about the world of a businessman. Most of it was terribly boring to his young ears, but he wanted his father to smile, laugh, especially because of him.
Their family's wealth increased almost exponentially. His mother and sisters now spent most of their time gallivanting around with money, spending it on unnecessary things. His friends became greedy, often asking to spend more time with him. As he got older and graduated into high school, girls began throwing themselves at him, mostly interested in his family's wealth and "his absolutely delicious body did you see him omg he's right there squeeeeeeee!!!!". After dozens of "Oh man, that was so lucky!" shouts and thumps on the back, Felix began to feel suspicious. How on earth could anyone be so…. Fortunate?
Felix began to grow tired of the lifestyle that most any teenage boy would want. He drew into himself, politely but firmly. He wouldn't raise his hand to talk in class. He wouldn't talk to classmates at all. He began to withdraw from his family as well, preferring to stay in his room rather than sit in on his father's business transactions, which began to become less and less profitable. Alexander must have made the connection between Felix and his transactions and forced him to stay sitting at the table during meetings.
Felix was tired of his father's greed and his family's lavish spending. He was tired of people approaching him for who knows what reason. With graduation from high school coming up, there was no doubt that his father would try to keep him close by, and eventually push the running of the company on him.
It was then that he got the letter from Starlight Academy. Without a second thought, as soon as he got his diploma, Felix went home, packed a few necessities, and escaped to Manta Carlos, ready to begin a new life.
Additional Information:
His favorite snack is dried pineapple.
His favorite sport is football/soccer; he's a forward. Many people have tried to talk him into becoming a striker ("Look at how many goals they score!") but Felix finds it more interesting to be the one who sets up that goal. He gets enough attention as it is.
He speaks English and French fluently, along with a little bit of Spanish picked up from his family's employees. Despite his Scandinavian heritage, he is as of now unable to speak any of the languages from that cultural region.
