Ebviony stood in the middle of... wherever they were. It was hard to figure out. Only moments ago were they heading to bed. Now they had awoken in a large playground with all sorts of familiar toys waiting to be used. This wasn't like any other lucid dream they had. Lucid dreams felt real, but not this real. Nor so stable. There wasn't any sense of fogginess or the threat of losing control of the story they were brought into. It felt like they were transported to a different world.

That's what brought the panic. And the shaky breathing. And the tears.

And, like someone was watching them, sugary desserts were laid out with all of Ebviony's favorite toys joining in to eat with them. The familiar faces managed to bring some soothing to their tears. At first, Ebviony was hesitant to take any of the food, wondering if this was some sort of trick, but their dolls reassured them that it was all safe, so they went ahead and ate. And ate they did, because no matter how much they ate, they never felt full or sick or tired. It was one of the best tea parties they ever had, even if they felt confused.

Tlanextic

Once upon a time, there was a court. It didn't exist anymore, not from what Tlanextic could see. But there were whispers in the world of something else. It couldn't quite be described as a rise so much as a gentle upward inclination. Something new was sprouting in the dead ground of the old and, out of curiosity, Tlanextic circled around the anomaly.

They were currently in some place that the human fleshbags called "Jamaica." It was hot and sticky, the breeze slithering about like a lazy serpent. The anomaly itself was quite small but large enough for a person to creep through. It was in this way that Tlanextic found themselves on a strange plane full of wood and plastic objects. And one sole sapient.

Ebviony was just finishing up the tea party so they could play in the park when a stranger intruded on their fun. A stranger that was somewhat familiar, but not enough to keep Ebviony from letting out a shriek and backing away.

The toys they ate with grew to ten feet tall and towered over the little man to create a circular shield around Ebviony with their bodies. The toys waited patiently for Ebviony to recover from their undignified show of cowardness, then moved a bit out of the way so their master could get a better view of the stranger.

"Who are... Daddy? Daddy!" Ebviony pushed their way through their toys to run up to him. "Where... Wh-Where are we?"

Tlanextic

"Ebviony," Tlanextic acknowledged with a nod, a little surprised to see their child. It had been a while since their last meeting back at their mother's court. "So this is all your doing?" they mused. "Impressive."

They took another look around the rift that they had fallen into. "I am not quite sure what this is but it seems like it is most likely connected with your own powers," they deduced, based off of their knowledge of how Ebviony's imagination powers worked. It was only natural that they grew more powerful over time. "Have you noticed things happening in line with your desires? Try wishing something into existence. It might just work."

"Yes, very impressive." Obviously, Ebviony was impressive. They were now a powerful fae Monarch of a court reborn. Their body may be small, but they were polite, cute, and filled with power that would only grow the longer they lived.

However, while Ebviony said this was impressive, they still lacked knowledge on what was going on. This being part of their powers did make sense, but it also didn't feel real. As far as they knew, they never had the ability to do this until just now.

But they were told to try to wish for something, so they did. "I think so... I had a tea party earlier with friends because I got scared." It was easy for Ebviony to think of something to wish. After all, they were imagination incarnate. So they had a beautiful unicorn be summoned in front of them, then shrunk it down so Ebviony could easily pull themself onto it.

"So I did this? Does that mean I disappeared? I don't want Momm—Um... I don't want Ms. Forestier to get angry."

Tlanextic

Tlanextic hummed in approval, looking over the unicorn that had suddenly appeared. "So it seems like this, this realm is working off your unconscious desires as well as your conscious ones. I wonder what sort of limits this power has." Because there surely were some. With how potent it seemed, surely the range would not be very far? But as Tlanextic looked from horizon to horizon, all they could see was the realm their child had created.

"I think it is safe to say you did this, yes," they said out loud. "As for disappeared -where were you last? I was on one of those human settled islands last I checked. Jamaica, I think? Or was it Bermuda? One of the two."

Forestier, Forestier. Did they know that name? Tlanextic dismissed the thought. Clearly it was not very important to them. "I am sure you will be able to return yourself to wherever it was if you wish. I am much more interested in the physics of this realm, however. How long have you been here for?"

Ebviony's dad spoke like a teacher, which was, to be frank, boring. They hadn't meant to sigh out loud. It just happened when the physics of here was brought up. Who cared about the physics of this world? It just did things, and that was acceptable enough to Ebviony.

"I don't know... Um... One hour? Two hours? I didn't count. I was sleeping, then came here. I live on a new island now. Manta Carlos."

Now that Ebviony thought about it, time was an issue. If they were gone for too long, their family would become suspicious and look for them.

"Do you think time could be different here? I don't want to get in trouble."
