"All right! I'll see you then!" Lucianne nodded cheerfully. She checked her phone quickly for the time. "Oof, it's about time for me to get home, anyways. I promised my siblings that I'd help them with something."

Saying her goodbyes to Jude with a wave, she rushed for home, late yet again.
