<div align=center>The day was bright, though it was well into the afternoon by now, after spending more or less the whole day sleeping,[i/] Levi decided it was probably a good idea to get up and go do something useful for once in his life.

Warmth. How Levi loved the warmth. Hated the sun, but he loved the heat. He'd learned that the sun hurt, or at least remembered that it did if you stayed out in it for too long. He was a little more well covered today, however, sporting a pair of black skinny jeans and a grey, knitted sweater that was probably too hot for the weather, but he kept it on regardless. His wings poked out the back of it, he complained about them an awful lot, but at least that were small enough to maneuver through holes in clothing. Levi didn't have any lessons today, he probably should have been doing work, but slacking off was a hell of a lot funner. Responsibility wasn't really something he enjoyed all that much, it wasn't that he was forgetful, he was just lazy.

The plan in his mind was to go to the store in town and pick up some more snacks. He was cutting it awfully fine with his current stash, it was at a dangerously low level, and that made him uncomfortable. What if I get cravings for something I don't have? It wasn't really clear where he got the money for all these snacks, but the most likely assumption was that he probably robbed a fair few of his victims. Wonder if that makes me a prostitute. Probably. </div>

Finally.

He was finally caught up with all of his work, having spent the whole morning and early afternoon slaving away atop his desk, furiously writing until his hand was cramped and he had to get up to wash the pencil smudges off.

He felt quite accomplished, actually, and believed he earned quite the break.

Of course, what better way to take a break than to nap? He knew just the place, too, and eagerly left the confines of his dorm room for his special spot.

And so, that afternoon at Starlight Academy saw the small, black cat form of Renato scampering down the halls, making barely a sound on the tilted floors as he all but flew out to the courtyard.

He knew his favorite spot would be there, waiting for him to curl up into a little ball, basking in the lovely afternoon sun. It would be filtered through the leaves of one of the trees directly behind his spot, so it wouldn't be too hot. No, it was the perfect spot, one he thoroughly enjoyed as many times a week as his schedule could allow.

Yet... He skidded to a halt the moment he was given a full view of the courtyard, slitted poison green eyes spotting someone in his spot. The fur on his tail started puffing up a bit in indignation at the sight. It was his spot. His spot, dammit!

With what seemed to be a feline version of a petulant pout, the cat sashayed over to Levi, letting out a low meow of annoyance. Then, just in case the demon didn't quite get the message of 'you're in my spot, buddy, now move', he started nudging Levi with his nose, as if he alone could move the male as he was, barely larger than a cat and all. "Meow~!"

<div align=center>Beginning to wonder why he'd even gotten out of bed in the first place, being outside was a waste of a day, sure, he could be doing something useful like school work or tidying the dorm, but why do those things when you could sleep? Realizing his mind had wandered again, a sound caught his attention in the dorm of a defiant meow. Feeling something nudging at his leg, dark eyes flickered downwards to the owner of that meow. A little black cat stood at his feet, and all at once the Incubus' face lit up. He had an affinity with cats, he wasn't sure why, but he just really liked cats. Perhaps it was the similarities he shared with his feline counterparts, not that he ever recognized that.

Tail curling up behind him, the boy shifted to a crouching position, staring at the cat and tilting his head to the side. There was something... Not quite right about it, though Levi couldn't really put his finger on what that thing was. Not a thought in his head suspected that this cat was in fact a person, not even once. "Hi there, little guy. What do you want?" He asked softly, extending a hand to the creature and staring at it.</div>

Ren had become so worked up that he didn’t seem to notice the stranger’s excitement until Levi was suddenly crouching in front of him, staring at him thoughtfully. When a hand was offered to him, he contemplated using his claws or not, but decided against it. There was something almost… feline about the boy that called to the more cat-like instincts Ren usually tried not to give into.

Regardless, making friends with the boy now could prove beneficial-- he seemed like the type to enjoy napping just as much as Ren, and maybe he could squeeze out a few scratches here are there. It didn’t hurt that Levi was indeed quite attractive, if a bit obviously demonic, though he wasn’t as affected by the incubus’ aura in his cat form as a normal person would have been.

After a few moments of his own thoughtful silence, he let out one last sulky meow before leaning forward to sniff at the proffered hand. Eventually, he began nuzzling Levi’s hand, then started nudging him again, trying to get him to sit back down. Hopefully, the boy would understand his next, demanding meow, possibly even allow the cat to curl up in his lap and offer him a back rub. Either way, Ren would get his nap, dammit.

<div align=center>Understandable that a cat wasn't as affected by Levi as a human was, but of course he wasn't really thinking about that right now. He didn't really have anything to feed the cat, judging by the fact he didn't tend to bring things around with him, but he was content to sit and pet the creature for now. Levi was prone to wasting time, and this was a perfect time-wasting-opportunity. Shifting, and moving to sit cross legged as the cat let out a demanding little mew. He wondered who the creature belonged to, he hadn't even known that pets were allowed on campus.

"Where did you even come from?" He asked softly, tilting his head and flicking his tail back and forth behind him, the tip twitching every now and again. Moving a hand to scratch the little creature under the chin, the little demon liked the way fur felt, it was soft and warm and he couldn't help but envy it just a little, though he thought it would probably look a little odd if he'd been born covered in a thick coat of fur. It would have been awfully hot down in Hell as well as that. "I wonder what your name is." Humans gave their pets names, didn't they?</div>

Finally, the boy seemed to understand. Ren carefully climbed over the boy's legs to settle down in his lap, curling up while his own tail swayed lazily in the air. Within moments, however, he began purring quietly, the sound deepening with contentment as Levi began to scratch. He lifted his head so it would be easier, little black ears twitching as he basked in the pleasant sensation.

He paid little attention to the boy’s questions, though he supposed he’d have to reveal the fact that he wasn’t actually just a cat. Oh well, he’d get to that after his nap, though he now wanted to simply drink up all the scratching and petting Levi was doing; he didn’t usually like being cooed at while he was in his feline form, but the demon was hitting all the right places so he figured he could excuse it this time.

After quite a while-- though Ren wished he could just lay there forever and purr—, he eventually stood back up, giving a little cat stretch before stepping out of Levi’s lap. He moved about three feet away before shifting to his human form with a silent poof. He was crouching back and staring over at Levi with vivid green eyes, brushing his feathery auburn hair out of his face. “‘lo, I’m Ren, darling~”
