Appearance: Her build is athletic, strong, tall, and confident. She keeps her hair long, and voluptuous. It is often up in a ponytail or a braid to keep it out of her face. Her face is usually smiling, her large eyes dancing constantly.
Her hair is always a darker shade, noticeably than her skin. Her body always changes to match her mood, so her hair, eyes, skin-everything is always changing colours. Her skin itself is usually pretty flawless-Cam could probably count the number of pimples she has had on one hand, maybe two. However, it's fairly susceptible to sunburns-leading to a life of liberal sunblock usage. She wears some make up; but usually just mascara and eyeliner. She's lucky she has such good skin; she doesn't have the option to wear cover up.
Clothing she usually sticks to neutral palettes-too much colour in her clothing just makes her look ridiculous with changing skin. Of course, whilst in high school she uses her uniform, and wears the school gym outfits while with the team. In her down time she usually wears dressy tops, with jeans, or dress pants if she wants to feel fancy. Her personal work out clothing are tank tops, and booty shorts. She rarely wears dresses or skirts-Cam just finds them uncomfortable.

Personality: Despite family problems, Cameron is very easy going, happy-go-lucky. She loves to have fun, and laugh. She is impulsive, and passionate, and wears her emotions on her sleeves. (Pretty much literally). Cam's loyal, and always willing to fight for her friends. And sometimes just for fun. There's a lot she'll do on a whim, and not follow-up with later. However, she is very committed to her sports life. Keeping her body in peak phsyical form is something she works hard to maintain, both in official practice, the recommended extra practice running, and some weight training. Cameron never breaks promises, to others or to herself-though if she makes a stupid one she will berate herself, and usually loudly, later. She can be a little arrogant at times, but she's good at knowing what she IS good at.
Only talking about her family gets her tense, or concerned. Cam's not overly smart, getting average grades. She works out too much to study all the time, but still, tests don't freak her out. Challenges and danger just excite her. But bringing up her family? She'll get cold, possibly yell at the person for bringing it up, and walk out in a huff. Master of her feelings she is not.
As to love, she'd been in girlhood relationships before, but Cam isn't sure she's ever been in love. Just giggled at boys, and kissed a little. A solid, tied down relationship would feel like too much effort for her; open and free as a bird is more up her alley.
History: Cameron was born to slightly more mature parents than some, and raised with love. Her childhood was filled with fun, encouraging of her to meet her goals. She was signed up on soccer teams as a child-like many are-and showed actual promise. Her school life was also fun-though did bring on several frustrating nights when the girl couldn't figure out various school problems, or silly childhood drama. Completely natural, normal problems.
She was six when her little brother was born, and nine when her little sister was. Cam was fiercely proud of, and protective of her siblings. Of course, they did annoy her at times, and waking up because of baby siblings isn't fun, but as they grew, she found ways to play with and teach them things.
Cameron reached high school happy, and fairly popular. She had joined the soccer team that first fall season, and even nabbed a boyfriend-though not a particularly serious one. Life was good, solid. Until the day she became a woman.
She was later than most of the girls of her class, for getting her first period. It seemed a normal day, though first period she started to have stomach cramps. By second it was painful enough for her to not pay attention to her teacher. Cam started panicking, wondering what the heck could be wrong with her. A friend, sitting beside her poked her shoulder, whispering that Cameron had started to look pale. Meeting her eyes, she saw her friend's puzzled face turn to shock.
Cam ran out of the classroom, to go to the bathroom. She left behind a trail of whispers. She ran into the toilet first, discovering the truth of the cause of her pain. After, as she went to wash her hands, hands shaking slightly still, she finally saw herself in the mirror, and screamed. Her body, hair, and eyes were white. Everything had started to go slightly pink once the fear had left, but now her entire body was stark white again. Her normally trustworthy legs collapsed beneath her, and she stayed there til her friend from class came to say the teacher wanted her back. Cameron couldn't move, just stared at the girl in terror. The girl ran back to class, and eventually Cam's parents were called.
Thus began a month of hospitalization, for whatever caused her parent's precious daughter's disease. Once her body relaxed, Cam's skin changed to a light orange-pink. Slowly she and the doctors realized her emotions were causing the changes, or as the hormones inside her became imbalanced so did her skin pigments. During that time, Cam realized her parents refused, or could not meet her eyes, nor did they look at her directly. Finally, when the doctors said she could go home-that nothing was wrong with her, her parents had a screaming match with them, insisting she was sick, and needed help. They lost the argument, and she was taken home in silence. Eventually, only her siblings would really talk to her at home, while her parents treated her like a walking parasite in their house.
It was nearly Christmas time when the letter from Starlight Academy arrived, and for the first time since the first day of her...peculiarity she cried. This time, from happiness at the promise of a place with more people like her, where she wouldn't be stared at, or whispered about as she walked by. The only good thing about her parents' awkwardness around her was they agreed readily to send her away. Too happily. But Cam didn't let herself focus on that, buying all that she would need to move, and packing. At the end of the first semester, and exams in January, she finally was shipped out to the grouping of Islands called Monte Carlos. The place was perfect, and decorated her new room gleefully. Only once her first night in that dorm fell, did she curl up and cry at her family's complete rejection of her.
Still, Cameron moved past it. It was either move past or fall prey to total misery. Her nature was not one to brood, or be self pitying, so she tossed herself wholeheartedly into her school, and her sports. She began to really enjoy life at Starlight.
One and a half years later, and she still does love school life here.
Powers:
Living Mood Ring: Cameron's skin, hair, eyes; her entire body changes colours depending on her mood. The intensity of the colour is how strongly she is feeling, almost appearing to glow in extreme times of emotional stress. Of course, sometimes she feels more than one emotion, so the colours fade into each other on her body.
Chameleon: With extreme patience, and emotional stability, Cam can appear to vanish. Of course, she has to be naked for this to be perfectly effective, and anything she sees or hears to change her emotional balance can make her body shift to whatever emotion she felt. Thanks to teenage hormones, this is even harder to control.
