Marcus Warke
Standing outside the Delphi, Marcus looked about. It all seemed normal. "I guess its business as usual."

Walking in, Marcus went immediately to the section that was previously shown to be where they stored the spell books. He had memorised their contents, and with the mixed results h had seen in his experiments, he thought he was ready to learn a bit more.

Taking what he thought was the next step in conjuration, he went up to the counter. "Hello," he said to the Attendant.

Aslan Solak

Aslan didn't care much for working the counter or actually interacting with anybody in general. It wasn't anything personal, he just didn't happen to have a very high opinion of humans. Unfortunately, most of the island consisted of humans. Still, as long as he wanted to have free housing and not just sleep in a tree, he had to interact with them for Ithai's sake.

"Good day." He didn't pretend that he cared whether or not the person in front of him found what they needed so he didn't ask. He simply grunted and rung up the book that they had gotten.

Although once upon a time, Marcus wouldn't have had an issue with quiet staff. However, He was in a good mood. His research into the Regalia was going well, and his own study on magic was having good results. He just felt like talking today.

Speaking of Regalia. "If you don't mind me asking, has this Shop received any more business lately?" With some of the staff being Regalia, it was possible that some people came here looking to pact with them.

"Yes," Aslan answered blandly with a blank yet judging stare. "Why? Are you trying to sell us something? Or is this an audit? Because I'll have you know, our paperwork is always completely on time." Really, he didn't care why this person was asking after business; he just wasn't going to offer up information without first being told what the information was going to be used for.

"Oh, no." He said. Unlike Claudius, this one had a much worse disposition. "I meant, I was here the other day.And with the first born Regalia prince here, I thought that others might come looking. Tournament and all that. Just checking, that's all."

"Uh, I'm Marcus." he felt obligated to say it. "I left a Golden egg here the other day?"

"Aslan." Aslan's tone as he introduced himself was so flat that it was like a sheet of paper. "So you're the one who gave him that. I guess I should be thanking you, then. He's been holed up taking care of it ever since." It meant that Claudius was also spending less time being a paranoid wreck of a person.

He gave the boy a hard look. "I don't recall his identity being common knowledge, however. I would advise you to keep that quiet."

"I know, but if I figured it out, I doubt it would be hard for others to do the same." He was glad Claudius was taking care of it. It put a bit of strain on his power, but as long as Marcus didn't summon anything else, it should be fine.

He mimed pulling a zipper across his mouth. "Dont worry. I'll keep it secret."

Pulling out his wallet, Marcus handed over a twenty and a five dollar note. "What kind of trouble?" It wasn't his place to ask, but it was too late now, he asked.
