Appearance Description:




Face: 
August's face is tall, with a sharply pointed chin about two inches below his mouth. His jawline is sharply defined, yet his cheekbones are not very visible. 
His eyes are a solid amber, usually moderately narrowed when opened.
His nose is thin, with the bridge perfectly flat.
He is fair skinned, and clear skinned- no bumps or blemishes, and is symmetrical.




Hair: August's hair is dark maple brown, and is just long enough to not cover his eyebrows when parted (which he always parts to his right) 
On his sides, it almost covers his ears, and reaches about an inch under his ears in the back. 
His hair is very static, it would be difficult for him to flip it just by swinging his head alone. He will re-part his hair from time to time to make sure that it doesn't cover his eyebrows, unless he's in a mood of despair or depression, in which case, he doesn't really worry about it.




Body: 
August's body is slim, and he is about 6' 2".
However, the lack of muscle does not indicate weakness, as August is strong enough to handle on his own.
August usually has his left hand on his hip, which is the most dynamic he will be in terms of posture. He usually stands straight up, and kneels when required to get low. He keeps a professional image in public, and is a little more laid back in private.




Apparel: 
August usually wears a black winter turtleneck fleece, which covers his mouth and stops a few millimeters below his nose.
He will slip it down to speak when trying to project his voice in a louder fashion.
He wears black jeans and dark maroon, flat-footed tie-shoes.

Powers:

Dice of Destiny
August carries a twenty-sided die around with him.
When thrown, each number summons a different weapon at his disposal.
(Note: To keep things balanced, I will actually be using a D20 for the purpose of this power.)
If a weapon is not in August's hands and hits any other solid or liquid surface, it will automatically dissipate after 20 seconds.
This rule resets whenever August touches the weapon again.
If the weapon dissipates automatically by lack of contact, then the next throw will be ten sided labeled one through ten.

SPECIAL RULES:
~Throwing Rules~
The die will immediately stick to ANY surface it hits, and then will dissipate, with the weapon summoning in August's hands.
The die must be thrown at least three feet for the power to activate, and have spun at least ten times after the throw before activation. 
If these conditions are not met when the die is thrown, the die will bounce off of the first surface it touches and dissipate, reappearing in August's hand.
*Note* If the die is thrown and does not hit a solid or liquid surface within 10 seconds of the throw, it will dissipate and reappear in August's hands.
~Summoning Rules~
In order for August to dissipate his weapon and the re-summoning of his die to become possible, the weapon currently in his hand has to hit a viable target, which includes:
~Any animate creature or object~

~Any matter that has a conscious~
Or, the weapon can be dissipated after
 two and a half minutes.

A weapon automatically dissipates after thirty minutes. Ergo, August can not constantly carry a weapon his favors or is content with summoning.

If a weapon spawns with standard ammunition, then the weapon will instantly dissipate as soon as all of the ammo is depleted.

Note: If a weapon is dropped
WEAPONS:

1. Sharp Butterfly
Rolling a 1 will summon a steel butterfly knife, the blade almost two inches in length. The blade's wings are black as night, and the blade is silver.

2. Rockslinger
Rolling a 2 will summon a small wooden slingshot, that has a thick rubber strings and a leather launchpad.
This weapon does not come standard with ammunition.

3. Training Staff
Rolling a 3 will summon an aluminum pole about 6 feet in length. The pole has the same properties of a baseball bat, which will cause barring vibrations on heavy impact, and can shake the staff from August's hands.

4. Vinecutter
Rolling a 4 will summon a steel machete, of 3 feet in length, and 5 inches in maximum width. The handle is carbon fiber, black.

5. Pincushion
Rolling a 5 will summon 10 super thin, iron-cast needles, each needle two and a half inches. These needles can be used to target pressure points, and, if used correctly, can knock an opponent unconscious. However, since the needles are flimsy, they must be inserted perpendicular to the surface on entry in order to be effective to any extent.

6. Short-sword
Rolling a 6 will summon a steel 
short-sword, the blade being three feet long. The handle is silver.

7. Lucky Seven
Rolling a 7 will cause a ten-sided die to appear in August's hand, labeled 8-17.

NOTE Lucky Sevens cannot be performed twice in a row. If a seven is rolled twice in a row on the twenty-sided die, then the die will summon the
Sharp Butterfly.

8. Bladed Whip.
Rolling an 8 will summon a metal whip only 5 feet long, with small metal blades on opposite sides.

9. Battleaxe
Rolling a 9 will spawn a battle-axe, the handle 2 feet in length, the blade 2 feet in length and 2 feet in width. The blade is double sided, and is black steel with a small, silver dragon insignia in the middle.

10. Golden Eagle
Rolling a 10 will spawn a Golden Desert Eagle, with a standard clip of 7 rounds.

11. Spear of Light
Rolling an 11 will summon a silver and golden spear, 6 feet in length, with a silver pointed tip on one side. This spear is more effective against beings of darkness.

12. Triple-Crossbow
Rolling a 12 will summon a crossbow that has three arrow channels, one that goes straight, and two that are each angled 30 degrees from the middle arrow.
Comes with one extra set of arrows.

13. Double revolvers
Rolling a 13 will summon two revolvers, each with 6 shots. And the end of all 12 shots, One revolver dissipates and the other is filled with a single bullet, with the power of a shotgun slug, as the thirteenth shot.
~Whichever revolver is fully depleted first will always be the revolver that is filled with the thirteenth shot.~

14. Great Sword
Rolling a 14 summons a cream-tinted titanium sword brightly illuminates when swung. The sword is 15 feet long, is one sided like a katana, with the blade being 2 feet wide.

15. Warhammer
Rolling a 15 summons a Warhammer. The hammer is rectangular, and is a square foot on each side.
The handle is 3 feet wide.
The entire hammer is made of black steel with a crimson pearlescent finish.

16. Double Scythe 
Rolling a 16 will summon a double scythe, each blade pointing in opposite directions. The handle is 8 feet long, each blade occupying 2 feet of that, with each blade being 3 feet in width.

17. Whip of Chains
Rolling a 17 will summon two iron chain whips, one for each hand, each 15 feet in length. At the end of the chains are emerald-encrusted, two sided, pointed blades about 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide.

18. Dual Kitanas
Rolling an 18 will summon dual Kitanas, each black as night, and four feet long. Made out of steel, the hilts are made out of Carbon Fiber.

19. Glaive of Ice
Rolling a 19 will summon a Glaive made entirely of non-breakable ice, which is tinted yellow on the inside. This glaive is 10 feet long, bladed on one end about 3 feet into the handle. The other side is widened to a club size of about half a foot. This flavor can be used as a vault in order to reach higher places.

20. Blade of Tersa
Rolling a 20 will summon a 5 foot long, single sided blade of Mythril. This blade has the ability to easily cut through materials as strong as steel, and with effort, can cut through Titanium.

Biography~

August lived a pretty simple life.
No worries, No danger, No hustle~
Just a simple life in a simple town with a simple family. No biggie.
Every day, he'd go for a walk in the park with his dog, Snow, and every night, he'd do the same. It was almost routine for him, those trips to the park were are part of life. He never really felt it as a routine, however. He always enjoyed it with all of his heart, and cherished every moment.
He was fourteen at the time, a walk through the park that morning, when three shady creeps came out of nowhere.
They demanded that he give them everything he had.
Naturally, he refused.
Irritated by this, the man in the middle of the bunch pulled out a pistol, and fired a shot at Snow. Then another. Then--silence.
The man yelled at August now, and was fierce in his voice. August, however, wasn't listening. He had just lost his best and only friend, tears flowed down his face as he saw Snow lying lifeless on the ground. He felt something new. A new emotion rushing through him that he never felt before...anger. He had felt something in his fist, out of nowhere, but he didn't care. He instinctively threw the object at the one in the middle, knowing that it would be soon over anyway; anybody who would kill an animal for a child robbery would kill a child just as easily. The object hit the gunman in the eye, and it stuck there as he began to scream in unbearable pain. A number flashed in the air directly above him, and August was surprised at this; nothing made sense right now, he could only hope that Snow wasn't gone, that this was just a figment of his imagination, or even a dream. The number was a 10.
He felt a new, heavier weight, as a pistol slowly formed out of nothing in his hands.
Confused, and startled, he realized the situation of what was going on. The other two men were approaching him, knives in hand.
August acted instinctively, raising the gun to the gang. Their reaction was immediate. They sprinted off in a hurry, the first thug tripping over himself, as the sound of sirens started to approach. He dropped the gun on the ground, and it dissipated in front of him, the dice reappearing in his hands.
A week later, he received a letter from Starlight Academy, a place that would truly test his newfound ability. He decided to go in a search of newfound power, in order to protect himself and others, so this would never happen again. And maybe, just maybe...he could find a way to revive his best friend.
